Dr. Darling is truly one of a kind! I first went to see her after experiencing lingering pain following a long labor. From the moment I walked in, she was warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. She listened attentively, explained everything clearly, and tailored her care with so much compassion. After just a few sessions, I felt real relief for the first time in months. What really blew me away, though, was how she cared for my 6-month-old son. He had been crying every single time I put him in the car seat--it was heartbreaking and stressful. Dr. Darling was so gentle and patient with him during the session. Afterward, she even walked us out to the car just to make sure he tolerated the seat. And to my amazement--he didn't cry. Not once. And he hasn't cried in the car seat since! Dr. Darling is not just an amazing chiropractor, but a genuinely kind and thoughtful person. I'm beyond grateful for the care she gave to both me and my baby. Highly, highly recommend! read more

Amazing is all I could say. I couldn't sleep my shoulders, and lower back had constant pain and numb feeling. The first visit was so good I wanted to hug her after, but you can't expect one visit to make miracles you have to continue. Amazing care felt great after. Easy to get appointments and very flexible office receptionist is great as well read more

When I say I've seen almost every chiropractor in NELA and its surrounding areas, I'm not exaggerating. I'm so happy to have found Dr. Darling. Finding a woman chiro is challenging and then finding one that is exceptional is almost impossible. Dr. Darling got two ribs to move that others haven't been able to budge. I have been in pain for almost a year and after one adjustment yesterday it's like they were never injured. Run, don't walk to see her! read more

Dr. Darling saved me when I was in severe pain from my herniated disc causing me pain in my back, hips, and legs, not to mention my emotional state from being injured. Her office is so mellow and has an amazing roller table that helps to traction my spine. It feels so good. I'm confident in referring Dr. Darling clients, as everyone enthusiastically comments on her confident, gentle, and nurturing demeanor. Don't wait. Book now. read more

I have become a life long supporter. I arrived to meet Dr. Darling after a phone consult. She is excellent at asking the right questions and I cannot say enough about her genuinely humanitarian approach. I'm sure patients come to see her as I did, in pain for about one month, and looking for a solution. I know it is different for everyone but speaking for myself-it's like I told Dr. Darling--she pulled the thorn from this lion's paw. I'm able to start extending and detracting my claws again. I feel nothing short of lifelong admiration for her work and skills. The front office is comfortable and Mikala is fantastic at her job including running the therapy table. She is the right fit for this industry and an amazing part of the experience. I could say more and get everyone to go here... if you find Dr. Darling, you won't regret it. I drive the distance I do because it's worth it 100%. From the bottom of my heart to the top of my neck--Thank you Doc and Mikala. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Darling for a couple years now and she (as well as her office staff) have been so wonderful to me. Dr. Darling is friendly and kind, as well as very knowledgeable (especially about running injuries). I work in a stressful environment and I was having extreme knee and back pain from running and from work. She helped make the pain manageable with regular appointments as well as some at home exercises/stretches. I have since found out that some of my injuries are permanent, but I am able to manage the pain through maintenance. I would consider my chiropractor appointments with Dr. Darling a crucial part of that maintenance! Plus, she is so fun to talk to and her office is darling! Thank you Dr. Darling for your thoughtfulness, patience, and help these last couple years! read more

This spring, I booked an appointment with Dr. Darling after a decade+ of struggling with pelvic/lower back pain and alignment issues. There always seemed to be a valid reason for me to prioritize other things ahead of my body, but knowing what a world of difference she's made in the daily lives of both my younger sibling and husband, I finally went in, and it was both validating and joyful. During my assessment, she not only confirmed what a PT had suspected years prior about alignment issues in my hips, but she also quickly determined the angles/degrees each hip was out of alignment, which differed from each other. She walked me through what to expect during my adjustment and got to work, starting with my feet and working all the way up to my neck. After she'd completed all the adjustments, she had me stand up and asked me how I felt. I instantly felt a bit emotional because for the first time in decades, I felt like I was standing on solid ground again and everything felt more open, even, and sound. I wasn't tilting or compensating on one side, and my weight was centered. In these last few months since I started seeing Dr. Darling, I've experienced such relief and clarity, as well as a better awareness of my body. I'm learning to notice and articulate what feels 'off' and discern where pain is stemming from, and I'm so grateful. Not only is Dr. Darling incredibly knowledgeable and an expert in her field, but she also has a way with her patients (a lovely mix of compassion, attentiveness, and a good sense of humor and levity) that instantly puts me at ease. In addition to adjustments, she's taught me helpful stretches I can do at home, and always takes time to listen to any updates on other health contributors, answer questions, and offer insightful feedback. The moment I step through the door, I know I'm welcome and in good hands. The office staff is always warm and has been wonderfully helpful on occasions when I've needed to get in for a more urgent adjustment. I couldn't recommend Dr. Darling more highly if I tried. read more

I have had many chiropractors over the years to address different issues (i.e., neck pain, accidents, and injuries) and Dr. Darling is by far one of the best chiropractors I have ever had. She is a very kind chiropractor, who really cares about her patients. A quality that is very rare in my experience. She is very professional, knowledgeable, and always goes above and beyond. I especially appreciate the peaceful environment and always feel cared for. read more

Dr Darling was my life-saver. I'm an avid tennis player and after a long tournament last year, I developed really bad back pain. I tried to get it better myself, but it took me three months of frustration before I finally got to her office. Flash forward 6 months later I'm back to working out, playing tennis about 3-4 times a week. Her office staff is great and efficient. The wait was never really long. She has a traction machine that you can profit from while she works on the patient prior to her. I highly recommend her! read more

Dr. Darling is amazing. It's so obvious that she legitimately cares for each of her patients. She was referred to me after a car accident almost 13 years ago and I've been going to her ever since. I'd never been to a chiropractor and never realized how much I needed it. I've moved out of state, but still make it a priority to visit each time I'm back in town. If I could pack her in my suitcase to take her with me I would! read more

I hadn't been to a chiropractor in close to forty years. My back issues were getting worse even requiring muscle relaxants from my PCP. I posted a recommendation request on Facebook and a friend recommended Dr. Darling and she even took my insurance!! I made my first appointment before 2022 ended. The office is cozy and nice and masks are requested and disinfecting everything after each patient occurs which helped with my COVID aversion. Dr. Darling was through with her intake and listened to my issues. I was on the traction table for about fifteen minutes which warmed up my muscles for the adjustment. Wowza, my neck, spine, knees, hips, and lower back were WAY out of wack. It was amazing to walk normally as my center of gravity was restored!! Woo hoo. The night of my first adjustment and subsequent adjustments relaxed me so much that I get into bed and listen to an audiobook. I feel stronger, healthier, and so well cared for by Dr. Darling. I liked her so much that my college-aged daughter is also coming with me due to the poor desk situation at her college. She is very happy with the results as well. Definitely give Dr. Darling an opportunity to help you feel better - just like mental, physical, and all other types of healthcare, chiropractic care is important also!! read more

Absolutely amazing. I know there are many chiropractor offices in the area, and I have been to many (if not all), but Dr. Darling is truly phenomenal and truly, genuinely cares about your well-being and is committed to find ways to help you. This is the first time I came to Yelp right away to write a review (which I rarely do), and it is because I hope this review also helps someone as well. She truly takes the time to take a holistic assessment to determine whether it is something she can help you with and her adjustment techniques are highly precise, gentle yet extremely effective. I give her my highest recommendation. Trust me when I say this that her experience, technique, and commitment to your well-being is unparalleled, and you will not be disappointed. I hope this review helps someone as well, as it did for me. Thank you so much, Dr. Darling! read more

This review has been long overdue. I have been seeing Dr. Darling for several months now after having struggled for YEARS with pain in my knee and left leg. I have seen orthopedic doctors, sports medicine doctors, taken scans, seen different chiros, PT, etc. Nothing seemed to work, until I came to see Dr. Darling. After a few sessions of trying different things and doing some tests, she believed she knew what the underlying issue was. After a couple months or working on that specific issue, pain is essentially gone. In my mind, she worked a miracle. I had been suffering for years with this and now it's essentially nonexistent. It should also be noted that the office experience is top-notch. Her staff is the most friendly and helpful and is a truly wonderful experience every time I go. Thank you again, Doc. Couldn't have done this without you! read more

Long overdue review!! Dr. Darling and staff are very professional. Everything is always very clean and sanitized. I appreciate the check-in system at the front desk that allows you to pinpoint exactly whichever areas of the body are in need that day of extra attention. I also love that she is one of the few chiropractors (that I'm aware of) who will use an activator if you'd prefer. Very personable. Good parking options. Highly recommend!! read more

She is great. Helped me out without all the gimmicky stuff chiropractors try to do to get you coming back.

I have been seeing Dr Darling for a year and a half and she has been life changing for me! I started at the end of my first pregnancy, had help throughout postpartum, and am now in my second pregnancy. I cannot imagine my daily life without the relief that Dr Darling brings me! If you are in need of a chiropractor then this is the spot for you. The entire office is so nice and has an incredibly personal feel. I can't say enough about how much I look forward to these appointments, knowing how great I am going to feel during and after. read more

Very knowledgeable and caring chiropractor, and her office is so safe, clean and focused on customer service.

I only trust Dr. Darling as my chiropractor. She has been my chiropractor for almost ten years. I am moving to Orange County, and I will still be driving back to Pasadena to see her -- that's how good she is. She is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I sit at my desk all day, causing neck and back tension. I always leave her office feeling looser and refreshed. I highly recommend Dr. Darling! read more

Very easy to book. Great quality and super informative. Easy access to parking and building.

Great staff. Dr. Darling cares about you & your care. Does not recommend you come multiple times a week like many others.

I have been coming here 3 times so far. Very good result, very patient doctor and nice environment.

This review is long overdue. Dr. Darling helped me in 2020 over the course of 6-12 visits. I had lower back pain from an untreated injury that took place around 5 years prior. It was generally manageable, but would spike occasionally, and at the time of my first visit, I was in BAD shape. For my first visit, I talked to Dr. Darling for maybe 15 minutes, laid on the rollerbed for 15 minutes (a mechanical massage bed that relaxes your muscles--she offers aromatherapy during this time), and then laid on the chiropractic table. Dr. Darling poked around for just a couple minutes before determining that one of my legs was slightly shorter than the other because one of my hips was protruding slightly higher than the other. She explained how treatment would proceed and what results I could expect, and then she "twisted me up like a pretzel." My spine popped like a zipper. It felt amazing. In later visits, she would also use a massage gun to relax muscles around the problem area. Leaving my first visit, I swear I could feel that my right leg was longer. Everything was back in place after so long and it felt amazing. I dealt with some discomfort/minor pain in new areas for a few days afterward, but it was more muscular, less like a warning bell from my body when I turned or bent the wrong way. The original source of pain was just gone. Dr. Darling explained that this is normal; your body needs time to adjust back to the correct position when its been out of place for so long, and it will likely try to pull itself back out of place if not taken care of. That put my mind at ease, and sure enough, within a few days I was totally pain free. After that, I continued visiting Dr. Darling once or twice per month to keep everything in place. Now, I'm trying to work with a chiropractor in a different state who makes me watch explanatory videos, runs tests on me, takes x-rays, and uses expensive mechanical instruments to make adjustments and it IS NOT WORKING. I miss Dr. Darling terribly and would recommend her to anyone dealing with chronic pain, regardless of how long they've been dealing with it. read more

This has been a long time coming. I'm in my fourth month of treatment and Dr. Darling is the poster child for World-Class Service!! Not only does she take the time to understand and assess your situation. She provides a thorough explanation of her assessment and treatment plan for you. There was never a time I felt that I had no idea what was going on. From day 1 she kept communication lines open and insured my first initial treatments I had no pain or discomfort during the alignment phase. After the first three visits immediately felt the ability to readjust my neck and spine back without assistance. I'm now on a monthly check-up plan that keeps my back and neck pain free. The overall stress from previous pain and discomfort has completely gone away. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Darling to family and friends!! read more

Long overdue. Dr. Darling has been a game changer for my health and mindset. I've already recommended her to others!

Well, this is embarrassing - I have been coming here for YEARS and somehow never left a review?! 5 stars don't even begin to describe the kind of treatment you will get from Doc Darling. I think I moved to Pas in 2015 and I desperately needed a chiropractor so after a disaster of a treatment with some other guy that was very highly recommended I found Doc Darling and never looked back. Due to my health issues I have to see her almost every week and she is so unbelievably cool that I'm not even embarrassed to say that it's always the highlight of my week. A month ago I thought I'd have to relocate to Sacramento and my first thought was - wth am I going to do there without my Doc!? Fly back and forth?? She would be worth the commute though. She helps my back and neck issues like no other doctor can all the while being an incredible friend. She's like physical and mental therapy in one. She is what every doctor should be - an incredibly skilled professional but also an amazing human being. read more
