Have been here a few times due to its proximity to my house. Have been disappointed on multiple occasions. The filled donuts aren't filled until you order them. The staff may be in a hurry to fill them as I've gotten some that had no filling and some that had 2 different fillings in the same donut. I've also gotten multiple eclairs without filling. If I go back, I'll just go for glazed donuts as they seem to get a safer choice. read more

3 stars for an average doughnut shop. This place had decent reviews, but in reality there is nothing that sets this place apart from the chain doughnut shops (with the exception of less variety). I rarely am in the mood for doughnuts, but this day was an exception......so I choose among several moderately-rated shops in town. I ended up selecting an elongated doughnut that was similar to a Boston Creme (in fact, it tasted nearly the same as one from the major chain) & I also selected a chocolate topped cake doughnut w/ an interesting shape.....it was circular, but more of a dunking shape. Neither of the doughnuts were particularly fresh in my opinion......albeit they were not stale either. Flavor was fine and to be eexpected.....just nothing "wow-worthy" here. The coffee was OK here too, but again.......nothing special. In all, if you are looking for the "old-standard" for a doughnut, this place will do fine. The service was firently enough and the doughnuts tasted as one would expect. read more

Absolutely delicious. I had the Boudin Kolache and it was AMAZING! This is our second time getting donuts there. It's National Donut Day, so obviously we had to get some. The Old Fashioned and regular Glazed are delicious. I also got a Lemon filled. The way they do filled donuts is genius. They make the donuts and they are ready to fill with whichever filling you choose on demand. Saves on food waste! read more

Wonderful!! The food was so good, and the service is top notch. The glazed donuts are good, but you must try the blueberry cake donut. They are delicious!! We also tried the breakfast sandwiches and they were great! The portion sizes were also nice. The people here serve with a smile and this place stands out among Monroe donut joints. read more

Excellent service and very friendly. The owner works the store. He offered to warm everything up. Prices were more than reasonable. We had two kolaches stuffed with cheese and a third with boudin. Half a dozen donuts and an apple fritter. As mentioned numerous times in other reviews the blue berry donuts were awesome but the apple fritter was in close competition. We got the last 3 blueberry donuts of the day so come early to get some! read more

Okay, I drove way out of my way to try this shop because of the awesome reviews that they receive. I walked in and they were so friendly and professional. That really starts your morning out well. I took donuts to my coworkers this morning. I also tried the Boudin Kalache. The bread is super fresh and soft and it's LOADED with boudin! They do not skimp on the boudin. It's delicious and just melts in your mouth. Their donuts are the same. Very fresh and soft and have a wonderful flavor. I will be back and I recommend this shop to everyone. I rarely buy donuts here in town because none of the local shops can even compare to other cities....until now. Try them! read more
