Dear reader, I was so excited to have my son join the preschool school section of FAS ( French…read moreAmerican school). In June 2023, I reached out to the director of enrollment who came across as if she was going to sincerely assist me with this process. Six months later, I haven't received any decision regarding the enrollment. I reached out multiple times and was told the following is impacting the enrollment : vacations time, school's busy time, staff's busy time all with periods of no communication and I as a parent had to reach out multiple times to request for status. Finally I was given the opportunity to bring my 29 month old child for a class evaluation ( I was told evaluation was to see how my 2 year old without me being there will interact with other 2 -3 year olds and see if /when my 2 year old get upset if he can be comforted by the teacher). I brought my child in, please note this is the FIRST time my child is being exposed to everyone in the classroom. A few mins after I left I heard my son cry - he was realizing I was gone. I came back to check in as I was across the classroom and peeked via the small window and no adult was soothing/ comforting my child . I checked again via the window after a few minutes and no adult in the classroom was comforting my child . He was upset walking around the classroom by himself. The third time ( few minutes later) I came back headed to the classroom room. A separate teacher from another classroom was bringing my distressed child to me from his classroom as my child was apparently trying to get away. Kindly note that I was literally across the hall from the classroom. Please note that there was a teacher and a teacher's aide in the classroom where my son was. This broke my heart, I typically do not give any reviews but this is one I felt so compelled to give as I could only imagine what my son felt and had I not witnessed this experience I would have been none the wiser. This was my breaking point. I decided NOT to enroll my child in this school and move onto another school and will recommend anyone reading this to think twice about this school. I truly genuinely wanted to love this school as I believe in the idea of having a multilingual education and exposing my child to other cultures early in life. But after that experience by my child, the goal of experiencing multi language can be attained somewhere else, my child needs to be somewhere he feels safe and if he is upset he will be seen and soothed with care and I can also feel assured he is safe. In case the reader is wondering, I reached out to the director of enrollment and communicated my and my child's experience on that fateful "evaluation " day, I got an apology for my feelings and child's feelings she did not address anything else. I cannot say if this is the only time that a potential parent and child interested in this school experienced this encounter. I feel so strongly and so passionately to give this review as that was my experience and I will want to know as a parent of a young child, if I was interested in this school to have this honest review ahead of time. I wish I had this information going in. Since the young ones cannot speak up, parents don't be too far away and be available to check in to see the real experience your little one is receiving. If this is the school you feel compelled to send your little one. In summary, if I can give less than ONE star or zero star I will give it. Disappointment and hurt do not begin to express my feelings especially with the way my child was treated. I wish I was the one who was treated that way instead of my child.

They constantly provide physical and intellectual stimulation through songs, music, books, outdoor play, and yoga. Our daughter loves her teachers, greets them with hugs and talks about them at home. The facilities are spotless, and the center director is understanding of our changing schedule and always willing to make accommodations. We enrolled our daughter in the Nido classroom (infant) at Guidepost Kendall Park at the tender age…read moreof 4 months. As first time parents, we were extremely nervous to put our infant in daycare. We were new to the area and selected the school because it was within a 13 min drive to our home. We had no idea what to expect and just prayed that everything would work out. From day 1, we were struck by the remarkable level of care and attention provided by the teachers, known as "guides." These guides have shaped our daughter's early life with their boundless patience (with us), kindness, and genuine devotion to each child's unique development -- (Shout out to Ms. Vijaya, Ms. Michelle, Ms. Manisha, Ms. Fozia). Along with all the extensive training they go through, most of the guides are parents to young children themselves. They were able to help us navigate being first time parents and what to expect with our daughter's milestones, etc. During pickup, they would say, "Charlotte looks like she is ready to start walking in the next week or so" and like clockwork, she started walking. I would have never known the signs of readiness without the help of the knowledgeable guides. The transparency and responsiveness of the administrators, Dr. Ali (Head of School) and Ms. Stephanie (Assistant Head of School) has been a constant source of reassurance for us. Dr. Ali and Ms. Stephanie know everyone's name (parents included) and the goingabouts in each classroom. We also regularly see them playing with the children because they genuinely care about the students. As for the "montessori philosophy," I just thought it was another gimmick. But I was wrong! Our daughter's time at Guidepost Kendall Park has been marked by independence, curiosity, and a love for learning. Each day she comes home having learned a new skill (e.g., completing complex puzzles, drinking out of a tiny cup on her own, knowing how to put her toys away, doing the hand motions to "the itzy bitzy spider," etc.). I know she did not learn that stuff from us and I believe that not all daycares have the structure in place that enables children to learn these skills. To sum it up, Guidepost Kendall Park has given our daughter the best possible start in life, and for that, we're immensely grateful. Unfortunately, we are moving out of state and have to leave Guidepost Kendall Park at the end of the month. We will be transferring to another Guidepost school (which Dr. Ali and Ms. Stephanie helped facilitate). We can only hope the new school will be as great as the Kendall Park school.

I do not recommend Lightbridge Academy based on my experience with their Plainsboro location. My…read morechild, who has developmental delays and feeding-related medical needs, was enrolled here. Despite multiple conversations, written documentation, and coordination with her therapists--including Early Intervention providers visiting the school--the staff consistently failed to meet her basic safety needs. On her final day, I discovered she had been given water by a teacher who was unaware of her feeding plan. My child has documented swallowing difficulties and is not permitted to drink water at daycare. I received two completely different explanations from staff: one teacher (Ms. Subarna) claimed in writing that she had not been given water at all, while another (Ms. Corrine) told me she had. After I raised the concern, the Brightwheel log was altered to remove the mention of water. This wasn't just a mistake--it was a serious communication breakdown with conflicting accounts and document tampering. Before I even arrived to pick her up, I watched via the classroom camera as my child picked up another child's water bottle, put it in her mouth, then handed it back. No adult was present at the table. She could have choked or aspirated. No one informed me of this--I saw it myself. The administrators later admitted it happened and described it as "unacceptable" and promised to retrain staff. But that's not good enough when you're talking about a child's medical safety. This was not an isolated issue. On another occasion, I watched via the cameras as my child was left unsupervised at a table with another child who had a cracker. She took the cracker and put it in her mouth. At the time, she did not eat solids and this posed a clear choking hazard. No one notified me--it was something I discovered on my own. Incidents like this were repeated and avoidable, and reflect a serious failure of basic supervision protocols. Throughout our time there, we experienced: * Staff regularly failing to follow her feeding therapy plan * Teachers giving her bottles after purée against clear written instructions * Another child sleeping on her crib sheet, and her sleeping on another child's bedding * Ongoing lack of support despite her being diagnosed with global developmental delays * Frequent turnover of teachers, many of whom were unfamiliar with her accommodations * Repeated miscommunications, lack of consistency, and disregard for therapist recommendations Even more troubling, the head teacher of the infant classroom repeatedly told me my child was meeting her milestones--despite our child receiving Early Intervention services and having a formal diagnosis of global developmental delay. After I shared the findings of her speech-language pathologist, this teacher admitted they have "more information and training for toddlers not meeting milestones," and that they "don't have much training on infants with delays." That is unacceptable. That is their job. They are entrusted with the care and developmental monitoring of infants, and this admission reveals a lack of basic preparedness and staff training that puts children at risk. When I brought these concerns to the director, Ms. Krupa, I was told there are "tons of other great schools in Plainsboro." Rather than taking immediate responsibility, I was subtly encouraged to find a better fit. That's exactly what I did. This will be documented with the state. My child should not have had to be the reason they finally decided to 'do better.' If your child has special needs, medical concerns, or requires any accommodations--I urge you to look elsewhere. I hope no other child gets hurt before real changes are made.

Its amazing to see how they bring smiles to all the kids as soon as they enter the daycare. Can't forget the time when my baby was crying and the infant teacher just held her for 1 second and she stopped crying. Just knowing that there are caring arms at this center!!

Two days later, worrying I may of messed up waiting so long they came out and filled the tank! $10 hazardous charge and lower price from my other supplier. I will definitely be using them again!!! I write to extol and celebrate the virtues and amazing craftsmanship of Michael Virok, the owner of…read more@theGuitarRescue.com and a Luthier extraordinaire. This review has been a long time in coming, due to several serious family medical issues combined with a move to another state, and it is a review that I am grateful to finally write. Michael graciously and kindly helped me to complete the final (and most important) phases of mods on my 2006 Gibson SG Standard. My overall goal was to switch the colour-scheme of the hardware to Black, and so that it also had the "Doom" affinities of my previous guitar, an ′86 Jackson Custom made in the San Dimas workshop. The first phase of mods began with the installation of new tuning pegs and control knobs. I was able to get some Grover 102BC Original Rotomatic Black Chrome tuning pegs to replace the original faux-ivory white ones, the latter of which have really thin attachment posts (which I have seen break due to desiccation a few times). I always loved the control knobs on my Jackson, so I got a set of four Proline Back Chrome Textured Dome ones, which feel like home to me. The next phase of mods involved replacing the Gibson pickups with something more suited to my style of playing. I decided to go with the EMG Zakk Wylde 81/85 Humbucker Set in Black. Both of these are active pickups, like the one in my Jackson. I went to one of the big-box stores for the installation and when I picked it up, the tech (i.e. not a luthier) said that since the electronics cavity of an SG is notoriously small, he was unable to fit the battery inside of the cavity, and it was returned to me like this. He suggested that I find a luthier who could rout out a battery-box to ameliorate this situation, because the store didn't even have the proper tools for the work. I was, like...WTF. So, I found a real Luthier in Michael Virok. He was able to discard the splitter connecting the new pickups and wired them directly together so that a battery could actually fit in the cavity - without having to rout out a battery-box to the side of the cavity. While this setup may use batteries more quickly, there was no need to do any invasive procedure to install something by doing it this way (which I thought was a great idea!). He did this while I waited. Gratis. The final piece of the puzzle was the installation of a proper tremolo system, and I asked Michael if he could put a Kahler whammy-bar on it, because I absolutely adored the Kahler on my Jackson. Michael acted as a de facto consultant on this, and he graciously helped me to determine which Kahler model would be the best-suited for my SG. Bear in mind, that literally no other luthier in a 100-mile radius said that they could do this...not even in Philly. He installed the Kahler 2200 and it works perfectly! Taken together, I offer my highest recommendation, without any reservation, for Michael Virok at The Guitar Rescue as the regional go-to Luthier extraordinaire. If you live anywhere within an hour-or-two of Lawrenceville, NJ and have the need to do something, anything with/to your guitar, PLEASE let him work on your axe! I drove all the way from King of Prussia (PA) based on his reputation alone, and was so impressed with him. He is kind, affable, and a consummate professional whose only concern is customer satisfaction. Harmony School has been a truly wonderful place for our family over the past four years. Our two children, now four and two, absolutely thrive in this warm and nurturing environment. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and committed to each child's growth and happiness. From day one, we felt welcomed and reassured by their caring approach. Not only is the atmosphere at Harmony loving and supportive, but the hours are also very accommodating for working families, which has been a tremendous help. My son has been attending Harmony since he was about 6 months old. He is our first and it's scary putting your trust in someone who isn't family. Luckily Harmony has become a part of our village! My husband and I see changes in his development every month and I have to thank Harmony for that. From the infant rooms to the toddler rooms (that is where he is at right now), he is learning fine and gross motor skills, as well as how to be social. As working parents, we have peace of mind knowing he is safe, learning, and cared about when he is not with us. The cost is high (what daycare isn't these days), but what we see with his development is worth every penny. We have been with The Harmony Schools since 2010 and we cannot express how amazing the staff and teachers are. Our three children have all gone through Harmony and we absolutely love this school! Each of our children loved going to Harmony every day, and we saw so much growth in their social skills, confidence, and learning. We have been with Harmony for 7 years between two kids both starting at 4 months old and it has been a wonderful place for our kids and our family. The staff and teachers who have worked at this school for years are so dedicated to the wellbeing and development of each and every child. We feel so blessed to have found a daycare home that has treated our kids and family with so much love and care. And Miss Crystal is a phenomenal educator and leader - my daughter had her as a kindergarten teacher before she took over and she is SO special in so many ways. read more

My 2.5 year old son currently attends Harmony, and previously my daughter attended for one year. It sounds cliche, but Harmony really does feel like a family. The teachers and staff truly do care for him with a fondness I have not experienced at other schools. He is so happy to go there every day and see his friends, and I feel so comfortable knowing he is safe and I will get excellent communication related to his day. Bonnie said it was there polocy not to give letters of recomendation. my sister needs this letter to complete her teaching certification here. If this place treats their long term staff, essential to their school like this, I question how they will treat your children. Are they just a number in an account book or are they valued as they should be. Parents look how a school treats their staff. For the past 4 years, my son has been fortunate enough to call Bright Horizons "home." We began our first daycare experience at the center when he was just 17 months old, and today was his very last day of Kindergarten Prep. Throughout the years, the staff at Carnegie have loved my son through some of the most difficult periods of our lives. Bright Horizons is not just a "drop and go" daycare; teachers care profoundly about the children at the center and their families. It is serendipitous that Ms. Karyn, who was my child's first teacher at BH, also turned out to be his graduating teacher in KP. She has been warm, flexible, and supportive through deep personal hurts, such as when my son's father and I navigated through a very messy divorce. (I was extremely touched by the way Ms. Karyn approached sensitive holidays like Father's Day, even going above and beyond to help my son make 2 projects-- one for his dad, who was predominantly absent from his life at the time, and one for his grandpa). She was also hands-on and supportive after we received my son's ASD diagnosis, and worked earnestly with his BCBA-D to support him. Ms. Karyn knows each of her students intently and is always going above and beyond to plan engaging curriculum that will "hook" them. Her classroom is a place of creativity and inquiry, where students are always learning and developing a love of learning, too. As I turned the pages in his KP book, I couldn't help but cry seeing all the love that Ms. Karyn had poured into my child-- even on days when it was so hard to love him. Ms. Barbara, the center's chef, has ensured my child's safety at school from Day 1. My son has severe food allergies and center staff have in place strict preventative measures and an Allergy Action plan that have kept him safe for the entire time that he has been enrolled at BH. Leadership is always transparent and responsive. When we first started at the center, Jen Albright and Tracey Pennington created an amazing culture of partnership between Bright Horizons families. Diane DeYoung and Courtney Hollosi have continued to build on their strong foundation, with Kelli Mueller also playing a large part in connecting with families. Finally, we cannot express enough gratitude to the other teachers who have loved my son as he have moved up throughout the years-- Ms. Ingrid, Ms. Charlene, and Ms. Jessica. I wish all of the staff at Bright Horizons my very best, and cannot express enough love and gratitude for the years of happiness that you have given my child. As we continue on our journey to Kindergarten, we will cherish the years at Carnegie and never forget the profound impact you have made on our lives.

They celebrate all the holidays and it makes you feel like you're part of an BIG family. They also have special themes throughout the year. I went today to register my child in the KinderCare at south Brunswick I also had Called the week prior to make sure someone was aware I would be coming in to register my daughter the following week. After my many conversations they seemed excited for my child to officially join them after having had a week of summer camp experience last year. When I arrived at the facility at 7:00am, I was met by Lauren who greeted me and proceeded to ask, "How can I help you?" I explained to her that I had come to register my daughter. I had a file of papers in my hands, and after I explained why I was there, Lauren abruptly said, "Well, my staff didn't advise me of this and they usually do so..." I was confused. I wasn't sure what came next so I apologized to her for her staff not telling her that I was coming but explained that I had spoken to the director and different staff members on numerous occasions( I had been calling for a while to make sure there was space after I feel in love with the facility last summer when my child was enrolled for a week of camp) to ensure my daughter could indeed be registered, with the director even telling me that my child can start the same day that I register her. I asked to speak to the supervisor or director at that point Lauren said "You're speaking to her" Claiming to be the Director/Supervisor herself. Lauren asked my child's age and when I provided her that information she said "Sorry, we don't have space in that classroom." I asked "When did that change occur?", and began to pack my paperwork and information back in the folder. Which upset Lauren . Lauren was walking towards the phone when I asked her that question and began packing she stopped dead in her tracks and said...... "YOU SEE, I WAS GOING TO HELP YOU, BUT SINCE YOU HAVE AN ATTITUDE I DO NOT FEEL LIKE GOING THE EXTRA MILE FOR YOU" I explained to her that I didn't have an attitude, I explained it was early and I had a lot of running around to do before I went to work. I was baffled, I was embarrassed and mostly I felt so little at that very moment, knowing I had to still drop my other child off to camp, and then drop my little one back at camp. I knew I had to get to work, and had did my part to ensure there was space on the previous working day. Lauren proceeded to cross her arms and say "We will not be accepting your child at this moment, goodbye I'm done here" I (embarrassingly) had tears in my eyes and said, "I'm lost you were just about to 'go the extra mile for me'' I said "What did I do? What do you want me to do? I really need to register my child" Lauren said "Goodbye now" To make matters incredibly worse, I called after I left, maybe partially hanging on to the hope that Lauren would see the error in her ways and make it right. I explained to Lauren once again what the situation was, I explained in detail everything that has happened that lead to now. Lauren sat unreasonably quiet on the phone , when I finished my last sentence she began to talk down to me and repeatedly telling me over and over she wasn't going to help me and my child would NOT be registered, and she wasn't going to do anything about it. I asked "Why? That's not good practice to tell a consumer that you wouldn't go the extra mile for them" Lauren then said, "Why are you cutting me off. I'm done here" and hung up. I learned that Lauren was actually the Program Specialist. I later called and spoke to the site director, Tiffany, whom I have spoken to in the past regarding making sure there was space for my child. Tiffany apologized to me and stated that someone should've taken my information down when I called those many times, to keep me updated. She remembered hearing about my child and I. She explained that they just had an open house on that Friday and it filled up rather quickly, before I came and that if they had my number they would've called but no one took down my info . I've left several messages for Mrs. Anthony who is in the corporate office and am awaiting a call back by next week , which is when she comes back for vacation. A rep called me a couple days ago and again apologized over and over. I honestly just feel discriminated against. I challenge anyone at KinderCare to dispute anything I said . I am outraged and humiliated. Believe it or not this was shortened to fit helps review limit

Owner Bryan, center heads Danielle and Katie are approachable and accommodating. They go the extra mile for kids and parents alike. They host various events that are well though out (breakfast events, thanksgiving lunch, to-go coffee, open house evenings and parents night out... the list is endless). And their summer camp is just amazing. I wish our son could stay here forever :) I will also add that we moved here from another school in the area that was just positively horrid (happy school). I am sure my son missed the school, and especially his lead teacher Miss Sarah (toddler one class). Miss Sarah is an amazing teacher! I cannot imagine a better first teacher for my son. In addition to taking care of my son, she also put a lot of thoughts to his developments, trying to help him engaging more in various activities, and teaching him a lot of different things. We are so grateful for her. There is a lot of helpful communication and feedback during pick up time, and during the meetings with parents a few times a year. All other teachers are also great. The daily report with pictures and details is also very helpful. We are also very happy with the administration. When we visited for a tour, Ms Danielle was very helpful and friendly which was the main reason we chose Goddard. Ms Danielle is not the director there any more (she now owns another Goddard school) but all other staff are also nice. I would like to recommend the Goddard school Princeton without any reservation.
