They've been around a while so we gave them a call late afternoon. They answered the call right away and, as before, were very professional and set an appointment to come out and diagnose our problem. Miguel came out within a couple hours, took a look and confirmed the spring had gone to wherever broken springs go. Of course our home builder used the cheapest door they could find (Miguel was impressed it lasted as long as it did) so we got a fair price to replace the spring components for the next morning. Miguel showed up on time, took about an hour to replace the entire mechanism, tested it several times and throughly explained what was done and why. Needing to make a change we went to Yelp and found Advance Doors. Chris followed up with me immediately...we arranged a meeting so that he could inspect the doors and give me a quote. Ultimately, I chose Advance Doors and Chris in particular because of his flexibility...during that first schedule meeting...my schedule changed suddenly and he instead met with my realtor. He adjusted to the change, no problem, and followed up with a reasonable quote to replace two old doors with new style track slide up doors with openers. I also had him instal a rollup door (like those on industrial business for my workshop(adjacent to the garage). We had to change the install dates a couple of time due to my schedule and the weather and through it all Chis was cool. He's a personable person, works efficiently and I couldn't be happier with the result and experience. I certainly recommend Advance Doors, I'm sure all the installers are just as awesome as Chris but that's who I'd ask for, based on my experience.

I set the install day for a Saturday (4/13) to better fit my work schedule. After the date was set Jose called me and asked if the install could be done on Monday (4/8). This immediately sent up a warning flag because of a different install I had set up with Lowes that never happened. I agreed to the Monday install. On Monday, Jose showed up 30 minutes earlier than expected (which is something I extremely admire) and got right to work. I went to check on him about an hour and a half later and Jose was all finished. He set up my extra remote and keycode without hesitation, explained what buttons were what, and took away the old opener. I am very happy with his work.
