He's treated myself, my husband and our son. He helped our son with growing pains and completely healed him of his allergies. My husband had lower back pain and a surgeon told him there was a rip in there after looking at the X-rays and he could perform surgery. We took our X-rays to Dr. Williams and he took his own X-rays as well, and said he could heal that with regular treatment once a week. Guess what, my husband no longer has the pain after coming here. This review is years overdue. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Williams, and his whole team. From the warm greeting up front, Trish sets the tone for the visit. The therapists are all friendly, professional, and courteous. I have been going to Dr. Dexter for a long while, and despite moving to Irvine, I still consider him my chiropractor. He always gets me in when I'm in town. And somehow knows just how to fix me, even when I haven't seen him in a while. I tried to find someone closer to home, and have yet to find anyone who comes close to Dexter's level of expertise, care, compassion, or effectiveness. Before Dexter (and after), I had met plenty of whack job chiropractors, and only ever found one other provider whom I could fully trust. Unfortunately that other doc is in Beverly Hills, and getting out to see him was a half-day journey, even when I lived in Burbank... that's when I found Dexter, and my life was changed. Dr. Dexter is the best and most thorough chiropractor I have ever been to! He is very knowledgable and takes time to explain how to treat my specific ailments. He goes beyond just chiropractic care, he even gave me a list of foods I should be eating based on my blood type. The office staff is friendly and I never feel rushed in the office. Now that's been long since treated, but I still go in regularly for maintenance and to experience the NET (neuro-emotional therapy) as well. Get yourself checked out. If you feel like you have any sort of imbalance in your life, whether it be your posture or something emotional, Dexter's the one you're going to want to see. I was curious after hearing how good my family's appointments were, and while I went in for a simple check-up thinking I had no problems, I was definitely shown different in my x-rays. I learned not only that there was something wrong with my spine, but that one of my legs were shorter by a few millimeters (which attributed to my spinal problem), and that my prolific use of a desktop computer has warped the bone structure of my neck. I've always felt there was a left-right imbalance in my stance for as long as I can remember, so seeing it come up on the x-ray validated my belief. But besides just seeing what was wrong with me, Dr. Dexter sat me down and was able to explain to me what was wrong and suggest the adjustments I should make to improve my quality of life, instead of just coldly prescribing me something and letting me be on my way. After the check-up, I was able to get an ionic foot bath, which helped me a lot with my acne problems, and I was also able to learn about NET. I won't attempt to try and explain it, but it was a spot-on psycho-therapy session that revealed a lot of the issues that I've been dealing with emotionally. Of course, we talked through them and what I could do about them, which helped me greatly. Aside from my consultation, the place is great. Dr. Dexter Williams is kind, charismatic, very knowledgeable, and sincere. He has multiple credentials and degrees. He is a certified radiologist, and NET provider among many other specialties. He offers free educational seminars on Wednesday evenings that include a free dinner. Nutrition, NET demonstration, and Juicing are some of the topics he covers. He makes these topics interesting, and he tells funny stories to illustrate his points. No one in his office puts any pressure on you to purchase any supplements. Your first session with Dr. Dexter is over an hour long where he talks with you to evaluate your medical needs. You then schedule 2-3 more sessions with him before he presents you with a comprehensive evaluation with recommendations for you in writing. I have lower back pain, insomnia, and generalized muscle pain. Dr. Williams recommended a parasite cleanse, exercises, adjustments, decompression, tens unit therapy after the decompression, and Eat Right 4 Your Blood Type diet. I purchased the parasite cleanse supplements from Dr. Dex for less than what Amazon charges. I am able to sleep without sleeping pills 6 nights out of 7 which is a great improvement. I read the diet book and am making changes to my diet. I have physical therapy sessions with my own therapist. My lower back pain has diminished.
