I asked the owner of Montague Tree Farms if they did gardening services. she told me they did, so…read moreI hired them for spring and fall clean up and weeding a few times during the gardening season. they came out and did one job, then I had to call again and again to come out every month or two to do weeding. originally I was told they would put me a schedule to do this so I wouldn't have to call and seemed like beg them to come out. this was during about a two year period. the two girls sent out to do these services were great. they were helpful and did a good job. however every time I made arrangements with the owner, she miscommunicated what we agreed to and talked about to her staff. this past year i had them mulch some of my flower gardens. after those spaces were mulched, I discovered they were infected with asiatic beetles that came out of the ground at night and stripped every flower of its petals and foliage. the week before that took place, I had the owner out to look over the situation and we agreed they could be sprayed with insecticidal pesticide. I said great, send out the person authorized to spray right away, I informed her we would be on vacation and they had our permission to do this while we were gone. we got home two weeks later to find a bottle of insecticide sitting on our porch and my plants were destroyed by the beetles. I asked multiple times for them to still spray to eliminate future problems but they didn't ever do it. the mulch wasn't treated (which I had not known) . I would not recommend this business to anyone.

The bouquet I ordered would have been worth the price, the one sent wasn't worth half that much. I often order from Eastern/Huisman's, but I won't be doing so again. I spoke to a gal at the floral shop and expressed my disappointment. They sent out a new bouquet to replace the one that was poorly done.
