The best part of it will be knowing these wonderful pieces are not priced outrageously. The owner explained where the pieces came from (all over the country) and what they were used for, and the wood they were made of. If there was a re-creation of an antique, he explained that as well and gave us a few pointers on how to make the distinction. Twice Touched also carries some specialty things -- lamps, vases, wall art and the like. It was a visual and tactile treat from start to finish. We could have spent a lot more time browsing this shop and look forward to a return visit. Someday.

Buyers beware! I purchased a rather expensive water pearl necklace that turned out to be a dud. I gifted the necklace to my sister-in-law, who wore it for a total of two hours (in my presence) during which time a link broke. Upon my request to have it replaced, the owners refused and said it was in "perfect condition" when I bought it. I took it to our reputable Panowicz's Jeweler and found out it was made of a flimsy "base" metal. To replace with a quality link was $45. It would have cost Whispering Pines $60 to replace the water pearl strand-portion of the necklace. I cannot believe they could not afford to back their product! I frequent Red Lodge, but as with Ms. Reinsch's review on Facebook, they are unrelenting and rude. I too will never shop there again!

There were two that we liked and finally chose the one, telling the girl on the floor which one we wanted. It was a great situation since a family member in another town could go to their local Haskell to help pay for the couch as a gift. We were even lucky enough to get a discount since we were not financing. Arrangements were made for delivery in two days, the couch was paid for at another location, and delivery was on its way. When the couch arrived it was the wrong couch, that was $100 less than the one that we had chose. The girl had written down all the wrong information and had the wrong couch delivered. It was handy because it was local and I could go back over and correct the error. However, When I went back to the store to show her the correct couch that I wanted and to make arrangements for that to be delivered and the other one removed, the girl then asked for me to pay the difference in the couch that she was incorrect in ordering and made no attempt at trying to make it right other than to say I thought you wanted the other couch repeatedly. The manager stood right there corrected it on the invoice and also did not make any gesture towards trying to make anything right or make this easy on me. As a result of their error I was out an additional $150 which included the increase in the couch and a $35 removal fee of my couch, and the couch exchange was to occur the following day which was a Saturday forcing me to change all of my plans for the weekend because of their error. It wasn't until I pushed the issue and asked that they do something to make this right that she waived the $35 removal fee. The following day they showed up with a new couch an hour and a half later than what they told me making me again late for the my plans I had to already reschedule. I was very disappointed in the way the staff addressed the situation and will not be shopping there again unless there is different staff or different policy in place. I was also very disappointed in the manager who stood there during the entire exchange, and I knew personally, she never said a word to me. So much for shopping locally and getting Hometown service. Next time I will go out of town.

don't beleive all the complaints, as i shop here regularly, i find all the employees friendly, the…read morestore well stocked and very tidy and clean. i have read some of the reviews full of complaints, and do not believe them. this the cody, wyoming walmart is the cleanest walmart i have ever been in. i have purchased and had tire installed at this store too and they were professional and efficient. i have done pick-up and delivery with the cody walmart and if something is short they make good correct the error. we are not in the salinas valley so maybe not the perfect veggies, but to get better you might have to drive to the suburbs of san francisco fresno, or sacramento. this is not kansas city, or san jose or compton. customers and employees are neighbors and the store does not get trash as in other walmarts.
