I knew this would be good because there was a big group of people from the airbase and that's always a good sign. They seem to make the most out of their lunch time. It was a long line but the counterman handled it with great speed. The guy in front of me comes in to buy sausage and fresh mozzarella to make his own homemade calzones. I chose the full size italian beef and the other sandwich we got was mostly veggies and mozzarella(I can't remember the name). While we waited for the sandwiches we perused the baked goods and the italian market with tons of sauces, frozen foods, cheese and delicious baked goods. The sandwiches were huge and delicious. Even as a big a guy as I am I could have done with the half size, but I did end up eating the second half for dinner. The sandwiches are on soft, delicious hoagie rolls. The italian beef was stuff with beef and gardinera. The juices of the meat and the gardinera leaks into the botoom of your tray and almost makes a french dip like sauce. This place is fantastic!!!

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt inviting, and the service was genuinely outstanding--friendly, attentive, and the kind that makes you want to come back. I ordered the stuffed cabbage and the "Russian roulette" pierogies, and both were fantastic. The stuffed cabbage was rich, hearty, and perfectly seasoned--clearly made with care and tradition. The pierogies were a fun surprise, each one a little different, and all packed with flavor. It's the kind of dish that keeps you engaged with every bite. Even the black coffee stood out--smooth, bold, and exactly what you want alongside a satisfying meal. Altogether, Red Rock Deli delivers not just great food, but a genuinely enjoyable experience. Highly recommended if you're looking for something a little different and truly comforting.

Kielbasa and kiszka; fresh-made foods like pierogi and gołąbki; bottled mineral waters with labels in Cyrillic alphabet. The grocery is a plenitude of cookies and sweets, pickles, jams, bread, and frozen food from the same cuisines, in addition to pantry ingredients, like flour and seasonings, that are essential for authentic results at home. Then there's the cafe. Oh, the cafe! Hand-made food: pierogi, borscht, "Polish menudo" (a must-try!), gołąbki (stuffed cabbage), schnitzel, and two-fisted sandwiches, including a real authentic Chicago-style hot dog. Speaking of... if you dropped me right into The Loop, I couldn't find a better Italian beef sandwich. Step aside, Portillo's! (IYKYK) Red Rock can be a little tricky to find--turn east off San Mateo at the Prospect stoplight--but it is so worth that momentary bother! Once you've eaten there, you'll never forget where it is.

There were only 3 children signed up for the "Kids Clay workshop", so there was plenty of opportunity for the teacher to provide one-on-one attention to them. There was not much direction or instruction from the teacher on how to prepare the clay or proper painting technique to use on clay. She did demonstrate how to attach items to clay by scraping. For this age, we felt there should have been more instruction on designing of the objects and directions on how to paint the clay, so when fired, the color would be more vibrant. The color of the completed pieces was very washed out, almost if they had been just painted with water color. The teacher said the project would be ready in 7 to 10 days and that we would receive a text when the pieces were ready to pick up. It took 21 days and we were never notified for pick-up. We had to personally check 3 times to see if project had been completed and was ready to pick up. Very disappointed in the service after paying over $80 for the class.
