I dealt with the problem for 2 days before I finally gave up and started searching for a professional to help me. My wife recommended Patterson Eye Associates because she has always received the best of care there. We went online that evening requesting an appointment. We were contacted the very next morning and told I could come in that afternoon. The paperwork for first time patient information took less than 5 minutes and I was in the examination room immediately. Dr. Patterson was able to remove the debris quickly and I suffered absolutely no discomfort. The total cost of the procedure was $50, even after I told them I didn't have insurance. After suffering through 2 days of dealing with the pain and blurred vision I would have paid them $500. I now know who to call if I ever have another emergency involving my eyes.

I went in to get my glasses and could not see. I was instructed to give them time. I gave them a week. I am dizzy and nauseated when wearing them. They are supposed to be giving me my money back. We will see. I also have contacts. I had one slipping around on my eye. I went in and he initially said it was because my eyes were tired and gave me drops but then ended up giving me a new trail lens during that visit. It slips around on my eye. When I asked if we could get Acuvue oasis (what I have had for the past 10 years) I was told I would have to pay a $65 dollar fee for another evaluation. This is all within their 30 day window. I should not have to pay more money when you did not provide the service you advertise. I have always believed in supporting the local man but if this is the way you do business you should be ashamed. You are just trying to squeeze more money out of people. I will take my business to a chain where I expect this type of behavior. Don't waste your time!!!!!!!!!! I don't usually give negative reviews but you need to be aware of what you are dealing with.

Once get called to see technician/doctor is your typical times you'd experience any doctor office. Customer service friendliness is pretty good; my total time for LASIK consult was about 2 hrs. This is a high volume center for persons mostly older clientele so this wait time would probably be about the average. There is a small frame selection opposite first wait lobby. Then they said I need to go to my heart Dr. for clearance. Went to hart Dr on the 22nd and he sent the clearance. 2 weeks went by and no call. I called and they stated no clearance was sent. I called heart Dr. they sent another one. Still eye Dr said no clearance was sent. I told them they fax everything and gave them the fax number. I was told their fax machine broke a month ago and gave me a new number. Told heart Dr they sent clearance to the new number still no one called. I drove to Florence (I live in Sumter) and they said they did not receive clearance, they gave me the same fax number in person. I called heart Dr nurse said they will send the clearance. By the end of the day, heart Dr nurse said she sent it. Eye Dr said no. 2 weeks texted nurse finally they said they received the clearance, but my potassium is low and they need to take a blood test to check it, someone will call me within 2 hours. That was a week ago. Still, no one called. I got a text asking me to fill out forms, I went to My Chart and no forms are there for me to fill out. Since July 22, I have called for an appt. 6 times, heart Dr sent 4 clearance, I have written to Dr. Green a typed letter on what I have gone through and he will not answer me. I have paid for my laser surgery and still haven't had it. I am tired of them saying they will call and they dont call me. I am tired of waiting for this Dr to do the surgery like he told me I needed or I will be blind by the end of the year. Right now today is my birthday and I have not received anything from this eye Dr. for the last week like they promised someone would call me. No one will help me, no one will talk to me, they will not call me. I am pissed, frustrated and confused on how they are handling my case. Since July 2 until today 9/16, 2 months nothing, take my money and they won't do anything for me. I need eye surgery!

I was able to find what I was looking for here. I like the frame selection here, I ordered two, one sunglasses & one single vision. They told me the "lab" messed them up but this happened twice so I'm saying the making of the lenses may not be that great. Good assortment of frames, may want to have lenses made elsewhere.
