I do not recommend Lightbridge Academy based on my experience with their Plainsboro location. My…read morechild, who has developmental delays and feeding-related medical needs, was enrolled here. Despite multiple conversations, written documentation, and coordination with her therapists--including Early Intervention providers visiting the school--the staff consistently failed to meet her basic safety needs. On her final day, I discovered she had been given water by a teacher who was unaware of her feeding plan. My child has documented swallowing difficulties and is not permitted to drink water at daycare. I received two completely different explanations from staff: one teacher (Ms. Subarna) claimed in writing that she had not been given water at all, while another (Ms. Corrine) told me she had. After I raised the concern, the Brightwheel log was altered to remove the mention of water. This wasn't just a mistake--it was a serious communication breakdown with conflicting accounts and document tampering. Before I even arrived to pick her up, I watched via the classroom camera as my child picked up another child's water bottle, put it in her mouth, then handed it back. No adult was present at the table. She could have choked or aspirated. No one informed me of this--I saw it myself. The administrators later admitted it happened and described it as "unacceptable" and promised to retrain staff. But that's not good enough when you're talking about a child's medical safety. This was not an isolated issue. On another occasion, I watched via the cameras as my child was left unsupervised at a table with another child who had a cracker. She took the cracker and put it in her mouth. At the time, she did not eat solids and this posed a clear choking hazard. No one notified me--it was something I discovered on my own. Incidents like this were repeated and avoidable, and reflect a serious failure of basic supervision protocols. Throughout our time there, we experienced: * Staff regularly failing to follow her feeding therapy plan * Teachers giving her bottles after purée against clear written instructions * Another child sleeping on her crib sheet, and her sleeping on another child's bedding * Ongoing lack of support despite her being diagnosed with global developmental delays * Frequent turnover of teachers, many of whom were unfamiliar with her accommodations * Repeated miscommunications, lack of consistency, and disregard for therapist recommendations Even more troubling, the head teacher of the infant classroom repeatedly told me my child was meeting her milestones--despite our child receiving Early Intervention services and having a formal diagnosis of global developmental delay. After I shared the findings of her speech-language pathologist, this teacher admitted they have "more information and training for toddlers not meeting milestones," and that they "don't have much training on infants with delays." That is unacceptable. That is their job. They are entrusted with the care and developmental monitoring of infants, and this admission reveals a lack of basic preparedness and staff training that puts children at risk. When I brought these concerns to the director, Ms. Krupa, I was told there are "tons of other great schools in Plainsboro." Rather than taking immediate responsibility, I was subtly encouraged to find a better fit. That's exactly what I did. This will be documented with the state. My child should not have had to be the reason they finally decided to 'do better.' If your child has special needs, medical concerns, or requires any accommodations--I urge you to look elsewhere. I hope no other child gets hurt before real changes are made.

Its amazing to see how they bring smiles to all the kids as soon as they enter the daycare. Can't forget the time when my baby was crying and the infant teacher just held her for 1 second and she stopped crying. Just knowing that there are caring arms at this center!!

After a month and a half, we are still convinced that we had made the right decision. The curriculum for toddlers is great and the teachers provide the personal care that children need. We are amazed to see how Ms. Geetha cares for each and every child. We have our peace of mind knowing that our daughter is in good hands. TLE West Windsor is doing their best in this crisis situation. They strictly follow all the CDC guidelines and try to make it a safe place for everyone. But unfortunately the most important part of the whole experience - the toddler classroom teacher/caretaker was not so good. We first met her when she came to Directors office while we were there for our tour appointment and she was staring at our kids weirdly [ so much and so long ] that even the director Ms. Geetha had to ask her why is she staring like that. We ignored at that point , and then I scheduled a play date before I get my kids enrolled. During our tour [ we had taken our kids for it] we went to the toddler classroom. kids were still getting up from their nap. but I saw almost no interaction from her with them and there was another helper Bhoomi who was doing it all. during our play date, just before we enter the classroom with kids we saw she just picked up the box full of blocks [ I suspect that she got notified that we are coming to room] and just emptied it on floor [without even bending down]. Again there was just no conversation with any of the kids there what so ever.. not even come lets play, lets build blocks etc.. kids started playing on their own. then while we were there another parent came to pick up her kid and again there was no hello or any conversation initiated by her until the parent ask her about how did her child do today. and I was surprised to see her response on the question.. she just said that the toddler still takes off her shoe [nothing about what did she do through out the day] and that's it. on top of it, we still thought that let the kids play for some time and we waited outside to see how good they are feeling with the place. then we waited in the Directors office , where within 5 mins we heard and saw them crying on the tv installed in directors office. we still waited for another few mins before rushing to classroom, as we thought that teacher will make some attempt to calm the kids and literally there was hardly any and she immediately called us to come and get them. and she said that they were playing well [ which we were seeing the tv from office], an one put something in mouth, where she asked to take that out, and the kid started crying. then we just came out and in spite of all great things about the center we decided not to opt for the same atleast till my toddler goes to next class or at least the teacher is changed. We went to some other classrooms where elder kids were there and we found them and teacher enjoying and learning on the digital screen. The problems at this school began when the previous head of school, Mr. James, left. Since Mr. James left we have experienced the following: 1. The School LOST our child - On one occasion, our child left her classroom and the school did not know where she was. To make it worse, they never informed us about the incident and had to learn about it from another parent whose child left the classroom with my child. I was told by other parents that this was not a singular event. After the incident, the school (after refusing my request to fire the teacher) agreed to never assign that teacher to supervise my child ever again. This agreement lasted for several months until the school started assigning that teacher to watch my child again. Additionally, when I confronted the head of school about the event, he informed me that he did not tell me about the event because I was pregnant and he did not want to "upset" me. 2. TIME OUTS - My child kept complaining that a particular teacher would separate her from other kids and put her in time outs. The time outs would occur on a chair that was away from other kids. 3. TELLING/MAKING MY DAUGHTER FEEL THAT SHE IS A BAD GIRL - My child told me that a particular teacher tells her that she is a "bad girl". 4. TICKS - The playground is full of ticks. After finding two giant ticks on my child, I informed the school of the problem. They did not respond to my email or treat the playground for ticks. Since then, I have learned that other children have also come home with lots of ticks. 5. DEPOSIT - When I informed the school that I was leaving, the school told me that they would be returning my entire deposit. I believe they did this due to my experience and to deter me from speaking out against them. Well...low and behold, I never received the deposit and when I confronted the school several months after I left, I was told that they never said that they would be returning my money despite me having the emails to prove it. The school's (almost) saving grace are Ms. Puja, Ms. Savi, and Ms. Varshini, who are caring teachers. Unfortunately, the administration's incompetence and carelessness is too much to overcome. If you are interested in a Montessori education, I have heard good things about the Guidepost Lawrenceville location. Just please for your mental health and your children's safety DO NOT enroll them in the Princeton Meadows school.

The toddler classroom is a beautiful learning environment for all of the children in their. I have seen many toddler classrooms that are chaotic. For the past 4 years, my son has been fortunate enough to call Bright Horizons "home." We began our first daycare experience at the center when he was just 17 months old, and today was his very last day of Kindergarten Prep. Throughout the years, the staff at Carnegie have loved my son through some of the most difficult periods of our lives. Bright Horizons is not just a "drop and go" daycare; teachers care profoundly about the children at the center and their families. It is serendipitous that Ms. Karyn, who was my child's first teacher at BH, also turned out to be his graduating teacher in KP. She has been warm, flexible, and supportive through deep personal hurts, such as when my son's father and I navigated through a very messy divorce. (I was extremely touched by the way Ms. Karyn approached sensitive holidays like Father's Day, even going above and beyond to help my son make 2 projects-- one for his dad, who was predominantly absent from his life at the time, and one for his grandpa). She was also hands-on and supportive after we received my son's ASD diagnosis, and worked earnestly with his BCBA-D to support him. Ms. Karyn knows each of her students intently and is always going above and beyond to plan engaging curriculum that will "hook" them. Her classroom is a place of creativity and inquiry, where students are always learning and developing a love of learning, too. As I turned the pages in his KP book, I couldn't help but cry seeing all the love that Ms. Karyn had poured into my child-- even on days when it was so hard to love him. Ms. Barbara, the center's chef, has ensured my child's safety at school from Day 1. My son has severe food allergies and center staff have in place strict preventative measures and an Allergy Action plan that have kept him safe for the entire time that he has been enrolled at BH. Leadership is always transparent and responsive. When we first started at the center, Jen Albright and Tracey Pennington created an amazing culture of partnership between Bright Horizons families. Diane DeYoung and Courtney Hollosi have continued to build on their strong foundation, with Kelli Mueller also playing a large part in connecting with families. Finally, we cannot express enough gratitude to the other teachers who have loved my son as he have moved up throughout the years-- Ms. Ingrid, Ms. Charlene, and Ms. Jessica. I wish all of the staff at Bright Horizons my very best, and cannot express enough love and gratitude for the years of happiness that you have given my child. I am sure my son missed the school, and especially his lead teacher Miss Sarah (toddler one class). Miss Sarah is an amazing teacher! I cannot imagine a better first teacher for my son. In addition to taking care of my son, she also put a lot of thoughts to his developments, trying to help him engaging more in various activities, and teaching him a lot of different things. We are so grateful for her. There is a lot of helpful communication and feedback during pick up time, and during the meetings with parents a few times a year. All other teachers are also great. The daily report with pictures and details is also very helpful. We are also very happy with the administration. When we visited for a tour, Ms Danielle was very helpful and friendly which was the main reason we chose Goddard. Ms Danielle is not the director there any more (she now owns another Goddard school) but all other staff are also nice. I would like to recommend the Goddard school Princeton without any reservation.
