They've even got a nice little Trail to walk down to the beach on and a bathroom right next to the dog park! This dog park has a massive dual gated entry also, maybe it's a Florida thing. They do have a poop bag dispenser and a few trash cans as well as a water faucet. They do have a few benches around the park but most of the seating seems to be brought from home! There are a few palm trees and most of the ground covering is grass although some of it is still sand. But there is a beautiful parking lot right next to the dog park

You park a bit away and then you have to walk across the ground to get here there is no sidewalk. But hey at least it is a dog park

There is a little bit of shade, but not too much so keep that in mind. This is a good place for the dogs to run. There is nice grass and sand, no mulch. i'm not fond of the mulch at dog parks. I feel like it gets stuck on them if they are long haired. We enjoyed our visit here. There were no aggressive dogs, and there were nice dog lover owners here as well. Glad we found it, and walking around afterwards in the park is pretty by the water. There is also a kid's playground and bathrooms, so all is well here.

If there aren't other people using it, you can just take your dog to whichever is available. You have to walk through two gates to get inside, so it helps prevent any escapes. There is a water fountain with a draining bowl for dogs to use. There is a well stocked poop bag dispenser and lots of trash cans. There are two single user bathrooms and some water fountains for people. They are clean, but at least one of them had a leaky faucet and a rusted lock that was very high (not good for kids or ADA). The cons of the park itself are that there was an area near the drain that had a hole under the fence. Also, the agility equipment was not there when we visited, but someone had left some balls, ropes, and frisbees for dogs to play. My dogs enjoyed running around, stretching, sniffing, and meeting some other dogs.

It is located right along the Banana River between Port Canaveral and Ron Jon's. The entire property is well-kept and manicured. It features a nice paved walking and jogging path for a workout or a peaceful stroll. Between the walking path and the river there is a covered walkway with pavilions that stretch along the water's edge. While manatee sightings can be hit or miss, the general peace and the chance to spot other creatures like dolphins and wading birds make a trip to this location worthwhile. Right off the parking lot, a fun detail that adds character to the park is the very nice statue of turtles. Taller than an average person. The park provides a good size parking lot that can comfortably fit about 25 cars, which is a huge plus, ensuring easy access even during slightly busier times. While the park does have bathrooms, they were unfortunately not the cleanest on the day of my visit. OVerall, Manatee Sanctuary Park is a nice place for visitors looking for beautiful scenery, and excellent paths for exercise. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing outdoor escape.
