If your picking up din din they have a lovely selection of slightly dated magazines and newspapers as well as an array of comic books for the kids to keep them quiet if they happen to be with you for the experience. I almost always order the fried rice and the chicken chow mien, so generic but so good. Lyton's totally satisfies that Chinese food craving that you have and is both comforting and delicious. The thing that tops it is that the staff I've encountered each time are super friendly and always have a smile on their face. It's almost refreshing to see such a happy staffing situation and certainly keeps me coming back.

Starting with the food we have enjoyed most of the delicious food on the menu and If you peruse their menu online you will observe that their prices are quite reasonable. Our favorite dishes on their menu are the Salt and Pepper Squid and the Salt and Pepper Chicken; we use it as the benchmark dishes when comparing to other Chinese restaurants. As it relates to the service; whether we dine in or order take away we are always greeted with genuine friendliness and a few of the staff have even taken the trouble to greet me by my name. If you live in the Hills or are just visiting and you feel like Chinese food then I highly recommend Yee's Palace as being one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Hills, if not the best. This is a family run business which has been taking care of the Wentworthville folk for some 20+ years! The Satay combination is always a winner.. It comes out on the plate with a little fire burning in the middle.. (Always makes the kids smile!) Also the Salt and pepper calamari are scrumptious!! Make sure you have a Deep Fried Ice cream.. And whenever you visit make sure to give the old lady behind the counter the biggest smile, hug or tip! She's in her (must be 70s?) and always remembers every person who walks in the door.. Don't forget your fortune cookies too!!
