All three pieces we'd have to order with a delivery estimate of 8-10 weeks! All three really? And there was a couple shopping at the same time and I overheard the other sales lady tell them the couch they were interested in wasn't in stock either. They left. We did too. Sales lady calls back to check stock on a couch... Literally within 3 seconds someone calls her back on the radio and says we don't have it. Sounds like that's just their operating system. "We just sold our last one of those couches".... Then shouldn't it already be on its way back in?!?

Sure. Would be a fantastic concept ... if you followed it. Two times we have shopped, picked something we loved and then were told they don't have it in stock and it could take 6-8 weeks to come in. Most recently we were told "we are very busy and that is our best selling item." Well, that's great for the store but why not order MORE of your best selling item so you can sell MORE of it and keep your customers happy instead of sending them out empty handed and on their way to another furniture store.

It will show a broken thread thread with just the slightest pull. I noticed the cat scratching first. I have had 2 sets of furniture, still have one set, and the cat, with short clipped claws,scratched on them all the time with no damage. I have pictures.This furniture was one quarter the price of this nearly $6000.00 set! I thought we'd be ok with cloth furniture this time too, Same cat, same nails. He is able damage it very easily. The fabric is cheap, cheap , cheap.If my less expensive furniture can hold our hardily why can't this? Now I have to keep it covered and place sticky paper on the sides. Who would have thought Lazyboy went so cheap on coverings? I read the reviews too late so I'm not alone. The store employee had no answers and said she never heard of that before. Right. Even pilling isn't covered by warranty. Read reviews before purchasing. I'm 71 so I guess it doesn't have to last forever but people beware. Comfortable though. At this age we weren't going to cover the furniture but will have to now so things don't catch on it.

    We were incredibly disappointed in delivery and level of customer service we received upon the…read moredelivery of our sectional. Measurements were done carefully and precisely to insure a non-refundable, expensive piece of furniture would work where we wanted it. We were given the dimensions and told the pieces would fit through standard size doorways. Never were we informed that the corner piece of the sectional would be wider than the listed measurement of 37". The crew that arrived to deliver the couch damaged our walls, ceiling, baseboard was broken, the banister was loosened from base, garage door damaged, and our front storm door hinge was bent and damaged as they shoved the piece through a doorway already deemed to small. When it had been decided that the attached leg pieces would not allow the piece to go down the hallway we waited another week for the re-delivery of the piece after the leg was made removable by WBF. Upon calling the store in regards to the piece not fighting as we had planned, my husband was accused of measuring wrong and told it was our problem. The owner of the store then called my husband and told him, "you got what you wanted and you want it in the basement" and that West Bend Furniture was not liable for any of the damage inflicted on our home. My issue is the blatantly poor customer service and lack of problem solving. I have always worked in customer service and never have I told a client it's his problem when an issue arose. We had never felt so disrespected and mistreated after spending nearly $4000 in a month on two pieces of furniture from there. I will not recommend shopping there because I have witnessed first hand when something goes wrong and the absolutely poor customer care you will receive. I will happily take my business to Biltrite or other comparable furniture stores in the future.

I was pleased to know also that Kettle Moraine Appliance had in store repairmen, also, for future use. Jeff did a fine job. Period. He has a very fine, extensive product knowledge base, and answered a lot of my appliance questions and concerns. He listened and I was not preached to, unlike too many Big Box Store clerks. I especially appreciated direct and accurate answers to my qualms of having to have a ventless clothes dryer. I have a quirky new kitchen set up where a built in alcove could take traditional stacked laundry units, but not an available exhaust pipe. So, a new style, all in one front opening single unit washer/electric ventless dryer was the solution. Jeff was a great and to the point "explainer" that the concept is sound and actually very common now a days. So, as a non - Digitally Gifted sort of fellow, I appreciated that .     We purchased a wall oven and were told it would be at their store within a week. I called after the…read moreweek and was told "we are short staffed" and that I should leave a message for my salesman. So I did. No call back so after another few days I called again and was told the same thing. Not until I basically demanded to speak to a manager did the receptionist respond appropriately and make it an appropriately handled discussion. I was then told by a manager when it would arrive. I called that day and they said it had arrived the day before. Then finally the salesman called after I already found out. The Installation crew was great thankfully. A week later I called to request a service guy to take a look at the door as it doesn't close right. The guy told me their service people weren't in that day and that I should call their West Bend store. Again, the customer is expected to do the store's job. I would not recommend them. If I can't find a better store next time I need an appliance I will order it online and deal with the installation on my own. They provided no added value. BTW my oven was $4000 so one would expect at least average customer service.

Ive had garage sale pieces, Goodwill finds, hand-me-downs, mix-match pieces. I finally am in the position to purchase a bedroom set. Shop for a year, finally find a set I/we both like, splurge on the purchase. Nothing but aggravation. I guess when the first salesperson said "ma'am I just work here, I cant help what the store does" I should have taken it as a sign and not tried to work with the store manager - but I didn't. Thought they did a good job trying to help. Was hopeful. When 3 weeks ago I'm told my delivery that weekend was cancelled because they forgot to include an integral part of the bed frame in the order, I should have cancelled. But i didnt. Now, finally delivery day, move all our existing furniture out, delivery comes (delivery/install guys were awesome), guess whats missing? Intergral part of the bed. Cant put it together. So now i have bed pieces everywhere, bed not assembled, and itll be another month before they can send the parts to me, then they still have to schedule a technician to come and install. Cant even walk in our bedroom-oh well. Beyond frustrated. Ready to return the whole set. Thanks Ashley Furniture. Great job - not.

Within an hour of delivery discovered handles on DR buffet were floating in the wind loose. Thought the delivery guy just didn't tighten them enough. Nope, the MDF or pressed wood is crumbling so handles have nothing to hold onto. I have been jerked around by their service department for two months, one excuse after another. Also noticing gouges in wood on bed purchased. These gouges were filled with tinted putty which is crumbling and leaving white gouges. Walked into bedroom and there was a white spot on headboard they had filled with tinted putty that is crumbling. So after two months of giving them chance to make good on this brand new piece of furniture that should not need any repair, I have spoken with my attorney. So be prepared to hire an attorney if you make the mistake of shopping here. I am a senior citizen so think I will add elder abuse to to my lawsuit. It sure feels like emotional and psychological abuse to me, to finally buy all this furniture that I have waited so long for, just to be screwed over by Ashley Furniture. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE.
