100% recommend McQueeney Gun Club. I was in the market for a handgun last year. I had done my…read moreresearch and thought I knew I what I wanted but, when I walked into the sales side I was immediately intimidated by the military looking men behind the counter. Summoning my courage, I told them what I was looking for and why (brand / model and for personal protection). They were very helpful and even though they didn't have that one in stock, they helped me find a gun that was perfect for me. They recommended one specifically but suggested I rent a couple different ones to get the right feel and that sealed the deal. Never once did they make me feel like I was just a 'dumb girl'. They were respectful, informative and made a lifelong member that day. I bought a family membership and have never regretted the decision. I have read some negative comments about McQueeney re: high prices and rude treatment, but I'm here to tell you that I've never met a nicer group of people who make it their business to make everyone feel welcome. Do they have rules and regulations?? YES.... it's a gun range. Come on people... And if you are worried about $5 here or there for a gun or box of ammo, well maybe you should find another sport. They have a beautiful facility, knowledgeable staff and wide range of products and services. If you want a local top-notch facility, look no further.

Been a member for two years. I have used the pistol range sparingly but have used the 100 yd rifle…read morerange quite often. I have purchased a rifle and a suppressor and have had a trigger job and a cleaning done on an old rifle. There have been some delays, but there are also things to consider, i.e. childbirth, and the fact that their website is not only their stock but, also, their distributors. My grandfathers .270 had loading issues on the line and the RO called the smith and fixed it right there. My 1911 popped the roll pin out of the front sight post. I took it to the gunsmith, and he reseated it and flanged it...free of charge. If you want absolute perfection look to the Bible. If you want a gun range that will discuss load development; fix the minor issues immediately; and acknowledge you as a shooter trying to tighten up groups, then here you go. Never shot a bow here...I have a gun.

After placing said order, I went to the store to pick it up. Mind you, it wasn't a firearm, but a simple scope mount. Instead of fixing the issue, I was not provided any solutions, just a "you should cancel because our stock was wrong." No ship to home, no call when it is available, just a "you're out of luck" response. I don't think it's unreasonable to be treated more than just another number here to buy something. But instead, I just get brushed off to the side like I'm trash.
