Full disclosure: I didn't manage to make an appointment with this clinic…read more Apparently there were no openings until March when I called, because apparently the doctor will be out of the country for several weeks. Also, I was informed most of her appointments are taken by the PA who has "been with them for several years" and "does everything the doctor does." This is "their normal practice" apparently. I've never heard of such a thing. I asked if it was considered a "doctor's visit" if it was with the PA, and was informed that yes, yes it is. Huh? So why isn't the PA the MD then? Because the PA is *not* an MD... why are we paying a premium for a PA visit? I've visited multiple doc offices before and have had the pleasure of working with their PA's, but NEVER before working directly with the MD/specialist first and certainly throughout my care. Very disappointed after reading all the positive reviews about this place.

You don't have to wait long and her office is always clean and welcoming. Appointments are easy to make. Just a few down side issues...there is a charge if you miss your appointment, even if it's an emergency. However, the doctor worked with me on this fee & waived it. The billing / coding on a visit was also entered in incorrectly and I was billed from my insurance company. But the office corrected it, and took care of it after I contacted them. It's nice to see that they can correct errors & look at policy. I would recommend getting rid of the no show fee, it's very high and things happen. Overall, very pleased and would recommend.

I had my baby here two years ago, and I still think about how incredible the labor and delivery…read morenurses were. They were attentive, supportive, and so kind to both me and my husband. They truly made the experience special. However, the postpartum care was the complete opposite. After we were taken to our room, we were barely checked on. At one point, no one came in for about seven hours, and my husband had to go track someone down. With all the natural emotions running high of postpartum they not being as supportive or as attentive made it feel that much more eerie and depressing. It was frustrating and disappointing, especially during a time when care and support are so important. I really wish the postpartum team had matched the level of care from L&D, because that stage matters just as much! Thank you to the L&D nurses! (Wish I could remember their names!) I still think of how they made me feel during such a vulnerable raw special and emotional moment!

My 79-year-old mother was recently admitted to this hospital with bacterial pneumonia, a serious…read morelung infection that often requires prompt respiratory support, especially in older adults who are at higher risk for complications like reduced lung expansion, mucus buildup, or secondary issues such as atelectasis (partial lung collapse). Despite multiple requests over three days, the staff did not provide her with an incentive spirometer--a simple, standard device widely recommended for pneumonia patients. It encourages slow, deep breathing to help fully inflate the lungs, loosen and clear mucus, prevent further collapse of air sacs, and support faster recovery. Medical sources (including guidelines from places like MedlinePlus, Cleveland Clinic, and respiratory therapy references) commonly advise its use in hospital settings for lung illnesses like pneumonia, particularly to aid breathing and reduce risks in elderly or bedbound patients. I had to escalate the matter to the nurse manager before one was finally provided. Compounding the issue, her assigned nurse was dismissive and somewhat rude during interactions. I recognize that hospitals face high demands, but for an elderly patient with bacterial pneumonia, basic tools like this--along with attentive, respectful care--should be standard and not require persistent family advocacy. This experience fell short of what I'd expect for vulnerable patients. If you're weighing options for yourself or a loved one needing care (especially respiratory issues), I strongly suggest considering other facilities based on what we went through. Prioritizing places with stronger emphasis on timely basics and compassionate nursing can make a real difference. Wishing your loved ones better experiences wherever care is needed.

Dr Allen delivered my daughter in 2023 at Baylor Scott and White Centennial Hospital. Dr Allen was unprofessional, rude & unfriendly. When labor went on for more than 36 hours and there were multiple signs of fetal distress on fetal heart rate monitor, Dr Allen insisted on continuing labor & performing a vaginal delivery rather than agreeing with our request for an urgent C section. Unfortunately, that decision led directly to significant complications. My daughter's delivery was notable for both a subgaleal hemorrhage (with hemorrhagic shock requiring blood transfusion & transfer to the NICU at Medical City Hospital) and a serious brachial plexus injury (both the Brachial Plexus Clinic at TCH Houston & Shriner's Hospital Philadelphia attributed this injury to Dr Allen's management) that ultimately required a 5 hour nerve transfer surgery. Unfortunately, my daughter is left with a permanent, severe physical disability due to Dr Allen's clinical decisions. I am a cardiologist. I recognize good care when I see it. Dr Allen did not provide it. Every time I see my daughter struggle to put her arm through a sleeve or put her hand in her pocket, I regret that I ever met Dr Allen and that I allowed her to touch my baby.

I was informed at 3:29pm the day before my appointment that my paperwork needed to be done by 5pm to be seen the next day for my appointment that's been scheduled for weeks. Of course I wasn't able to complete the paperwork by 5pm the day before my appointment due to work, picking up my child, and needing to get home at a decent time in traffic. If I was informed prior to the day before my appointment that I needed to fill out the paperwork by 5 pm then that would have been different. But whoever was texting me was rude, unprofessional, and disgusting. I confirmed that I was attending my appointment prior to 5pm and planned on doing my paperwork once I got home. I will be looking for care elsewhere.

The office ambiance is great from decor to music. It's calming because doctor visits can be nerve wracking. Dr. Cudjoe is thorough, makes sure you understand her explanations / plan of treatment, knowledgeable, proactive and has great bedside manner. I'm looking forward to getting my health back on track, maintaining it and trust that I am in good hands. Lynette was also awesome from beginning to end of visit. They both have wonderful personalities & I'm glad that I chose this practice to entrust with my care.
