I own a house 12 miles from here in Suwanee that rarely if ever goes out of power, less than five times since 2017! This is not an overall power issue, this is an issue here. they recently filled up to nead capacity, since then there have been consistent power outages weekly this summer. It's infuriating to have to consistently either be out of power, cable, and Internet and AC in the summer. A couple months ago half of the entire building didn't work for 4 to 5 days, residence having to run extension cords and borrow from others for the entire week. Unacceptable! Even if it's only out a short amount of time, having to reset all of the clocks, Internet, modems, etc. weekly or multi times a week is infuriating. Today, I just reset my clocks from two days ago, didn't bother because I figured another one was coming and sure enough three hours later power's back out! I'm sure they will blame it on Georgia Power, however, there is definitely a coincidence that it started happening frequently after they hit near capacity.

We moved here to save money to purchase a home, but it was a bad move. The apartment or the carpet was not cleaned, after we were told it would be, the countertop in the kitchen is busted, the dishwasher was not secured, so when I opened it to load the dishes it knocked into my 3 yr old, the bathroom countertops have burn marks all across the top, the toilet handle was broken, and then the toilet was leaking, then parts of the toilet had to be replaced, the patio door was broken. The shower heads and handles have dirt and soap scum on them. So when I complained to Tracy, the apartment complex manager, she stated, "That some things aren't going to be fixed, that this is why they are notated on the move-in sheet, so I won't be charged for the damage." What? Is she serious? And they expect people to pay $900-$923 of their hard earned money to live here? I have complained to the property management with no results, which is let me out of my lease. My next step is to contact HUD, I have pictures! If others won't speak up about this place, I will be their voices! Someone will do something about this place, even if it takes me my whole lease term to get somenthing done! This is ridiculous! He returned again with no call. He fixed it and replaced something. My real issue is lack of communication and he threw my stuff in the laundry on the floor and didn't pick it up. I've been here 17 years and he's the first maintenance person I've ever given a bad review. I had issues this summer with him trying to fix my AC. Whenever I call the office with a work order or issue/question I have to call at least 5 or 6 times or more until someone actually picks up the phone and even then every time the answer is "I'm not sure I'll have to have my manager call you back and she's not in today" The same happens when I walk in the office- there is rarely someone around to help me and no one can ever answer my question on the spot. They changed the way utilities were delivered- they now use OnePoint technologies, which added almost $60/month onto our utilities. No notice! The gym is gorgeous. We didn't swim in the pool because it was dirty + there were people constantly playing loud music, smoking and drinking. Just gross. We've only lived here 4 months and the staff especially, maintenance are by far the quickest and most delightful at responding. I would never stand for any slander about this team for they are so kind and would do whatever it is they could to find a solution to anyone's problem. They are very creative with their many events that they have to keep the community together. They reach out to local vendors and companies to keep their engagement high. As far as our unit goes, We are absolutely obsessed with our sunroom and this is by far the most spacious apartment for the price. The walls are practically soundproof, the closet is huge and the rooms are so spacious. If you've actually lived in other apartments, you can tell the difference between the standard at the Harrison versus others. We love this diverse, amazing community and only plan to leave when we build our dream home.

We immediately contacted management who told us to call pest control, so we did. well, the roaches haven't gone away. the exterminator has come 3 times and that's "all management can do". According to the health department any amount of roaches is unhealthy to be around- because they carry a multitude of diseases. My fiancé has now had to live in a friends house the LAST TWO MONTHS because his apartment is so bad. We've thrown away food, clothes, towels etc. because the roaches won't go away. On top of that we've sent emails, pictures, and called multiple times- BUT THEY DO NOT CARE! All they want is your money, they DO NOT hold up their side of the lease... which is to make sure residents are in a SAFE area!!!! My fiancé has wasted 2 months of rent ($3500) and hasn't even been able to live in his own apartment because these people won't be humane and DO SOMETHING. Obviously spraying isn't working since they've sprayed 3 times and there hasn't been ANY improvement . The apartments have a serious problem.
