Food can be good depending on what they have on the menu. Service is always good. Cordial and pretty attentive staff/people. Ambiance is meh. Nice to have access to halfway decent food for the earned membership. Vibe is chill.

My favorite of the three Laurel Lounges that the CET properties has to offer. They have a nice little soup and salad bar to help yourself on one end, as well as another little bar set up with a couple of tasty pizzas to choose from and a dessert section too. Then they have three entrees that you can select from that the server will bring you your choice of one. They also have open bar, as well as soft drinks and coffee and tea service, but unfortunately no cappuccino/espresso machine. I've been here a few times since they moved back to their old location and out of the buffet area and I like this much better. I like making my own salad and I love the pizza! My favorite server here is Diane, she is just excellent! I always ask for her section... I'll post some pics of some of the things we've had to eat lately. Oh if you didn't know it's free entry if you're Diamond Plus or above for you and a guest or $10 comp pp I think if just Diamond. We've only come for lunch. I prefer Amphora at Borgata if going to a lounge for dinner.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Family of friends and people who work really hard to welcome all.

Booths line the edges like polite sentries and the bar itself is lined with slot/video poker machines in case you feel like doubling your disappointment. I arrived with a party of four just 45 minutes before last call on a Tuesday. You would think that would be enough time for a few drinks and a few laughs. You would be wrong. There was a man in a suit behind the bar doing what I can only assume was performance art meant to mimic sabotage. There was a bar back who had the dazed expression of a man recently asked to name all the moons of Jupiter in alphabetical order. The bartender moved with the speed and confidence of a tortoise delivering bad news to a hungry bobcat. Service was a game of drink-by-drink roulette. He took our orders one at a time in the most literal sense. One person would speak. He would leave. He would return eventually with something resembling said dink. Another person would speak. He would leave again. Rinse. Repeat. We might have been speaking in code and he was off deciphering it at the opposite corner of the bar. The drinks were okay. Not good. Not bad. Okay. The menu was fun to look at though. They called them potions. In the VooDoo Lounge. How clever. It was the highlight of the visit and the only reason I gave them a second star. That and the fact that I did not actually die there. Oh and the prices. Nineteen dollars to sip Instragramable mediocrity from a glass shaped like regret.

4 stars for the holiday lounge, but 3 stars otherwise…read more The 1927 Lounge is located just off to the side of the casino in the Ocean Resort and offers a mix of slop machine noise/excitement, paired against a quiet corner nook of coziness. The bar occasionally offers live music, but my favorite time to visit is during the holidays, when they turn it into a festive Christmas spot with holiday beverages. There are fun decorations, strands of lights, Home Alone 2 playing on the televisions, and much more to really get you in the holiday spirit. I most recently tried the Pomegranate Margarita on their seasonal menu and thought it was excellent; it was not too sweet or too weak. I should note that there are rarely servers in the lounge area, so you typically need to go up to the bar to place an order, which can disrupt the flow of fun you might be having. Overall, I think the 1927 Lounge is decent on a normal day, but much better when they have a themed takeover happening.

It's is an unlike anything you will experience at any other Casino in Atlantic City. The DJ is incredible and plays music for everyone's taste. The bartenders are fun, full of personality and make cocktails quickly. And then you have the speakeasy. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but as soon as I walked in I noticed a male dancer up in the cage, followed by about 8 women in costume. The choreography was sexy yet very tasteful. They have acts that incorporate thrilling tricks that keep everyone on their toes. I could not help but take videos so I could show all of my friends and family back at home just how incredible it actually is. You will not be disappointed!
