She did an electric acupuncture on me besides a terrific massage. I'm too bad for much help but it helped as much as possible. I'd never heard of such a treatment. I recommend it. I live about 45 miles from Tulsa and wasn't looking for someone so far away but after that first visit and the expert treatment done on my neck, I was hooked. I no longer have headache, my range of movement is great and he took time to explain everything in great detail. l felt like he genuinely cared about easing my pain. During one visit he asked how I was doing and I told him that my neck was doing great but I was having trouble lifting a gallon of milk with my left arm. It hurt around my elbow and forearm so much that I had to use both arms to get the milk back in the refrigerator. He immediately started work on my arm, which surprised me because I thought it was an age related thing. After two treatments on my arm I can now lift a gallon of milk using just the one arm with no pain at all. I also want to say what a great office assistant he has in Brennan. Before I saw Dr. Griswold she sat down with me and made me feel at ease. She never fails to ask about my kids or grandkids and always has a smile on her face. A very special lady! With so many businesses severely lacking in customer service, it's nice to see someone who takes the time and effort to speak pleasantly with the patients. Two thumbs up! There are definitely some things that are worth going out of your way for.

They expanded the business to surrounding Tulsa communities, like Jenks and Owasso, to reach their patient base. I've always felt I got the best adjustments from Dr Matt but did get adjusts by the other doctors when he was out or it was more convenient to go to the closer clinic to my home. They appear to have invested heavily to train and support the new chiropractors before they placed them in the expanded facilities. They gained experience and training and used 918Chiropractic as a stepping stone (such is life). I'm sure Dr Matt will have other well trained doctors to fill the shoes of Dr John and Dr Hunter that moved own to blaze their own trail.

Upon calling I discovered she had recently passed away. But I was told I was speaking with Dr Shadé. I'd read about her on their website. She said it was certainly up to me but many of Leah's patients had turned to her. She explained they had a spa you could enjoy, etc. So I made an appointment. Next day was available. I don't know what to say. I'd read the reviews. No alarms went off, but let me put it this way -- my husband did not want me to go in alone. The parking lot was deserted, the building not in good repair. There was not a person in sight. But the reviews were okay. . . clients praised the place. I met Dr Shadé and filled out paperwork. Besides our pleasant conversation, it was crickets. Not a soul around. That's rather spooky. She invited me to use the "spa" which, as described by another reviewer, was actually a very dark steam shower, I presume, as I backed away, it was awfully small. As described by others there were no "relaxing and calming scents, sounds and laid back atmosphere. To the variety of teas to help yourself to". Sounds like what you'd expect from a spa. Not the frenzy of trying to get the phones fixed I encountered. She proceeded with my treatment with great care. We talked a lot as she worked the needles. For a first-timer it was perfectly pleasant. She's a very nice person. Knowing how bad off I am she did a deep massage as well. I honestly hate to point out that the place is in shambles. I hung my clothes on a broken suit rack. There were crock pots on the floor, etc. The place is just a worn out mess. I regret that I did not take pictures. If you find happiness here I'm supportive of you. I'll stick with Utica Ihloff for my spa and perhaps find acupuncture elsewhere.

She took me back to the room and I got settled in. She asked about my areas of pain or soreness and then began the massage.
