From security to vendors, staff at YS are so friendly, professional, and add to the cheerful vibes all around. Layout is easy to follow, good signage, clean and comfortable seating. I dont use public loos, so can't comment. Our food experience was the only downside, it was disgusting, horrific! Initially, it tasted like what we've come to expect, good ol' fashioned game day food in Louisiana. The fried shrimp was scrummy, but then the fish was a little...funny. So I pushed it aside for the waffle fries to find they were not only packed to the top with scraps - but with pieces of a fried, melted, plastic utensils. Vile. There was no way we were leaving our seats, missing the game, to run down 4 staircases and halfway across stadium to return it. So $30 into the trash, after a couple of shrimp and 3 waffle fries. CHECK YOUR FOOD!

It's not the one next to the stadium and about a 5-10 min safe walk. On the way you can stop by the LBC and go to the campus bookstore to get team gear. There are several entrances into the stadium and the security checkpoint staff were all very nice and quick. Once inside there are many food choices available. We got the combo basket at Dooks, it was great at first but then found the first layer of waffle fries covered the bottom of the fryer bits. For that price, do better Dooks. Will eat elsewhere next time. It was very easy to find your section and seat. Not sure why so many people have a hard time realizing what section they are standing in. It's well marked. Stadium was clean and nice. Would go back again.

The Superdome: Mecca of Sports Entertainment--and the Night Kanye Turned It Into Pure Electricity…read moreThere are stadiums, and then there is the Caesars Superdome. On a Sunday or Monday night when the New Orleans Saints are rolling, the building stops being concrete and steel and becomes something closer to a living organism. The air thickens. The noise doesn't just hit your ears--it vibrates through your chest, settles in your legs, and short-circuits whatever calm you walked in with. You feel the energy in your body before the kickoff even happens. It's so exhilarating you can't think straight. That's not hype. That's the baseline experience of a prime-time Saints game in the Dome. The Superdome has earned its reputation as the Mecca for sports entertainment the hard way--through decades of deafening "Who Dats," miraculous comebacks, Super Bowl victories, and the kind of communal roar that makes visiting teams look like they just stepped into a different dimension. On those Sunday and Monday nights the building feels sacred in the loudest, most profane way possible. The lights, the smoke, the black-and-gold sea, the way the roof seems to trap every decibel and throw it back at you twice as hard... it rewires your nervous system. You don't watch a game here. You survive it, and you leave changed. Then Kanye West showed up and proved the Dome can do the exact same thing for pure spectacle. New Orleans was a fortunate stop on the world tour, and the production was nothing short of amazing. This wasn't a concert that politely occupied the same space as the Saints. It claimed the entire building. The stage, the lights, the sound design, the sheer scale of the visual and sonic assault--everything was dialed to the same intensity the Dome is famous for on game nights. You could feel that same physical charge in your body the moment the first beat dropped. Thinking became optional. The only available response was pure, involuntary reaction. He played all the hits. Of course he did. And the crowd stayed on its feet for the entire show--no exaggeration. People weren't just standing; they were out of their seats in that specific, frantic, communal way that only happens when the room has fully surrendered. The energy never dipped. Every track hit like a goal-line stand in the fourth quarter. The production elevated everything: the lighting, the staging, the way the Dome's unique acoustics and sightlines were weaponized instead of merely tolerated. It felt less like a concert and more like the building itself had been waiting for this exact collision of sports-cathedral atmosphere and unfiltered artistic force. There's a reason the Superdome feels different from other venues. It has absorbed decades of pure, unfiltered New Orleans emotion--grief, triumph, defiance, celebration--and somehow that residue still lives in the walls. On Saints nights you feel it in your bones. On this night, with Kanye running the show, that same current was redirected into something just as overwhelming. The production was flawless, the song selection was ruthless, and the crowd never sat down because sitting down simply wasn't an option once the energy locked in. This was awesome in the original sense of the word--something that inspires awe and a little bit of beautiful disorientation. The Dome reminded everyone why it remains the Mecca for sports entertainment, and then Kanye reminded everyone that the same temple works just as well when the religion is pure performance. One for the ages. New Orleans got lucky. The rest of the tour had to settle for ordinary buildings.

No lean back, recliner, vibrating chairs, with food service served to you. No it is just a plain small theatre with one popcorn machine, a few concessions people, some candy for sale, a nice somewhat elaborate coffee barista area, and a few select movies showing. I love the quaintness of this theatre. I loved the quirky decor. And I really enjoyed their coffee as well. I came here during the winter when they were showing It's a Wonderful Life. Not only was it was my first time here at the this theatre, it was also my first time seeing this movie. Prior to the showing, a worker stood in front of the theatre to address the crowd with beautiful facts about the movie and Jimmy Stewart. It is an annual event, so if you are curious this is a great way to spend an afternoon. They also have a soap machine making what represents "Snow" outside as you enter the establishment. People also came dressed up in fun winter and Christmas gear. I highly recommend this being done at least once. And if not for this annual showing, any fun date.

Friendly young staff works here, high-quality movie theater, great food choices. What more could you ask for it? We just moved and we were looking to see our first movie in our new city. First we went to AMC playing the same movie, and decided to not stay due to the atmosphere that seemed very depressing. When we saw the same movie was playing here a half hour later we decided to try it out and I don't think I'll go to any other movie theater in New Orleans again! Love that we found this. Can't wait to bring friends from out of town here.
