Where do I begin....should it be with the apple crumble gelato, with actual apple crumble in it? Or…read moreshould it be with the fact on my first visit I got to sample 5 different flavours? There was a lot of excitement locally, awaiting the opening of Moochie B's and they have not dissapointed us. As a big fan of all things sugary, I knew this was somewhere I would have to visit, particularly as it's a 5 minute walk from where I work and the fact the interior is pink! Inside there's a kind of American Diner feel, which I love. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Everyone who knows me knows that customer service is VERY important to me and again I was not dissapointed here. I also love the fact that this is a family run business. I heard on the grapevine that the manager/owner went to Italy to train to make gelato! Talking to him, it's clear he has a passion for it and was happy to discuss how the gelato was made and new flavours he was exploring. I asked about whether he would be doing diary free ice cream and was told that he was experimenting with this, but would also be offering sorbet at some point too. This made me VERY happy. The milkshakes seem particularly popular, but on my most recent visit, I had a fresh made waffle and gelato. Strawberries and cream come as standard, although I did not partake. The gelato was so creamy and full of flavour and the waffle was huge, so I was a very happy person.

Great dessert place. I love the creativity , the cakes, gelatos and shakes are amazing. Staff are…read morepolite, the wait for waffles is annoying sometimes, but...they're sooooo worth it!!

Brand new addition to west Bromwich, this dessert shop is the second shop thats the little dessert…read moreshop has opened. (Original shop in Wolverhampton). Everything inside represents luxury from the decoration the furniture. It's very plush. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed. The staff here are friendly but also seem to give the cold shoulder at times. They have separate male and female toilets, with a disabled toilet and baby changer room. The interior has been done to a high standard with different types of seating for different groups of people. If you don't fancy something straight off the menu you can go up to the main cake stands or ice cream counter. That way you can see what you're going to have and make a decision that way. All deserts come with a choice of cream, ice cream or warm custard. Some deserts even come with melted chocolate, jam or double cream. A lot of choice of what to hace on the menus, from waffles, crepes, sundaes, cake etc. I was a little disappointed by the portion sizes and my experience was short lived. Tap water is free and needed with consuming so much sugar but milkshakes and other drinks are on offer too. Sadly they don't have a car park so you'd need to walk there or park on road outside after 6pm. It has a very good location being in the centre of West Brom town.

I've heard of bubble tea before and in honesty tried it from here before but being so excited yet…read moreinexperienced I probably picked a really bizarre combination. Lychee juice with tapioca balls - yay... The lychee juice was really nice but not with the pudding balls. This time around I went for black tea, cold with the tapioca balls (I'd heard those are the best ones) and I was happy with this combo - don't mess with the classics. The staff were friendly, the place clean and the menu extensive. Frozen yoghurt also available which sounds great in the summer. A point to make though is those tapioca balls are really really filling. I felt like I'd eaten a meal after I was done so maybe give them a miss if you've just eaten.

I've collected stamps on their loyalty card and had a free drink already! They have a great range of bubble teas, bubble coffees and the slush ones (which I haven't tried yet) as well as frozen yoghurt etc. Today I bought the Rose bubble coffee and had the tapioca pearls and coffee jelly. You can have drinks cold (with or without ice), warm or even hot. My drink was sweet but nice. You do need a spoon to get the tapioca and jelly out at the end... I think I need to perfect my suck action ha ha You can use your NUS card to get a discount and they do charge a fee if you pay by card.

I wrote a comment on twist cafe's page asking if they had loyalty cards, and they replied yes! There was only one member of staff in there and I didn't see anything I could buy for lunch so I went for a fruity bubble tea. I chose pineapple then asked if he could make a layered drink, which he said he could mix more flavours in but they wouldn't be layered in colours like my wish of a rainbow! Ha ha so I said it was fine, just do what you can. He also said I could choose up to three different bubbles or jelly so I chose three! You can get 10% off with a student card and as I said they have a loyalty card. The drink was nice, refreshing and the bubbles and jelly were nice as I don't normally like popping bubbles but these were good. I prefer the chewy tapioca balls but they can be filling so this way it wasn't so bad! I usually buy bubble tea from meecha in the bull ring but I will buy from twist cafe again if I'm this side of town! I must try the frozen yoghurts next time!!

I love bubble tea but to be honest, it just wasn't the place it made out to be…read more I went in with a discount voucher, so I could save a few pennies to try the items there, however I just wasn't impressed. First of all, I can't stress enough how stuffy and humid the shop is. I just don't understand how so much heat is generated once you walk into the shop. I really do think it gives an uncomfortable vibe. So I ordered a pineapple fruity bubble tea, which was recommended by the staff there. I must admit it was a good recommendation but it just wasn't enough to impress me considering I'm using places such as Meecha, Cha Time, Cafe Chino and Happy Lemon to benchmark. The takoyaki just wasn't worth the time, despite the nice presentation. It was like something you bought at a supermarket and heated up in the microwave (very lacklustre) Overall, I think there needs to be improvements as it wouldn't fit into my top 3 bubble tea shops. Good but there's better options.

I love the way it is so sweet and cold, yet it fills you up like inside and makes you happy. This shop has gelato, the Italian favourite which is similar to ice cream but contains less dairy fat. I went for the raspberry flavour, and it was something to write home about. That's why I have come on to Yelp. They have a large selection of ice creams to take away or just devour on the premises, the flavours are all delicious, mostly traditional, and a few of them are creations from the minds behind the shop. I love the mint iced cream they serve here. I have always been a fan. Many people dislike minty chocolate goodness, but for those that appreciate it I would say that this is some of the best you are likely to taste.
