Limited options of donuts. Better donut shops down the road a mile or two. Good service thought but not enough selection for me.

Love! Love! Love Haskell! It's a high school favorite. Every time I come home I make two stops Johnny's and Haskell. I'm a simple kind of girl so I always opt for a 1/2 dozen of glazed with milk. You could never beat this combination. I'm sad I didn't stop before I headed back home to Georgia. Service is always wonderful when I visit. I'm sorry. I will not be returning to this place. The lady at the window is very nice. I don't go here for a doughnut. I go here for four or five dozen donuts to take to customers. There are so many great donut, places, and this happens not to be one of them. The coffee is something like you would get at a gas station in 1975. It's just colored water. They do a great business here and I do not understand why. I'm sure for plain donuts or a chocolate covered. Donut made fresh in the morning and that's what you're looking for, then you'll be OK. You want anything else I suggest you go to another donut place. I really hate it because the lady is so nice. While my order was being filled for six dozen various flavored donuts, I asked her for an apple fritter to eat while I waited. And yes, you will wait. There are cars wrapped around the building. Anytime I go in there because the poor lady is so slow. The apple fritter she gave me to have been more than two or three days old. It was like a super thick piece of cardboard. Find yourself a donut store where the owner is there working the counter. These are the ones where you will find good donuts. read more

With the long line I expected more than just ok donuts limited menu and people working the drive thru weren't friendly. If you do get them eat while fresh because they were hard and tasteless the next day. read more

Went this morning, and there was a roach cooked into to dough of those little hot dog things. We didn't go back and be a Karen, but we should have. We just threw them away and won't be back. They need to spray for roaches. We would have been MAD if we ate it. read more

This location totally banks and depends on the the Duck Commander crowd (DC is a block away.) They had a weird stuffed doll of Uncle Si sitting in the corner at one of the tables. They only had two or three in the shop. We stopped in there at 5:30 in the morning because we were freaked out due that the whole town of West Monroe smelled like sulfur or a gas leak and didn't want to be caught in the hotel if something horrible went awry. We had time to kill before church, so we stopped here. For that early in the morning, the cases were brimming of donuts. They were all cold though. They open at 4-4:30 in the morning, so I guess I could understand. I just assumed that the early bird would get some (in Jase's voice) flaming hot donuts. The staff was pretty friendly and chipper for 5:30am. The drive thru was frequent of customers. We dined in and were given plates to eat our donuts and they warmed them up in the microwave before we got them. Kinda odd, but ok. While we were eating our donuts, the staff that was behind the counter were talking about other employees. Not sure the entire content of the conversation, I was trying not to listen in, but didn't think that that was appropriate to talk about in front of customers like that. They did have the Duck Dynasty crew sign the counter where they sat during one of their episodes. I think that would be the only draw to this place. Sorry. read more

If you are expecting to actually buy a donut then plan to be there as soon as they open. They were out of glazed donuts, kolaches snd a lot of other items the other morning around 8:35am. Saw this place on Duck Dynasty, but I was staying overnight in town and was going to stop at any donut shop along the highway on my way to Monroe Airport early in the morning. The selection here is decent, but the low rating is largely due to them not having many drink options and the coffee was just plain nasty. read more

We go almost every Saturday for our donut treat. They have great donuts and a large selection. They don't have fountain sodas but they have a large selection of bottle sodas as well as milk, juice, etc. I am a local and at times it can have a large tourist crowd due to an episode of Duck Dynasty once being filmed there which can make the service run slow and tables run short. read more

I am in town maybe once a month and I crave the apple fritter from this haskell's...the way they make them here is better than any other location. Well I went this am and the apple fritter that used to be 90 cents is now $1.50....when the lady at the window told me the cost I had to recheck. I see all these reviews of people talking about coming here after seeing this place on duck dynasty but dang...to increase the price is ridiculous.
