However, I realized he made multiple mistakes that cost me thousands of dollars in my tax return. They were really dumb errors (copying the wrong number over; not including any insurance on my rental costs). The worst part is he wouldn't call or email me back when I was still really nice and asked him. I was actually going to fix the first issue myself but upon the closer look I found the other issue... Perhaps there's more). It would likely take him 10 minutes to fix but now I need to redo the entire return in TurboTax so everything is calculated correctly. The reason we go to a CPA is to do things accurately... He can't even get simple things done right. Don't trust him with your finances.

We were in a bit of a bind and what we had to pull off in a short amount of time was going to be challenging, to say the least. Simply said, Blankenship was amazing. They communicated with us continually so that we clearly understood what they needed and why it was important. They were responsive to our questions which allowed the work flow to continually progress. We were on some pretty tight deadlines and we were given the parameters and expectations that would allow us to meet those deadlines. We were able to get the audits done by our deadline, while Blankenship worked hard to keep the costs reasonable and fair. I wish that everyone I did business with was as communicative, clear, hard working and fair as this firm. Thanks especially to Scott and Erica for the audits and to CJ and crew for the very informative COVID zoom calls to assist clients with PPP and EIDL understanding!

I am very disappointed with my experience working with this CPA. I initially hired her to complete…read moremy tax return and paid her in full. After providing all requested documentation, weeks passed with no progress updates and she became extremely difficult to reach. Months went by without a response. When I finally filed a dispute with my credit card company due to the lack of service, she suddenly reconnected with me and explained that she had lost her laptop, assuring me she would complete my return right away. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and paid again after the dispute was reversed. Unfortunately, the same pattern repeated. She stopped responding to messages, did not complete the work she was paid for, and has once again become unreachable. My tax return remains unfinished. I have since spoken with multiple other clients who described very similar experiences -- long delays, lack of communication, and returns left incomplete. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend her services. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision.
