My cat is a sweet and cuddly cat on the every day basis since the day we got her which has been 3 years already . but about a day or two ago she randomly attacked my mom which was super out of the ordinary for her and i researched online that it's possible for cats to become aggressive if they are in pain somewhere in their body. so when i came in here i told them i wanted to check if she was hurting anywhere that was causing her to act like this all of a sudden and that i wanted a trim on her nails. I told the vet my cat is pretty angry when she's at the vet. which isn't out of the ordinary for cats to act like that in the vet if you know anything about animals. I told him this incase he wanted to wear some kind of protective gear like gloves, use tools, give her medicine to calm her down, or get more people to help him. He told me "i don't like aggressive animals and i don't have patience for them" which is insane because that's literally gonna happen in your job. and then said "animals are just animals to me" which is CRAZY because my vet is the last person i wanna hear that from all trust around my cat GONE! every vet should have a big heart for animals!! anyone saying he loves animals in these reviews is full of lies after all!! He gave me 4 options which were insane to recommend to someone so soon. 1. he told me if he tried to grab my aggressive cat she could DIE which im sure has happened before but my baby isn't feral she is simply scared. and then he proceeds to say "i have killed cats before in the past because of this" CRAZY!! which im sure animals can get scared and possibly have a heart attack and die but there's medicine for those reasons at a vet. 2. me and my brother hold the cat down while he cuts her nails which is dumb because i literally am paying for THEM TO DO IT since i wasn't able to and why do i have to do the work if i took her to the vet for that reason. 3. declaw my cat. NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS.... declawing a cat is so painful for them and possibly give them permanent issues for the rest of their life's and just inhumane in general!! i will never declaw one of my fur babies even if she's a full indoor cat. 4. put her down! entire time he was being so rude and showed no empathy for me or my baby. he gave me and my family time to think with these choices and i immediately started crying when he left the room (which he seemed very annoyed with) because in a simplified way he just told me "help me do it, she dies, or we cut part of her paws off" as a solution. i told him we needed to go home and think about it and he just said "go home y'all don't want help" entire time so unprofessional, rude, and absolutely no love towards cat's whatsoever. I understand dealing with an aggressive animal whether it's a dog or cat is very difficult for the vets but you didn't pay to go to university, graduate, and open a business and expect every animal to be sunshine, rainbows and kisses. what kind of vet doesn't have the tools to deal with animals in need and un top of that straight up admitting you have no real love towards them. every time i tried to tell him my cat is a very sweet girl normally and that her being like this is not normal which i repeated multiple times!!! every single time he just tried to make it seem like my cat (house cat not a damn tiger) was feral and not worth having as a pet anymore if she's aggressive even tho i said multiple damn times she's not normally aggressive and she's a sweet cat! i left and didn't pay because my cat didn't even get out the damn cage. and i will not be paying for 0 service, attitude, and no damn realistic advice will never be coming back again so upsetting.

I felt a little dismissed in some convos but I brushed it off because they were easy to get into, and did answer most of my questions. My husband and I moved and had a final appointment with them for shots and all the yearly things then a few months later we noticed our pup had really bad breath and her feet were itching very bad so we found a highly rated vet in our new area...turns out our sweet baby had a gum disease that had been developing over YEARS (I took her yearly if not 6 months to get check ups) and a skin disease as well. they felt bad for us so they did all the tests to confirm for free and only charged us for the visit. she has had to get 21 teeth extracted as a result and luckily her skin disease is cleared up from their treatments! i'm so disappointed in CACC, they always check her teeth and gums and have said they were fine in the past (even 2 months before we went to this new place), same with her skin, they just always gave an allergy shot. they are a good vet if your pet is sick, but as far as preventative and other treatments I would suggest going somewhere else.

Called to see if I could walk in with 5 kittens who needed subcutaneous fluids after recent neuter…read more(kittens not eating much or drinking) and was told they did not do that but would charge $140 litter fee plus app $325.00 (for the fluids)... so I tried calling other places then called their sister company Rowlett Veterinary Clinic who also checked and stated they could do the $140 litter fee. I ended up making appointment at Liberty Grove but noticed that they charged me a consultation fee of $77.85 for each kitten which totaled way more than the $140 so I called a total of three times and was finally told that if I was keeping all kittens I had to pay higher fee... and then after was also told that they charged more since they were sick (although the dr said they were all fine but I wanted fluids just to be safe and also paid to have three injected with anti nausea meds).... Even though my initial phone call had all the details and was given the quote of $140.00. I am upset that I was lied to. Update: The practice manager, Cody Boyd, reached out to me this morning after my review. He apologized for the miscommunication and issued a refund of $233.55. I appreciate that he took the time to look into the situation and make things right. My concerns about the original quote versus the charges still stand, but I do want to acknowledge that they followed up and corrected part of the bill.

We again made the unfortunate decision to let our sweet girl go. Dr. Hoag was honest and sincere in letting us know our options, answering call after call from me with new questions in the days leading up to her appointment. Yesterday, we found our lab not wagging her tail, which is highly unusual for a dog diagnosed with happy tail. Dr. Hoag's office got us seen in a moments notice. Even when our lab started becoming aggressive due to the pain, Dr. Hoag kept her composure, ensuring our lab felt safe. While the X-ray found nothing, Dr. Hoag took her time to explain what could be the issue, our treatment plan, and next steps if we don't see improvements in the next week. My best friend is out of town and we are dog sitting. Before she left, she told me that if anything happened to her older dog, to please take him to Liberty Grove, as she knew from our experiences that Dr. Hoag and the vets at Liberty Grove , that we would be given the best treatment and information to help them make an informed decision. The compassion at Liberty Grove is unmatched.

Dr. Norris recommended a specific chew for my dog after his surgery which I bought directly from a store (they never tried to sell me on anything), he recommended the bi annual/annual shot to prevent heart worms versus the monthly pill because I was honest about how that was more practical for me. Eventually my pup developed a tumor that took him down pretty quick. Although we tried a few different types of medicines, we had to make the decision to put him down. Dr. Norris and his staff were kind and thoughtful during this process. It was extremely hard, but they couldn't have been more respectful of the situation. I highly recommend BTAC if you are looking for a knowledgeable, quality and practical veterinarian.

I wasn't ready to let my puppy go, and so I told them to go ahead and schedule everything. They're very easy to communicate with and reply relatively quickly for a busy medical center. My dog is also grumpy at the vet, so I always called ahead and made sure to mention it. They have muzzles of all sizes, so I would muzzle her every time we went just in case. According to the vets and vet techs, she's a good girl! But I just want to keep everyone safe and comfortable. When it came time to get her leg amputated, Dr. Goodwin was the only vet who was able to do it. Dr. Goodwin was also the one to diagnose her, and she was there every step of the way. She kept in touch with me and updated me very often!
