I am writing as a Harmony resident and frequent player of Harmony Golf Preserve. Today I had the opportunity to host clients for a round of golf, and unfortunately, I felt compelled to share my concerns regarding the current condition of the course particularly the greens. At present, the greens appear to be significantly deteriorated and not in a condition that justifies the current rate being charged. The overall playing surface has declined to a level that makes it difficult to provide an enjoyable or professional experience, especially when hosting guests or business associates. As a resident who takes pride in our community and its amenities, this is disappointing. The golf course is one of Harmony's most valuable assets and plays an important role in the reputation of our neighborhood. Charging premium fees while the course conditions are clearly below standard creates a disconnect that is difficult to overlook. One of the worst courses I've ever played. The fairways are in terrible shape with weeds and patches of dirt, but the greens are even worse, with weeds everywhere. There was no way to get a decent roll as the weeds bounced the ball in every direction but to the hole. The worst thing about the course is the fact they charge you well over $100 to play this dump. Not too crowded and a very peaceful setting. Not an easy course but a good challenge. Lots of turkeys and other exotic birds. Some greens were a little rough but for the price it's a decent value. Give it a try. read more

Absolutely loved this course. Starter kept things organized. Course was lush and in great condition. The removed some traps and made the course challenging but fair. Water comes into play - but does not overwhelm the course. Greens ran smoothly. Cart girl available. Reasonable rates. Stocked golf shop. A little out of the way - but worth the trip. read more

Wow how the mighty have fallen. Such a wonderful layout, never had a problem making the hour-plus drive or paying the high daily fee... NOW HOWEVER the conditions are so terrible it might as well be a $29 muni that allows walkers and 5 hour rounds. Most greens had bare patches, weeds, unrepaired ball marks and rough cup edges. Tee boxes are all weedy and full of dirt patches. Almost all fairways have a TON of weeds, bare spots, bumpy areas that should be marked GIR, and just terrible conditions everywhere. What used to be lush, grassy green fairways and playable but challenging rough has been let degrade into such a disaster. Good luck finding any grass cushion under your ball either on the fairway or the rough. The rough is almost all so sparse that your ball will likely be sitting on dirt between spaced tufts of weeds. Bunkers were ok in all fairness, no quibble with those. Greens were very soft, like they haven't been aerated, sanded and rolled in years. Every shot into the greens plugged, dove down and took out a big chunk that was almost impossible to repair. From beginning to end there's nothing to like here anymore except the layout. I'm a solid single digit handicap, played the blue tees, and kept the ball in play and it was still so terrible I didn't enjoy it at all. It's not the weather, because I'm a local and play many of the other coursss within 20-30 miles, only the cheapo ones have this nonsense. This is all on management and the greens keeping.staff, no other way this happens to a high daily fee course that doesn't have a ridiculous amount of traffic on it. read more

Started playing this course about 10 years ago on business trips to the Orlando area. So I've played it six times. First couple times this course was one of those hidden gems. Now not so much. Fairways, tee boxes and bunkers were in good shape, but greens were inconsistent as to speed, due to weed invasion and poor health of the grass. The restaurant closed and so there is no food and beverages available and thus no refreshment cart on the course. Thus the fees were slightly on the high side for such conditions. I'd give them one more try early next year when back in the area. read more

These guys are terrible! They charge dues to members that include pickleball and then charge nonmembers hourly rates to play pickleball and don't maintain the courts at all!!! There's been a broken net in one court for over 6 months. All the courts now have mold, mildew and slippery slime on them that makes them unsafe to play. If you're joining for the golf maybe that's ok as I don't play I don't have first hand knowledge but I've heard bad things around the community. Definitely don't join expecting decent pickleball! From what I hear though nobody seems to be happy with their membership or the way things are run there. read more

I came here with a paying member and a group of individuals attempting to get some photography done for a project we needed to do. We were racially profiled by an extremely belligerent employee by the name of "Scott" - We were not aware that there were certain requirements to being on the golf course, as we have been on the property before with no issue. If you care about your safety and you are a minority, I would avoid this golf preserve. They are not welcoming nor was their management really willing to help us with the situation. On Saturday, your employee Scott very disturbingly aggressively asked us to leave the property by stating "you people do not belong here". We calmly asked if there was a process and what that process would entail as the young lady getting her photos taken was a paying member of the golf club. He refused to answer any questions about how we may be able to access the property for this project and simply stated that he was a manager and that we needed to stop arguing with him. He began yelling insults towards us calling us names. There was a young woman serving drinks who was also present and came up to mediate the situation as soon as it happened. As we were talking to her, someone called him a name (a natural response due to the level of aggression and hostility he approached us with.) He then grabbed his golf club and came up towards us, threatening that if we wanted to call him an "asshole" that he would behave like one. He got within 1 foot of a young woman, holding up a club towards her insinuating he was going to beat her up. A young man got in between the two, however your employee Scott decided to keep walking around him to continuously approach her. We have recordings of this incident and it is my understanding that she does as well. . That interaction not only was extremely disturbing, but it was completely disgusting. From the aggression to the verbiage he decided to you. At the end of the day, the gripe is not with asking to be removed - it's for being attacked. I myself am a manager, and know company and association policies with representing the brand off the clock. At the end of the day, if he felt comfortable identifying himself and threatening us, you have a real bigger issue at hand than us. I want to remind you that you have no idea who you are dealing with and that situation could've been escalated and someone could've been seriously injured. the community deserves to not ever subjected to such vile behavior by one of your team members. read more

I have been playing at this course for several years now and for the most part have always enjoyed it. Booked a tee time for Saturday mid-morning 12/21/19 and had another great experience. The course conditions have improved since my last visit and I was very impressed with the greens. The tee boxes, fairways and bunkers were in good shape as well. The course is pretty open, has a good amount of water and can play long. But it is in a pretty rural area which I enjoy. Looking forward to playing here again! read more

To say i was disappointed would be an understatement. I was excited to play at this course. Especially being charged $60 for a mid afternoon tee time during the summer. I was ready to have a good round on what I thought was a "beautiful course" This is probably the WORST condition course I have ever been on. Fairways are a mixture of dirt and weeds. Tee box conditions are terrible. Never have I been so ready to finish 18 holes and get out of there. Would never go back. Save your money. I have never left a review especially a negative review as I am an easy guy to please, but I could not just let this go without a review. Bartender and staff was nice though. read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED - - No longer a Jonny Miller Signature course - they filled in most of the bunkers that made the course play so well. They must be hurting for money and or space - they built a pickle ball court ON what was the back tee box of hole number 10. Reshaped a few other holes on the back to build homes on the course - has lost much of its character. We were charged $70.00 buck bucks for a field .... not sure what they have done but they have lost their fairways and tee boxes to weeds! (Of course now they are overseeing for the winter which will hide the weeds - good luck when the warm weather comes back) They have cement cart paths but no one uses them - several holes have paths right up to the green - very little signage or a ranger keeping carts a safe distance from the greens. The day we were there, an elderly lady who told us she was member drove onto the green ...SMH! The greens are really nice - great pace - very wet, but nice! No weeds in the green and they putted well but the collars were full of weeds. We went to the bar afterward - the bartender told us they are separate from the golf course company and they don't get along very well! Wow, what a shut hole this course is. Played the back 9 and half looked like we were playing in the middle of a desert while the other half was flooded. Big areas of weeds and torn up fairways. Greens looked like someone ran over them with a 4x4 with 37's with big nobbys.. I like the locale since I live in harmony but not going back anytime soon even with my raincheck.. read more

I lowered my original rating due to the following reasons. Green fees were high for this time of year. Greens were nice but the fairways were rough and had crab grass in most areas. Most tee areas were bare while other tee areas should have been used. There was not a snack bar to get snacks while making the turn. You had to be seated in the resturant in order to eat. I think this golf course is trying to figure out what it is. Go someplace else until they figure out what they are supposed to do. read more

Harmony Golf Preserve is a Johnny Miller Signature Design Course. This certification as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Very friendly staff. All services. Fast greens typically of Florida hard to read. Plenty of water and sand with some precision shots required but mostly generous with fairways. All in all a good experience read more

This a great golf course and we've been coming here since it opened. This year the course is still in good shape but the change in management has lead to $12 buckets of balls, $6 beer and $30 replay rates. You'll enjoy the course for sure but overpaying for the extras if you're on a budget read more

WOW, this place it the TOPS. Yes, it's a bit out from Orlando, but that's not a bad thing. NIce atmosphere, great food at Graze, no huge crowds. Course if tough, but fair, which is what I want in a course. Download their iPhone app and get some tips as a first time player, it's not clear where you want to drive your ball. I use GOLFSHOT-GPS and that really helped with the overhead views. Greens were slower than I expected, but again, fair and nothing too crazy. Some where cut close, but fair. Some two teirs but big enough targets and fairly placed pins. Course is laid out such that even if you do have someone near you, you don't feel crowded. read more

Me and my three friends played on 7/8/2021. This was the worst maintained golf course we have played in central Florida. we pulled up and the young man that was suppose to help us with our bags just watched us carry our bags to the cart and load them. The only thing he handed us was a clip board to sign. The tee boxes and the fairways are bare and full of weeds, the back 9 was terrible there are dead areas where the sandhill cranes have destroyed and the golf course never repaired. I do not recommend this golf course. We played 18 holes an payed 60 dollars. I would not waist your money. read more

Disaster condition. This place is overrun with weeds and huge splotches of grassless fairway. They charged $63 for the worst conditioned course I've ever played. They should've charged an extremely low amount and warned people the shape they course was in. I will never go back. Absolutely pathetic. read more

The course is beautiful. The fees are cheap. The cart guys are awesome. The cart girls are pretty. The drinks are strong. And I still can't golf but it's always a good time out there. Just don't buy into any raffles they have there because it's BS! read more

Harmony Golf Preserve - Hitting the driving range before the sun goes down! - Golf Near Me - Harmony, Florida

This golf course is a Johnny Miller signature design and was built on a 260 acre wildlife preserve, hence the name. It's a tough track from the tips...7,400+ yards, 76.1 rating/136 slope. Troon Golf management company operates the facility and they put the play par at 4 hours 25 minutes. I've played Harmony several times over the years and it's always in great shape. Their website is current and has all the information that you need. All in all, this place is one of best public courses in town. It's worth the drive and I would recommend it to tourists and locals alike. Check it out! read more

My Harmony golf experience was exceptional! This course is nestled in the southeastern portion of Central Florida and is one of my favorite courses Orlando has to offer. Harmony offers 18 holes of well-maintained surfaces, rolling hills, elevation changes, and a moderately challenging course layout perfect for the weekend golfer. In addition, the clubhouse and restaurant staff were especially friendly and helpful. The restaurant, Crave, offers a tremendously fresh American food menu that was absolutely mouth watering delicious. Although standard green fees are somewhat pricey, Harmony often bundles packages with discount websites such as Groupon or GolfNow to make it more appealing to those on a tighter budget. I would highly recommend this course, and an Crave entrée, to others looking to play here. read more

I've been playing at Harmony for years and have never had a bad experience. I've played probably 75 rounds on the course and have always found it to be in great shape. In addition to its condition, it's one of the fairest courses I've played. Just about every hole gives you a risk/reward opportunity rather than forcing you to play a shot you may not have. The course is always well manicured and very rarely have I seen problems on the greens other than during aeration or severe dry spells. The range is nicely laid out with pins at good intervals, and the practice green is in good shape. If I could suggest one area to improve upon it would be that very rarely, if ever, do rangers check the course for speed of play. The course is hardly ever packed but there have been occasions when a slow group starts to stack up play. Other than that, it's a great course with beautiful scenery, wildlife and a challenging yet fair design. read more

The golf course is a very nice layout with some nice risk reward holes. The overall condition of the course was good. The tees did however need some attention. The greens were not in the best of shape either, but I was informed of that prior to playing (seasonal maintenance). The staff was helpful and friendly. I do understand that the course management has recently changed and that they are in the process of doing some improvements to the course, some of which were evident. Overall a nice experience and I am sure I will play it again on future trips to the Orlando area.. read more

Course is under a new management group that is sorely lacking. I Have been playing this course since it opened and have always enjoyed the track and conditions of the course. Not so yesterday, Saturday 3Feb18, it was an awful experience. The conditions are the worst I have ever seen at Harmony and they, greedy management group, severely overbooked the day. It took 1.5 hours to play 4 holes before we quit. It cost our foursome (all Low Handicaps) $240.00 to play and they would not refund are $$, only offer us a rain check to a place we will not return to until under different management and conditions are improved. If Johnny Miller saw his beautiful tract being brutalized and customers being taken advantage of he would not be happy. Integrity Golf Company needs to change their name, they have no Integrity. An expensive and ruined day. My group of 50 golfers will boycott Harmony and will avoid any course managed by Integrity Golf. read more
