I really can't comment on the quality of their work as it won't show up until later, but he did spend a lot of time trying to sell me additional services, advising me that it would be $149 additional if I didn't sign up for it right away. He reminded me of a used car salesman. I ran into a friend who was familiar with them and he had a similar opinion. I would not hire them again. PS I could have done the work they did in about an hour if I was 20 years younger. It cost almost $400.

I contacted them using their webform, and unfortunately,.. before reading other reviews regarding this fee that they charge and ended up passing on using them when they contacted me. There's many other excellent electricians in the area that won't charge you a penny to come by and with no obligations to use them. That's the way we ended up going and we'll still have the excellence of service at a very competitive price. I'm sure Lloyd's is a great company and this review is not suggesting otherwise, but, do you want to spend $149 to end up not even using them? Lloyd's might consider a new policy for 2025, ..."your $149 estimate fee will be credited to your work", in-other-words, if you went with using Lloyd's, they would credit you that $149 back. Sadly, that is not their policy. Yet.

    After professional visits from both a plumber and an electrician and over 2 hours of interrogation…read moreby Nausia and Clifford at this companies "Pre-screening" center I was assured the product was under warranty and was allowed to speak to someone from their support. I was in tears before I was even allowed to speak to someone interested in helping. Lisa, helped me trouble shoot the problem for 10 minutes and told me I must purchase a $150 non-refundable part as her best guess at a fix. Too bad for me if she is wrong and at 2PM mountain time they are closed for the weekend. Despite the fact that the product failed within a year, the time to bring out an electrician and plumber cost me my warranty period and an entire day, $150.00 and no more hot water than when I started. I will never buy from this company again and warn anyone else to purchase an instant hot water heater from a reputable company. While Lisa was nice, it was clear to me that she hears the exact same complaints all day long and there is nothing she can do about it. Beware!

While there are a few good ones Like Edward, and Mark K., most of the other tech support people are like Rick the P***K, they do not honor their warranty. It is supposed to be 10 years on the heating elements period per the literature that comes with the unit. However if you call 5 times you will get 5 different answers with varying degrees of sarcasm and rudeness. for a $900 water heater to have this kind of customer service its inexcusable. Bosch really purchased a lemon from these folks in the Northeast. The whole customer service team is head by Lisa Cameron who thinks she is the smartest person on the telephone line when your lucky , enough to get her on the phone, and that only after calling 20 times and having your call screened like your bering interrogated. by the CIA. These units break down and are very temperamental. This is why the support is so much a part of the purchase. Move on and stay away from this brand. Titan water heater, from Niagra Industries of Miami Florida is a fraction of the cost and may not be as state of the art, but at least they stand behind their product. They answer their calls, return your messages, and want to keep you happy. Ms. Lisa Cameron, managed by Dave Tinkins are allergic to good customer service. It simply just doesn't exist for them. Shame on you Bosch Powerstar.
