Three or four years ago we converted our deck to a patio and ended up with two sets of stairs that needed handrails. We had Pickle install some handrails and we were very happy with them then. So they were one of a couple of companies we contacted for an estimate. Pickle Iron was the most competitive. Mel in the office and John overseeing all the projects are both great and easy to work with. We were not exactly sure what style we wanted so we looked at the options on their website. I had a friend show me pictures of his fence, I texted it to Mel and they said they can make pretty much anything you want if it is wrought iron. The guys showed up and pretty much knocked it out in two days. Very happy with it, their attention to detail is amazing. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a wrought iron fence.

This was the last day we ever saw him. Our dog has ruined the outside bathroom door despite the guarantee from John that these iron doors were "indestructible". Mind you, it took the dog less than five minutes to ruin a door that cost approximately $6K. The same door is also subject to constant sweating on the interior side due to a humidity problem in the master bathroom that wasn't present prior to the door installation. When I brought it to his attention back in July 2025, I was told that a thermal door would be installed at no cost to me that would completely eliminate the problem. Again, not another word since. This business may have been a generational staple to be proud of previously, but this has not been the case since John and his current employees have taken over. Given the substantial cost of such a home addition, your money and time are much better served elsewhere.
