Like some other reviews say, you can definitely hear noise from the other rooms filling up their tubs but it's nothing obnoxious or even loud it just comes with being in a hotel full of people. We also doordashed a pizza and there was no issue getting it delivered right to our hotel door. Definitely worth your money! Check out downtown Geneva if you visit, it's such a cute town!

Dust on basically everything. Headboard was not wiped down or we wouldn't have been able to see other ppls past fingerprints. Fridge door was not properly cleaned. Not to mention we had cold water to shower with and in the whirlpool tub to use on Saturday. I asked the front desk if this was normal cause it's never happened before and we've stayed many many times here in the past but I will say this hotel has gone down a lot in past couple years. He said they had a two boilers for it one had broke down but just got to working again they think. Well it wasn't. I didnt think I'd be paying $800 for two dirty rooms with cold showers. We have decided not to ever come back to this location again. No one helped us just made excuses. Hotel is dated, they even used clear tape to hold up some of the wallpaper in the breakfast area. Also had a weird odor throughout the hotel. Ruined our valentines weekend stay out of the house that's for sure.

There are not any USB charging ports in the room. Low, dated toilet and what appear to be dated tub and fixtures. There is a coin operated laundry with no access to obtain change for the machines. I was sent over to the hotel next door to obtain change. To top things off, there is a daily charge for parking, in their own parking lot! We were very disappointed with our stay as we don't feel this hotel lives up to Marriotts standards.

While this location offers the same breakfast items as the Hampton Inn and Embassy Suites, at this Garden Inn location, you have to pay $16.80. They had a man go around filling your coffee mug and getting your food, but again, it's the standard free breakfast items you'd find at other Hilton chains, which explains why we met up and got the items ourselves. Needless to say, the next morning, I went to a local place for breakfast and paid less than $10.00. Next, I checked in late Monday and went to Jewel Osco for work items: a case of water and snacks to keep my team focused and uplifted. Well, after returning, I found out that a water main had broken, flooding some lower-level rooms, and that the fire marshal had shut down the elevators. The manager got two staff members to help me with my grocery bags since I was on the third floor. He told me that he could book me into another hotel. Still, if anyone knows anything about the Chicagoland area, the bedbug capital of the US, it is Chicago, followed by Cleveland and Detroit. So, no, without researching, I'm not moving to another hotel. Besides, has anyone read my Embassy Suites review that mentioned black mold being painted over? By Wednesday, the elevator still wasn't working when I checked out. It was a pain bringing down my hug roller bags, computer bag, and tools, but at least I'm not bringing critters with me. The final issue was that the showerhead in the bathroom was pointed directly at the toilet, so the entire floor got soaked and became a slip hazard. Someone obviously didn't think that through! But wait, one more issue, the reading lamp didn't work; that was close to my bed. On a good note, the staff were friendly, and the hotel was clean, so three out of five stars.

Always helped when asked and answered all questions. was able to loan an induction hot plate so I could make one-pan meals. Pan included was very small so more for eggs than full meals for two. Rooms showed some wear but no major defects. Water pressure was okay but not strong. Tv dark balance was off and remote did not allow for adjustment. TVs were 4k sets and fairly large though. Beds were a bit firm but clean. Was a rough night rest the first night but a 30 dollar mattress topper really helped. Just think of it as an unseen add-on for the stay. Not hard, but needed some cushion. Internet speed was reasonable and only disconnected once or twice a day. Worked well enough for the occasional team meeting or call. Pool was heated but not hot. Still a little chilly but if you swam a little it was easy to shake the chill. Gym was small but functional. Some dumbbells one cable machine and 5 cardio machines. Breakfast was very basic. Egg circles, breakfast breads, a couple protein options and a waffle station. Not great but good enough to get you going. It's not a bad hotel by any stretch of the imagination. It's functional and works for the average traveler. There's some maintaining that could be done, and some accommodations could be better, but if you're in the state for work it will do.

The rooms were very clean with new furniture, nice bedding, and vinyl "wood" floors. The free breakfast was quite nice and included a pancake machine, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereal, oatmeal, and a pastry section. They also had yogurt and great condiments including Chula hot sauce and Nutella spread. My only complaint is that the pool was a bit cold. They need to turn up the heater a bit, my youngest was freezing and got out right away. No hot tub.

Had to call the front decks three times over quality issues during our one night stay and was put on hold for at least 7 minutes each time. When I was told no one would be fixing the TV during out stay, I asked about an accommodation and was told by the front desk employee that he would talk to the supervisor about a partial refund and call me back (as I was told no other rooms were available). After not receiving the promised call back, I called to follow up I was told the manager would call me in the morning to discuss a refund. That call back never happened either. It took five days to receive a response from corporate when I emailed customer service on their website. (Never did hear from the property we stayed at.) And then...instead of offering a refund...they gave me a token number of points in their frequency stay program meaning I would have to spend more money on their substandard product to receive any accommodation at all. Won't be staying with this chain again!

Flew into Chicago on 4/8/26 for my son's Navy Boot Camp graduation which was on the 9th…read more Unfortunately I wasn't on the guest list so I had to watch it on a live stream on my phone. The GM who's name i forget and the manager Kelly hooked us up with a laptop to watch it on then they took the extra step and hooked us up with a board room with a TV. I was so grateful, that these two amazing people went above and beyond for us. It doesn't stop there. My return flight was delayed by a few hours. Giovanni (big Barcelona supporter) gave me an extended checkout, no charge. I want to thank everyone at the Hilton, from the bartender to the wait staff. Every single one of you were absolutely amazing!!!
