I love that my bathroom, closet & kitchen are separate. The move in process was quick, efficient & inexpensive. The property manager Cait is amazing and that's really hard to find. Her professionalism and smile definitely keep positive energy in this place. The maintenance crew is always prompt and quick to fix any apartment issues. They are also very friendly so don't be afraid to say Hi! This property is pet friendly so don't be alarmed to see residents walking their furry friends in the area. The only concerns I have are that the security entry panel to buzz people in doesn't work & hasn't work for months . It may seem like something minor but for living on the main line you'd expect that one simple thing to be working. I mean who wants to have to go down to the lobby and open the door for every guest they have. Also I would recommend they change the hallway carpet, they are outdated & have a few stains that's not appealing. Other than that, I would definitely recommend a friend to check this place when looking to move to Ardmore! It's walking distance to everything including the train.

I had made an appointment over the phone a week in advance and when I got there the manager April told me that she thought I would be here by myself and not have another person. Weird welcome, but okay. She then told me "I don't have any one bedrooms to show you, I would have called but I thought you'd be by yourself so I was just going to show you a studio." I never once expressed interest in a studio, so really she should have called me either way, and I let April know that I said I would be having two tenants in my apartment when I made my appointment to begin with, to which she responded "you called our answering service in Utah and they're idiots" I don't see how this is my problem, and April never once apologized for any of this miscommunication. I asked her if there was a better number to call, she said "no, but I'm not always here and that's when the answering service picks up." so then I asked if there was a good time or day of the week to call and she said no. She offered to just show us the rest of the building. We viewed two areas of the building before April told me to move my car. When I went to move the car she asked if I would be coming back after (??) She was obviously unprepared and kept asking if we wanted to leave like she didn't even want us to be there. I don't know what kind of training these people have but they need some serious improvements. This was extremely inconvenient considering I currently live an hour away from these apartments and my boyfriend and I both took the day off just to see this place. Based on this experience I would never live here.

The strong pungent skunk like odor is not a gas leak or methane but drugs being smoked and combusted at night when the offices are closed. The carpet in my apartment when I first moved in was never swept and white powder like cocaine was coming out of it with the sweeper. This made me suspicious of drug users in the past. The apartment units below and complexes around me smoke pot and venting out the odors with their dryers and open windows/ doors all hours of the day and night and never leave down below. Things got so bad one holiday weekend that i called management because my entire unit was filled with it as the smoke alarms were going off from it. The management tried to blame me and say it was a gas leak from my unit. I had none with emergency repairman arriving seeing the gas heater was safe and working. It wasn't methane gas from a plumbing leak either when the plumber came out. They cover up the drugs and smoking DESPITE THE BAN ON SMOKING AND SIGNING IT IN THE LEASE calling the cops saying that it's me when they searched my unit and found nothing but the smell insider and outside. If you take a drive by after the office closes especially the weekends, then you will see and smell the drugs and smoke anytime between 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM. Don't even get me started on how people take 2 spots and block you out of parking the worst on the weekends just to shuffle the people in and out all night long.

However, when I rented in 2024-2025, the experience was completely different. I think it's the office management, led by Marissa, but probably also Kaiserman corporate office has changed. They have become non responsive to residents, and very defensive. There were also many problems with water lines and gas lines. I feel so sorry for families with young children having to go without for days at a time. And no refunds to anyone. It's sad, as there aren't many rentals in the area that accept dogs, and again, the location is fantastic. However, I am so glad to be out, and warn anyone considering the move, it all changes once you are a resident. The office is literally hostile. Except for Cat who seems competent and human. I hope Kaiserman will consider making her the manager. Maybe things would improve!

You have no ability to control the temperature in your apartment outside of the 3 settings on the combined AC/Heater that every unit has which is ultimately controlled by the building. The air is usually very humid and the building can often smell musty. There were also numerous occasions of foul odors coming from sink drains in my unit. Maintenance came in and said that it's possible that a small mouse may have crawled up a pipe and gotten stuck. This persisted until I ultimately moved out. Speaking of moving out, it was a hassle. You have to "schedule" your move so you are given access to a set of elevator keys, which makes sense. What doesn't make sense is how most of the slots on weekends were always taken so management would "strongly suggest" that you pick a different day. I still had a number of days on my lease with some small things left over in my unit they were taken by maintenance. Management ultimately reimbursed me for the value of what was taken but again, these are things that just shouldnt happen.

I'd like to start by saying I don't frequently review apartments and I'm not usually critical…read more However, my experience here was by far the worst I've had as a renter. Here's a few things you can expect living at the Rosemont Plaza: * The busiest, loudest intersection on the Main Line. The traffic outside the apartment is extremely heavy during rush hour, making it impossible to turn into the building. Prepare to wake up each day to the sounds of honking horns and good luck trying to turn in/out of the apartment at peak times. * Very poor insulation - the walls and windows are so poorly insulated you can hear a conversation going on in the parking lot even from the higher floors and all your neighbors. There's no privacy. * No central air or heating. Each apartment in Rosemont Plaza has a wall unit that only has heat in the winter months and cool air in the summer. There's no temperature controls, and if it's an unseasonably warm day from November-April, there's no way to cool down the apartment and the air becomes very dry. * Construction. During my time here, the construction was frequent on my floor to retrofit existing units. This was very loud and disruptive. Water was turned off often. There's no getting around the building's structural frame is very old and the renovations don't mask more fundamental problems with the AC, plumbing, insulation, and air quality. * Inflexible lease terms - I had to switch to a month-to-month lease because I wasn't sure when I would need to move. This came with both a rate hike, which is pretty typical, and the stipulation that I had to give 90 days notice to move. Why are you paying a premium for a month-to-month lease if it doesn't give you the flexibility to move? I've never encountered this before in any apartment contract. The whole process of terminating the lease was also about as pleasant as pulling teeth. I suggested a date well in advance of the 90-day notice that I'd like to vacate and was only later informed my proposal would require management company approval. They did not let me know how long this approval process might take. It took months of back and forth to finalize a date and this process seemed cumbersome at best and really time-consuming for everyone. I think this could have been avoided by being transparent with tenants from the outset of those pre-approved dates to vacate and have them select one. By the end I was just counting the days until I could leave. The icing on the cake was the security deposit was also returned a month late - Pennsylvania law requires that deposits be returned in 30 days. It was not. I honestly have no idea how this apartment complex received so many good reviews.
