Didn't quite work the first time and we requested they come out again ( they came out for free), they came out with in days of calling and laid another round of spray and poison down; within a week we had no sighting of bugs in the house , GREAT! Now a month or so later we see a mouse in the garage at first, and after a day or so find evidence of them in our kitchen ; oh boy we gotta get this handled. We were scheduled for pest control to come out for the 3 month service so we waited for our regular guy, he showed up. We informed him of our issue and he said he would have to schedule someone else to come out, we said okay. Two days later another gentleman shows up. He walks around the outside of the house in 4 minutes comes in and looks around the kitchen and walks back to his truck. Then comes back in and hands us a quote of $2400 to change our crawl space foundation vents and extermination because one of them has a small tear in the screen on the bottom. I couldn't believe my ears. Not only does this guy show up and spend a total of 5 minutes "inspecting" in which he has no clue in what he was doing , he then has the audacity to hand a $2400 quote over to me for some foundation crawl space vents we don't even need!!!!! If this clueless salesman would have taken even 10 seconds to look in our crawl space through the door ( undue the latch and swing the door open) he would have seen it is freshly and fully encapsulated from the ceiling to the floor and surround in which the house would not even need the quantity of 10 automatic $35 foundation vents. FYI an encapsulated foundation with humidifier does not need venting. After hearing how Rocket Pest Control was trying to screw us over with a punk salesman on something that we didn't even need in addition to not even being able to treat the problem without charging us an additional charge, we were done. After he left we immediately called to cancel our service with them with a $100 cancellation fee just to bend ya over a little bit more. Every day for 10 days after we canceled our service, we continued to get emails trying to get us to sign and pay for the $2400 job. I am including pictures so you yourself can read through the documents ( look at the service price , Notes, extra monthly fees, and NO GUARANTEE disclaimer), they do great for standard roaches, ants, and spiders but hurt your wallet for no good reason other than to benefit themselves, GOOD LUCK. As a result, I had to reseed a bare portion this spring. Emailed Lawn Doctor asking them not to put down weed killer since it also kills grass seeds. The return email I received chastised me for seeding in the spring - not the fall as they suggested. He then berated me for not listening to them and used analogy of hiring a personal trainer to get in shape and then eating donuts. VERY unprofessional attitude. Wrote them back, trying to tone things down, explaining the flooding and such, and again received another email blast. Sent the whole email string to Lawn Doctor corporate - they agreed that he should have been more tactful - but that is the extent of it. I do not think I should be berated and chastised for not following their instructions, before they understand the rational for my actions. Even when I explained the situation, they continued to speak to me as if I were a naughty 1st grader that intentionally colored outside of the lines. I am not interested in dealing with a company that does not treat others with professionalism and respect.

When I first signed up, I had a pest issue that I wanted addressed. I followed every recommendation their technicians gave me over the past year. I paid for the suggested treatments, watered as instructed, and did not apply any products to my lawn myself. I trusted the professionals to know what my lawn needed. Instead of improving, my lawn progressively deteriorated. Before hiring Lawn Doctor, I had never experienced widespread dead grass across my yard. As the damage continued, I repeatedly contacted the company looking for answers. Each time, there seemed to be another explanation, another recommendation, or another service that would require additional money. Most recently, after my lawn had already declined significantly, I was presented with recommendations for lime treatments, potassium and magnesium supplements, Cytogro applications, aeration, compost, and additional watering, representing hundreds of dollars in additional services. What disappointed me the most was that Lawn Doctor advertises the following on its website: "If you're not 100% satisfied, we'll make it right. Our No Nonsense Guarantee ensures your satisfaction with every service. If not, we'll promptly address your concerns at no extra cost or refund your last service's full price." That was not my experience. Rather than making the situation right, I was asked to spend even more money trying to correct a lawn that had declined while under their care. I understand that lawns can be affected by many factors, and I cannot say with certainty what caused the damage. However, I can say that my lawn was in far better condition before I became a customer than it was after months of treatments and following every recommendation provided. I have since canceled my service because I no longer have confidence that continuing would improve the situation. If you're considering Lawn Doctor, I encourage you to ask detailed questions about their satisfaction guarantee and what happens if your lawn does not respond to treatment as expected. I wish my experience had been different.
