Plus our yard has sum challenges. Such as wet ground in the spring and summer with normal to above rainfall. Also the Charter and telephone utility boxes within 6 feet and our neighbors property. We scheduled an appointment and was told late June or July depending on weather. They realized we were in a dry patch of weather this early summer and came in early June. Kudos for remembering our situation. Paradise Gardens Nursery showed up with a good handful of very professional crew that new the exact job that needed to be done. The clean up after removal was top notch as we had to do no clean up either. They are a local service and I highly recommend them for a tree removal service.

I saw a young man walking behind the thatching machine at a very brisk walk. I told the other guy that he is walking to fast for the thatcher to do a good job. The machine needs time to work properly. He then slowed down and was still not pulling thatch out of the lawn. At that point I figured the machine was set for speed not performance. They offered to rethatch the lawn. I told them not to bother because the machine is not working properly. I told him I would call his boss. I called and spoke with the owner. I told him they only pulled two garbage cans of thatch out of my lawn and the machine was not set deep enough to work properly. He told me they offered to do it again and that I declined. I told him they could thatch the lawn five more times and it wouldn't make a difference. I asked him to come out to the house and take a look at the service his company provided. He flat out told me NO. $295.00 for two garbage cans full of thatch is a little pricy. Most people don't know what they are buying or what to expect with these services and the service providers know it.
