Once you entree the area you can turn left to park your boats or turn right and have fun in the park. There's plenty of parking space, but it does not have a big parking lot. To the left area there are 2 dog parks- one for big dogs and one for small dogs. Both areas are fenced in, have plenty of space for the dogs to run around and are clean. Before you enter both parks you will see the rules to follow. To the right side is the children's park. There are 2 pavilion you can rent to have parties or gatherings. Each pavilion has at least 4 picnic tables and a grill. The small park is great for the little ones. The big park has a 2 story playing area, rock climbing and swings. In this area you will also see a tennis court for free!! Lastly, the bathroom is clean and roomy.

There is a little bit of shade, but not too much so keep that in mind. This is a good place for the dogs to run. There is nice grass and sand, no mulch. i'm not fond of the mulch at dog parks. I feel like it gets stuck on them if they are long haired. We enjoyed our visit here. There were no aggressive dogs, and there were nice dog lover owners here as well. Glad we found it, and walking around afterwards in the park is pretty by the water. There is also a kid's playground and bathrooms, so all is well here.

Lori Wilson Dog Park is the only area within Lori Wilson Park where dogs are permitted The fully fenced park features separate areas for large and small dogs. Nearby amenities include restrooms, picnic shelters, pavilions, and parking. The day I visited, the temperature reached a sweltering 105 degrees. Unfortunately, there wasn't any shade inside the dog park, which looked uncomfortable for both dogs and their owners. A few shade trees or covered seating areas would greatly improve the experience, especially during Florida's hot summer months. It could also use a few more obstacles or agility training pieces. Compared to other dog parks, this was bare bones. On the bright side, admission is free, making it a convenient stop if you're visiting Cocoa Beach with your dog. Outside of this designated dog park, dogs are generally not allowed elsewhere in Lori Wilson Park or on the adjacent beach, except during special events such as the annual Surfing Dogs competition held in April. It looks pawsitively awesome and I hope I make it back here for that one day.

If there aren't other people using it, you can just take your dog to whichever is available. You have to walk through two gates to get inside, so it helps prevent any escapes. There is a water fountain with a draining bowl for dogs to use. There is a well stocked poop bag dispenser and lots of trash cans. There are two single user bathrooms and some water fountains for people. They are clean, but at least one of them had a leaky faucet and a rusted lock that was very high (not good for kids or ADA). The cons of the park itself are that there was an area near the drain that had a hole under the fence. Also, the agility equipment was not there when we visited, but someone had left some balls, ropes, and frisbees for dogs to play. My dogs enjoyed running around, stretching, sniffing, and meeting some other dogs.

I am writing as a Harmony resident and frequent player of Harmony Golf Preserve. Today I had the opportunity to host clients for a round of golf, and unfortunately, I felt compelled to share my concerns regarding the current condition of the course particularly the greens. At present, the greens appear to be significantly deteriorated and not in a condition that justifies the current rate being charged. The overall playing surface has declined to a level that makes it difficult to provide an enjoyable or professional experience, especially when hosting guests or business associates. As a resident who takes pride in our community and its amenities, this is disappointing. The golf course is one of Harmony's most valuable assets and plays an important role in the reputation of our neighborhood. Charging premium fees while the course conditions are clearly below standard creates a disconnect that is difficult to overlook.
