I was in a bit of a time crunch the other day when I was TRYING to have breakfast but the milk came out in not-so-cute curds. Great... no milk for my milk based breakfast. I ran over to the local convenience store, Harmony, and did a quick shop.
First of all, I'd just like to say that the man at the counter was WONDERFUL. You know when you sometimes go into convenience stores and it's SO awkward cause the person at the front is watching your every move? Well, this was so not the case. He was just doin' his thang, and he let me do mine.
When I did finally make it to the front with a few things, he was completely polite and friendly and I really appreciated his demeanor considering I had had a bit of a cranky morning.
I did notice that the groceries I bought were a little more expensive than they would have been at a local grocery store, but such is the case for ALL convenience stores. They are always more expensive because they are charging for the...yup, you guessed it, convenience :)
All in all, my experience at Harmony Convenience Store was very pleassant and it added a refreshing touch to my otherwise not so great morning.
Thank you Mr. Harmony Convenience Store man... you made my day :) read more
