David has previously faxed a script over within 5 minutes to a chemist for me so that I am able to receive the necessary eye drops. He understands my issue and is always takes his time to help me. I would recommend this place to anybody who is having issues with their eyes. Also, to Julius C who has reviewed 4 other optometrists including David Stephensen and given them all 1 Star each; I don't think it's them mate, it's you.

He also tried selling me hospital funded glasses that he keeps in an old dirty shoe box with no lid in some bottom drawer looks like glasses never get to see the light of day they looked broken old or second hand made me feel worse than I olready did especially when you can walk into a chemist and their cheapest glasses get better treatment. After leaving OPSM (a big optometrist chain), I searched for some place with a more personal service. Eyecare Plus in Jindalee is the place to go! Geoff is the optometrist who runs and owns this clinic. His lovely wife and son work at reception. It is a truly family run operation, which is what I love about it. It's one of those places where you walk in and they know your name and make time for small catch-ups. Eyecare Plus has a large range of frames to choose from so you'll never need to go elsewhere. They stock all the respectable brands in eye care and have a great range. The customer service is the best I've seen so far compared to the other optometrists I've been to because you get personal service. Geoff always makes an effort to explain things clearly and goes that extra step further with providing more images of your eyes to get you to understand what's happening. I love seeing these images of my eyes, it's weird being able to see that much detail of what's in your eyeball- it looks crazy in there! If you want to go to an optometrist you can rely on and get amazing service, then Eyecare Plus is where I suggest you get your eyes checked. It's also located very close to the Jindalee DFO, so you can also go shopping before or after your check up!

I thought that was amazing that someone would remember a client after being gone for so long. I would recommend this optometrist to anyone in need of glasses. The Optometrist is amazing as well and explains everything going on and what causes the changes in eye sight etc. You leave this store knowing that you have had the best care and the best advice on care for your eyes and your glasses.

I Contact surprised me with their selection of frames, which were all different and individual and well within the budget. The staff were very understanding of how much umming, ahhing and second (sometimes third) opinions must by necessity go into choosing the pair of frames that will grace the top of your nose for the next few years (hopefully avoiding being sat on). They patiently unlocked cabinets galore and let me try on dozens of frames until I finally settled on a white pair that I love and make me truly stand out from the crowd. They were ready with lenses within the week, cost only $200 altogether and are still going strong several sitting and standing accidents later.

So you can imagine my excitement at finding this OPTIKO store. (Just saying it out loud is fun.) I admit I betrayed my loyal Ray-bans many a time just for a fondle of their hand crafted frames. What I love about the store is the range of products on display from Cartier and Missoni to Dita. You can easily tell the amazing craftsmanship that has gone into making these unique designs. The store itself is also beautiful, the layout is simple and it really lets the products speak for themselves. If you are fortunate enough to be a fellow four eyes, I would get myself down to Tattersalls arcade pronto!
