Scheduling a repair is easy, you can call or do it online and if you need to make adjustments they're accommodating. They work directly with insurance so you only have to pay your deductible and then they'll bill the rest to your provider. It was a little difficult to find a drop off time that they had available that worked for me but I didn't mind waiting and then having a convenient option. I showed up with my car and they quickly assessed the damage. I had some damage that wasn't included in my insurance claim and they offered to try to fix it too and make sure it was affordable. Once we determined the damage I signed paperwork and they helped me get a rental car. The process was seamless and pretty quick. The agent I worked with was very friendly. They text you updates about your vehicle and keep you in the loop as repairs occur. They seem very thorough and repairs are guaranteed for life which is awesome.

It was not... 3. The bed of the truck was not fully bolted back on. I have photos. 4. The ground wire that prevents the car from catching fire while refueling was not connected properly. 5. There was a "hot" wire dangling that could have easily shorted out my lights. I was going to get an estimate from them then would get the repair done by another Caliber Collision location that is closer to me (I live in Meridian), but I was so impressed with Richard for his honesty and professionalism that I decided to let them work on the repair. He stayed on top of things with constant updates throughout the repair. After picking up the vehicle, I ran into a minor problem with it, called him back and he took great care of me without hesitation. He apologized for the inconvenience and put me back on my rental that they paid out of their pocket for couple of days while mine is back to them. They corrected the issue the next day but I told him that I'd need the rental for 2 days since we are doing all-day trip to Twin Falls and won't be back in town late. He was completely understandable about my situation and got the rental an extra day so I don't have to rush back into town. I am completely satisfied with the service that I received from Richard and definitely will bring future work to him.

We were referred to Capitol Autobody by the insurance company after someone hit the passenger side…read moreof our truck. We scheduled to have the work done and dropped it off. When my husband got the call that it was done, he was told then that they only except cashier's checks, so he had to leave work early to go get that before picking up the truck. After we got it home and had a chance to look it over, my husband noticed that the front door was a little higher than the back door. He also couldn't open the back door with the exterior handle. He had to reach inside and use the inside handle to get it open. We also noticed that they did not replace the weather stripping that somehow got damaged. My husband called Capitol A.B., and they told him to bring it back and they would take care of it. Due to our schedules, we had to wait till Friday to take it back. Before we took it in, we noticed a window switch in the cup holder, but we assumed it was one they replaced and forgot to throw away. After further investigation we discovered that it had been removed from the back driver's side door. They had no reason to be working on the driver's side since all the damage was on the passenger side. So why this was removed in the first place, and not put back is a mystery. We also found a plastic piece sitting on the back seat. After more searching, we discovered it was the piece that goes on the door frame for the back door. They just left it off and left it in the seat. When we dropped it off, we showed them all 5 issues, and they said they would take care of it. Once Monday afternoon rolled around, my husband got a voicemail that the truck was done and that we owed $257.92 for the weather stripping. Needless to say; that did not make us happy that we had to pay more because they screwed up. It would not be such a big deal if it was just one thing wrong, but there were 5 things that needed to be corrected. Keep in mind that we did not have a truck or a rental vehicle when we had to take it back to Capitol A.B. for their lack of quality control. Someone from their shop should have checked to make sure everything was done correctly and put back together before sending it out the door with the customer. After this experience, I would not recommend Capitol Autobody to anyone and will be reaching out to the insurance company to let them know about our experience, so they reconsider recommending Capitol Autobody to their clients.
