Office futuristic and everyone is super professional. Went to get an implant placed. It was a bit on the pricey side and had to postpone, but in the process Dr Nevine discovered an issue with another of my tooth and recommended to take care of it with my primary doctor. Till this day thankful to him for saving my tooth, the issue was one of the root canals done 7-8 years back started to decays inside. My primary doctor couldn't see anything wrong with their equipment I insisted and provided the scan from Dr Nevine. Dr Alyassi from BD performed the procedure and after opening the canals found that we were literally couple of months away from this tooth being a goner. Long story short tooth was saved and still goes strong! Highly recommend the clinic to a friend!

I had just suffered through a week of hell from a different practice, where they botched the extraction of a tooth by failing to remove it completely, not inserting the bone graft properly (it came out), and leading to a hole in my sinus. Dr. Kramer did a full periodontal exam, including a CT scan, and showed me the damage done by the other practice. I was actually relieved because I had had such a horrible week of pain, lack of sleep, etc.. He then scheduled me for the soonest surgery possible, even though it meant him and his staff staying late. I'd never been super anxious about dental work before, but because of the recent trauma, I was incredibly anxious. I shouldn't have been. Dr. Kramer did the procedure without a hitch. I have had no postoperative complications in the two days since. Their professionalism is so appreciated. The fact that they're funny as well is a bonus. Great people!

My hygenist, Sarah, and the office coordinator, Laura, just couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. They are professional and gentle and fun.... They have two tvs you can watch during your treatment. Everything was pleasant even the xrays were gentle and rapid. . Dr. Fiorillo is a great character, as are his staff. She's clinically and technically fantastic, but her bedside manner (chair-side?) is great, too. She's comfortable and natural, but also involves you in your care, showing you what's going (they have a camera to take pics of your teeth so you can see what she's seeing), and helps you make informed decisions about what's best for you. And she's really balanced about it. I've never felt pushed into any decision, and equally never felt like she was too busy to take care of something. If she has time, she gives it to you. And if she doesn't, she and her staff have always been fantastic at figuring something out so you can get it taken care of soon and conveniently. I've been a patient for 7 years. I used to work near her office, so it was convenient, but not anymore. Despite that, I'm happy to make the trek into the city to see Dr. Aiken because I know I'm getting excellent care from someone who cares. I can say that about her staff, too.

While I was with the hygienist cleaning my teeth Dr Aiken came in and asked what was going on-I told her and she said let me take a look. She looked at the area and said i can refer a implant/prosthodontics who is the best. (It was already explained I had seen two dentists and hadn't made a decision) I was charged for a full exam. I didn't realize at the time and I had paid up front. Dr Aiken would not refund my money. She offered me a free exam but because of the dental work I'm having done it did not make sense, I would not need an exam for quite some time. I tried reaching out so many times to resolve this but she would not return my calls. Red Flag. Do not go to this dentist. With all of her years of experience she would know she did not give me an exam yet she charged me. I feel she must be desperate for money (I was a new resident in the area and was in search of a good dentist). I would Not recommend this dentist. I thought this was pretty shady. The notice said it was my "final notification before collections" -- yet this was literally the first time I had ever been contacted about it. The office has my email and cell number, and they regularly text me for appointments, but never once sent any email, text, or call about this balance. They said they had mailed letters, but I had moved and had specifically informed the office of my new address, so they knew mailed statements wouldn't reach me. Despite that, they never used any of the contact methods I actually receive. The charge itself was for fluoride, which I never would have agreed to if I had known it wasn't covered by my insurance. It was $98 -- something that could easily be written off considering the circumstances. When I explained everything and asked them to comp it, I was told the staff member "did not have the authority" to adjust the balance. But after I mentioned that I would leave an honest review describing the situation, suddenly she did have the ability to offer 25% off. That made it clear that the earlier "I don't have the authority" line was simply a pressure tactic, not the truth. Overall, the lack of communication, the inaccurate claim that I had received multiple notices, and the sudden shift in what they "could" do once I pushed back all felt really unprofessional. I would recommend being extremely cautious with this office, especially around billing and transparency.

I'm having a really infuriating experience so thought I would share:…read more -May 2021: I get new insurance and call their front desk to make sure they take my insurance. They confirm over the phone that they do - which means $0 charge for my cleaning. -May 2021: After my cleaning, they inform me that they actually don't take my insurance. I email them that they had just told me they did a week ago, and they say: "I'm sorry for any inconvenience or confusion, however Aetna is an Out of Network Dental Insurance Company. Sometimes Insurance Company will cover cleansing at 100 % for Out of Network Providers. We will adjust any payments if the insurance company chooses not to pay as a courtesy. I will Cancel any future appointments. Sorry about that!" -Aug 2022: I get a bill so I call them and explain the whole situation again and the front desk agrees that I shouldn't be billed and they would take care of it ASAP. -Aug 2022: I get another phone call from Polly (the office manager) saying that I must pay and that this is not their problem as it was my responsibility to contact my own insurance to confirm (I guess I shouldn't have trusted their front desk?) and they would be sending my bill to collections. I understand I got a service from them but I only went because they told me it would be no cost under my insurance. Polly insinuates this is my fault for believing their front desk and that she is in charge. Really disappointing experience.
