I've used their staff for helping me design my yard to repurpose a stale, brown weed lawn into a neighborhood curbside stunner, and have continuously bought vibrant vegetable starts for my backyard raised beds, with abundant results. The staff is really knowledgeable, but what always leaves an impression is their hospitality and welcoming for all aspiration levels of a gardener. You can also find a wide variety of soils, fertilizers, tools, and pots to make all your garden dreams come true. They do not compete in price with the big box stores, but like with anything, you get what you pay for, and supporting a high quality local business like this is worth every penny.

There were a lot of unique plants I haven't seen in other nurseries and there weren't too many for it to be overwhelming. There's labels on the plants to let you know what kind of plant it is, care instructions, and if it's pet friendly or not. I got the watermelon peperomia for myself and the rattlesnake plant for my friend. I thought the value and the size of the plant was great. The owner was really friendly and open to answering any questions I had. The only con is that the pot selection was limited and I wish there were more options. Other than this, I definitely will come back if I want to gift someone a plant or grow my own collection!

I hope folks will use this company. Adding. My gardener's came to spread mulch after it was delivered. Turned out I didn't order enough. I called Broadway Landscaping and explained and asked it it were possible to order more right away while the men were here working. And it happened! In 40 minutes here came the truck with more mulch. The good news is that I will be back and probably be spending a lot of time and $$ in the City of Vallejo... Bad for me, good for you. Atmosphere - Consistent with the brand. See my picture for both business and holiday hours. Plenty of parking. I have also learned to park as far away as possible to minimize flat tires. Some/many Home Depots have spilled nails, screws, etc. on the floors of their parking lots. Service - Sales floor service = 6 stars!!! Almost every employee asked us if we needed help. Went out of the way to offer help and offer to walk with us. Wow, new service program...? Too bad we ended up with the least happy cashier. She was not rude or anything, but it was obvious she preferred not to be dealing with the public today... If it was not for her, this might have been a 5 star review... Price - Inexpensive, low cost leader. I don't check prices. The only places that might be less expensive are Walmart (not enough selection) or the internet (Amazon), but I want my stuff now! Time is $$, LOL. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1978, now with 2335+ (since 2024) locations and growing. Ranked #5 (in 2020) on the Fortune 500.
