We were told it was the engine and would cost thousands of dollars to repair. The car was there for a week while we, out of state parents, were deciding how to proceed. We decided to tow it back to Ohio and were hit with surprise storage fees that had not been disclosed (The car was towed there... So they may have a sign posted, but storage fees x4 days were never disclosed via written or verbal communication). Back in Ohio, we had the car checked out by a trusted mechanic (who we would've used to repair the engine if that had been his recommendation). It is not the engine. It was loose lug nuts on a tire. At best this is incompetence. At worst, they are criminally ripping people off.
