VTC is within vicinity of three streets, McBean Parkway, Magic Mountain Parkway, and Valencia Blvd. It is a good size outside shopping center. It has two floors. Parking is plenty. Tip of the day is to park close to where you'll be spending most of your time. Otherwise, you may need to do some walking. Luckily, Solita Tacos & Margaritas was located along side the parking area. I didn't have to walk too far in to get to them. Thank you! I didn't get a chance to peruse this center much during my visit. I hope to one day be back to explore it a bit more. In this plaza there's a Makenna Koffee, The Flying Yolk, Walgreens, Valley Marketplace, Kabuki, Massage Envy, Mooyah, a California Pizza Kitchen, and more. Honestly none of the actual businesses attracted me, so for that reason I can't give them a higher rating, but I LOVE THE POND. At the glorious pond with a bridge that lured us here, they had ducks and turtles. Best of all, there was a machine where you can buy treats to feed them for a Quarter. Luckily for me, my boyfriend had some quarters and let me indulge in playing with the ducks. It was SO CUTE. They were following us and definitely working for their snack. I like the hustle!! This is SO cute!! I really want to take my niece back here. Not for anything else in the plaza, but specifically to feed the ducks. We'll have to find other activities in Santa Clarita to make our trip worth it.

The parking lot is always an adventure. They do have electric charging stations available. One thing I've noticed is they tend to have THE SLOWEST cashiers. I tend to opt for self-checkout because of this. It's not just a bit slow- it's comically slow. Almost like they're trained to be the sloth from Zootopia. It's all of them. Not just one, which is why I think they're trained to go slow. To keep them from making mistakes and prevent loss issues possibly (?) but it's almost like a running joke now when we have to use a regular register. They take each item and look at all available sides before even attempting to scan it. Just give it a shot! Wave it in a circular motion and usually it will scan. I don't know why it's done the way they do it but watch next time you're there. It's kind of funny. I'm usually not in a rush so it's fine. Walking in there has always been a TERRIBLE sewer smell. I don't know where it comes from but it has been consistent. Sometimes worse, sometimes less depending on the breeze but always present. Everything is locked up and getting someone to unlock it makes it hardly worth the item itself. I've stood 10 minutes waiting and given up. When you do find someone they are less than pleased to assist. Wish I could say nice things about this location but they make it hard!

Without reviewing the local shop, let's just say he did a terrible job adding 2 links and a new (dead) battery...no wonder he insists on cash. That's when I heard about Valencia Time Center. From the time I walked into Valencia Time Center, I could tell I had found the right place. I was immediately greeted by a friendly associate. After explaining to him what had happened with my watch, he gave me a fair estimate. After a minute, Duane came over and discussed with me his ideas to fix and realign the links to where they should be placed. It appeared to me the 18k gold had been bent by the other guy, but Duane was able to make whatever magic alignment adjustments in a way that corrected the mistakes and made the watch look perfectly set again. He knows his craft well and obviously carries the right tools to fix what is brought in for repair. This watch is very special to me. I thought it was damaged forever.
