I was in absolute shock to see the sheer volume of boots that this place offered. From the road, it didn't look so big! I took a photo of only a partial amount of the boots they offered here. There were so many that my niece took well over an hour to go through them all just to pick out a few favorites. This place also offers apparel and belt buckles. All of those sort of things. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and chatted with my father-in-law for a long time while us ladies shopped. There is also a clearance room located upstairs. Whatever Cox doesn't have, they seem to be able to order it in, and almost always for a very competitive price. Beyond that, the staff are outstanding and they really know their stuff. I suppose that comes from being active with horses themselves! Another nice aspect of Cox is that one of the ladies does leather repair in house. She fixed a problem with the fender on my saddle, and created custom leather straps for my wife's Aussie. The work is fantastic, and the turnaround time was short - my saddle was repaired in just a couple of days. If you're looking for a great tack store, you have to check out Cox. There are many more stables that are ultra modern and much newer and better kept but, I will say this my girls love it here. Its almost as if they have all become family with everyone else here. Sandy is a good teacher and has help my girls develop their skills and she cares about the girls. She gives the girls the opportunity to learn everything from cleaning horse poop to Jumping in Shows. They've learned more than just riding and taking care of horses they are learning responsibility and camaraderie as well and with some good people.
