Corky's catering was terrible for my son's wedding. When discussing the issues with the chef and…read morethe owner, their response time was a joke. After repeatedly saying they would call, there would be no phone call. They cross contaminated food and made it unsafe for several guests, including the groom! They do not take food allergies seriously and their staff is NOT knowledgeable. After making several guests sick, they did not seem to have much concern at all. Choose a different catering service if you want a company that delivers what they promise. Corky's was a huge hassle and didn't stand by their work!

I…read morewas very impressed, so when my sister wanted a photo booth for her microwedding, I reached out to Mike. From the initial quote/contract, to the picture frame template, all the way to set-up, Mike was an excellent communicator. I honestly have nothing negative to say because it was truly a great experience all around. The photo booth quality was perfect. Lots of options (still pictures, boomerangs, gifs, etc.) and filters. The app was so easy to use, and it was convenient to send yourself the pictures via text or email. You also get an album of all the pictures after the event. It was one of the highlights of my sister's microwedding - everyone was raving about it! I think the company is still fairly new, and I assume business has been hit hard by COVID, so I really hope they stick around because I would 100% use them again!

I've…read morehad varying experiences ranging from "somewhat disinterested" to "extremely passionate" from the different operators I've talked to. Fortunately, In Light Photo Booths is on the side of extremely passionate. In Light Photo Booths provided a booth for one of the events I recently attended. In some places, like corporate events, weddings, large restaurant -- the booth is a bit of an afterthought or just another activity for attendees to participate in. At this event, the booth was the center of attention with a long line. After my experience here, I can see why people were willing to wait for their turn at the photo booth. The setup was impressive. There was a large backdrop with a huge assortment of well organized props to choose from. The machine provided a digital display for attendees to see themselves before each picture was taken, and then flashed via strobe light using a shoot-through umbrella for diffusion. Mike was very friendly with the guests and helpful in making sure they got the best results possible. The results were high quality with minimal shadows. Users were provided with a printed copy of the photos as well as a download link texted to their phone. I was glad to get a full HD copy for social media purposes instead of having to scan a photo that night. As a photography enthusiast myself, I enjoy chatting with photographers at the different events I attend. I was very surprised in my conversation with Mike about his setup. His passion for his business is very apparent in his interactions with guests, and his energy is limitless. But he also had a very deep understanding of the technical aspect of his craft. This includes the use of speed lights, strobe flash, soft boxes, or continuous lighting --- as well as all the possible diffusion options for the light. He has an eye both for the composition of the photos as well as the creative side. Overall, the experience with In Light Photo Booths was a very positive one. It's clear that the company aspires to specialize in only one product, which is to provide an unforgettable photo booth experience.

Absolutely one of the most pleasant vendor experience of our special day! Must not miss out!…read moreElements Preserved was my discovery during my Bridal Shower, for a peacock chair, and then revisited for my sister in law's Baby shower. Element's pieces made a statement, that had our whole family and friends in awe. I knew we had to have Elements Preserved pieces for the Wedding day as well. It is absolutely worth the effort to go in person and see the warehouse in its entirety. Beth's eye for detail and creative mind really is present in the beautiful space. The moments in her warehouse alongside my-then Fiance brought the most excitement and warmth when choosing which items to rent. Truly fine-tuning our aesthetic, our personality, our love story and finding items that reflected who we are. Throughout our wedding we had moments with each other where we could look over and see those pieces scattered through our cocktail hour and reception that made the biggest impact. I could not have imagined our wedding day without those gems form Elements Preserved. Thank you Beth for your guidance and passion. It would not have had that loving essence anchoring us. We thank you for your part in our journey!

The husband is one of the more interesting people on the planet (ask him about himself) is an avid motorcyclist (actually a Harley mechanic), a CPA and attorney. His life partner and amazing wife is an LCSW and intuitive of such incredible talent that I'm astounded by what she senses everytime I am around her! Together they're the friendliest hosts on the planet and more interesting than any group you'll ever meet! I recommend this as highly as I've ever recommended anything! There is an inground pool that is incredibly well maintained just outside of the "speakeasy" which is an authentic recreation of the hidden, clandestine namesake that is gorgeous in every detail. Hidden within the speakeasy is a 'Captain's Suite' which is one of the most elegant, perfectly appointed bedrooms that I have ever been in. It is the ultimate in pampered privacy for anyone who wants to escape the madness and chaos of the world and relax in the safe comfort of a secluded world inside a secluded patch of nowhere. One of the advantages of staying here, or visiting for a workshop or meeting is that it is not an easy place to find. Most GPS will try to take you down Lilly Road as the last turn before you arrive at the destination. However, instead of turning right onto Lilly, continue straight on Lenz Road and continue to Muirhead Road where you'll turn right and continue until you find the address. It is a little hidden but the value of its obscure streetside presence will be revealed when you come upon the property. It is exquisitely secluded in a silent splendor all it's own and you can feel the "whoosh" of the energy of civilization exhausting itself from your energy field. You can also find it by searching for "Serenity Forest Campton Hills" which is a more accurate address: 9N313 Muirhead Rd, Campton Hills, IL 60124.
