I had never had a massage but injured my shoulder and was told by my physical therapist that therapeutic massage (different from a spa massage) would be helpful. I felt intimidated by the idea (I don't really like people I don't know touching me), but as a nurse I also felt committed to the treatment plan and I knew massage would help promote good blood flow. So I scheduled an initial massage with Kim Draper and then a follow up a week later with Ally. I have had ongoing problems with my neck and shoulders and Kim did an amazing job releasing the knots in those areas. A week later, as suspected it was beginning to tighten again as I used alternate muscles to brace the injury I have and Ally continued the good work. The two massage therapists were excellent. Kim's room is darker and quieter. Ally's is brighter. Both therapists are calm but cheerful people that made me feel at ease even when I was initially uncomfortable with this type of situation. And, both made me feel better. It was a good recommendation on the part of my physical therapist and I would recommend either Kim or Ally. I suspect the other therapists in this practice are good as well. This is a professional practice and these two people in particular have years of experience. read more

I have been going to Ally for six months for massage therapy for my back. I have chronic back problems dating back to an injury in high school. For years I have been trying to increase the strength in my back, and Ally has helped me to increase the level of exercise that my back can tolerate. I first went to HTM through a Groupon last January and had my first massage with Kim Draper. This was clearly one of the best things I ever did! It was such a wonderful experience that I became a regular and see Kim for an hour every month. Prior to my visit to HTM I experienced chronic back pain as well as other arthritic discomforts which had begun to impact my flexibility. I had my first massage today with Ally Cruikshank and it was awesome. I had right neck and should pain for almost 4 months. I have been to Physical therapy for a couple of times and it didn't help much. Margi Hardoon is by far the best at her job. I get a deep tissue massage from her about every 6 weeks and it does wonders.
