We purchased two newer used cars from Hatch Stateline here in Silver City in a 5 month period. It is a small town, people know each other. Going in for the second purchase, the salesperson had presented us with a sale price on paper previously. When we went into purchase, it turned out the the sale price was a quote for financing with $3,000 down. It was in small print at the bottom. That made the actual sale price more than the original quote as we were paying cash. One car had a malfunctioning tire pressure sensor which the salesman said was due to the cold temperatures. That was not the case. We scheduled it to be fixed, but had to bring it in four times for them to get it straight that the sensor was what was needed. One hand did not seem to know what the other hand was doing. If you choose this dealership, go in with your eyes wide open and be prepared for glitches or misinformation. read more

I have given this dealer multiple chances in the past and they blow it every time I purchased an extended warranty on a f350 dully for $4,000 plus I have a rear axle seal leak that should be covered under this extended warranty I talked to the service manager and he wants to charge me $160 first then submit it then charge me $200 additional if it is covered The warranty does not state if, if, if My recommendation is going to a different dealer that really cares about customer service because they clearly don't. He was also rude, snarky and belligerent. Real nice Ford, good job hiring people like this guy!! read more

Amazing dealership! They professional and courteous. Came in on the spur of the moment with a loose strike plate and they were able to fix it quickly and with no issues. Justin the service manager and the young lady were so great that I immediately felt at ease as I explained my problem; I was especially concerned, since I'm from out of state, that I'd have to pay a bundle but didn't. please see this dealership with all your Ford needs. read more

Absolutely stellar experience working with Michelle and Bob, the GM on my deal. I'm in the Phoenix metro area and this was the most pleasant, straight forward, no frills car buying experience I've had. I know they are extremely busy with other customers and running operations, but I received the care, diligence, and attention from their team as if I was the only customer on the books! Purely amazing. To top it off, they didn't play any mark-up games despite the demanding market, they went out of their way to assist with a long distance delivery/pick-up, and their financing dept obtained an even better deal for me than USAA. Top notch, if I ever look for another Ford vehicle again, I'll be happy to contact this group. read more

I had my oil changed in May of this year (23) and it was noted that I had an oil leak on the top left side of the motor. I talked to the service department (Anna) and told her that I have an extended warranty that I purchased at the time that I bought the truck, which was for 100, 000 miles or until 2025. She said that she didn't have record of it because it was purchased through Lawley Ford. I contacted Lawley Ford and confirmed that this warranty was valid. I have been back to the dealership at least 5 times since then and even talked to Bob Pearcy who said he would personally take care of it. To this day 09/01/23 they have not made any effort to correct the issue and getting any communication from them is impossible which is why I go in every week or so. This a disgrace especially when business' want us to keep money in our community. read more

We were traveling through Silver City while pulling our 5th wheel trailer. We're full-time RVrs so it's our home. When the truck developed a major brake issue service consultant, Ricardo Castanon, went out of his way to take care of us as quickly as possible. He set up the appointment to repair it the very next morning, contacted the warranty company for us, and kept us informed all along the way. Thank you, Ricardo, for taking such good care of us! read more

Along with finding a doctor and a dentist was finding somebody to care for my Lexus. I no longer do my own work, and am very particular who puts hands on my car. So, I picked Hatch Toyota. Excellent choice, it turns out. First off, they know what they're doing. They have the latest diagnostics and know how to use them. And, they have all the needed parts in stock. Plus, they're really nice people. No matter what I bring the car in for, like having the dash camera installed, they always do a little more; check the fluids, tire pressures, and other details to make sure the car keeps on running well. Thanks, folks.

I've been an Automobile technician for 40 years but was 1000 miles away. My son had already had the fault codes read for free at an Auto Zone and we knew it needed an inverter coolant pump. These crooks wanted to replace the engines water pump plus the inverter and the hybrid battery for several thousand dollars, so we towed the car 100 miles to Viva Toyota in Las Cruces where they knew what they were doing and treated us honestly and professionally and he was back on the road by noon with only a new inverter pump and a bill less than $500.00. I returned to Lawley Silver City and shared my experience with head mechanic Marty. Marty in return shared some pearls of wisdom, "It was my own fault for putting a transmission in a used Jeep, and he would never purchase a Jeep." I worked over 30 years in the entertainment industry, so I'm used to arrogant people, but they usually have a skill set to back up their mouth. Gladly had it towed away from here. Communication is awful with these folks. They have not responded even using the Lincoln concierge trying to facilitate getting things done. They are a nightmare. I am still waiting on a resolution from an issue in December. Lincoln Concierge still waiting to hear from Jeremiah! We towed it in and Lawleys checked the starter, alternator, etc. and said that the new battery must be defective and replaced it. About 4 weeks later the car did not start again. We had it towed again and NOW they said it is the starter. when we went to pay, the bill was almost 500.00 more (should have been 533.00 but was almost double) When brought to the attention of the woman behind the counter we got a "there is a mistake MY BAD" 24 hours later the car did not start AGAIN!! We called for a tow and had to roll the car out of the drive for the tow truck and must have shaken something because the car started. The car was still towed to Lawleys where they started it and then called us to come and pick it up because they said there was nothing wrong with it, THEY NEVER EVEN LOOKED AT IT!!! I would THINK if a customer said IT DID NOT START 24 hours after a starter is put in, they should AT LEAST look to see if there is a loose wire. We drove away with the battery light flashing and took pictures and video to send to the general manager who said he would have it looked at and we never hear from them again!! I will NEVER use or recommend Lawleys to anyone. All they had to do was look or refund but they chose to ignore instead. This used to be a good dealership who serviced all 5 of our vehicles (now zero) you would think they would want to keep a good customer, but they just do not care!

I recently purchased a 2013 F-150 FX truck from Hatch Ford. The experience was serious, business like, pleasant, and the transactions were clear, understood, and easily agreed to with Hatch Ford. I found their staff members that I worked with in obtaining the truck were friendly, professional, knew their products very good and were ready to help or provide any information that I had asked for. Starting with Lane Jackson, whom I found to be an experienced Manager, easy to relate to, and eager to please his customers and was a good listener, and he definately knows his job. After we agreed to all the terms and price, he then had me work with Ray Whitefield whom I really enjoyed in working and he too displayed a can-do attitutude, knew his job very well and put me an my wife at ease all during the process in finishing the documentation of the purchase of the truck. He definately knows how to professionally deal with Hatch Ford customers. We then went into Paul Terrazas's office and set up the official documents required to purchase the truck. His assistance in obtaining the loan, and insurance was greatly appreciated and he handled the transaction professionally. All in all, these three individuals acted as an excelllent team and in my opinion should be considered to be assests to Hatch Ford and the Managers of the company should be aware of their contributions to the company. Sale was orchestrated by Ray. Be sure and tell him I sent you in, of course, of you are inspired by my recommendation. Very experienced, low pressure approach from him. Listened well to my wants. Things went so well, overnight, took all I learned, recast my expectations, and called Ray to see about upgrading from my first intention to a higher level of product. This is the 3rd or 4th purchase made from Ray through several changes in the dealership ownership. Suffice to say, field me, buying a new vehicle is 100% relationship with a sales professional; notwithstanding brand allegiance or fleet purchasing arrangements. The Staff at the dealership asked innocuous questions that lead to fulfillment of a customer want or need; not once did I feel "shaken down" by Ray or the 'sales / finance" crew with, "How you going to pay" or "Do you have a trade-in". As it turned out, I got low KBB on my trade-in and drove off with a new truck in under 4 hours. I attribute the success of this transaction to the Dealership's product knowledge, ability to listen, and ability to structure a deal without pressuring or shuffling in negotiators. I felt like I could walk or drive off the lot feeling like all possibilities were fairly addressed. PLUS, the filled the tank with gas! read more

This company doesn't care about their female employees. One of them I know was sexually assaulted while on the job by a client after she had told the manager on shift she's wasn't comfortable being around said client. This happened back in September, as of this moment neither the client nor the manger have been held responsible and the female employee has been out of work(unpaid) since then. She did inform the owner and other mangers, still nothing. read more

The Ford dealership had strongly recommended that I do a complete transmission service, at the price of $485 plus tax. No, actually they said I would be walking if I didn't, and then they told me that my warranty would be voided if I took it anywhere but the dealership. When I challenged the mechanic on this statement, he backed down but did say that I had to use all Ford parts or the warranty would be voided. Miss even included in the Transmission fluid and filter. I called RPM for a second opinion, and Tom suggested I bring it out and let them look at the fluid. I had told him the whole story about Ford telling me that I couldn't take it anywhere else or use anything but Ford parts, and when I arrived at RPM Tom gave me a handwritten note with the name of the federal law that prohibits that sort of thing. Tom pulled the dipstick on my transmission fluid inspected the fluid, and pronounced it fine. he ask if the transmission was shifting fine, and I told him that it wants. He suggested but I did not need to do anything to the transmission. I believed him and was spared a $485 unnecessary expense at Ford. By the way, RPM would've charged $310 for the same exact service that Ford wanted $485 for. I strongly recommend RPM as honest people.
