Our dog went through her final months in a good place due to their elite guidance, and when we recently had to put her to sleep due to medical issues common in a 14YO dog, I was amazed at the level of kindness and care they brought every single moment. I hope this place and Dr. Chris Knoebel's caring and high quality approach to veterinarian medicine expands in Des Moines. One of our dogs go here for a heart condition - our first emergency, and the first time they treated her, they fit us in the day before Christmas Eve, the very last half hour that they were open. Dr K was very upfront with us to tell us that our dog could pass away any time. Despite that, the team at MacRae has done their very best to help us give her the best care possible, without charging us a fortune even though they could. To date, in the last few months, they've probably saved my dog's life twice already. I'm forever grateful; they've really earned my trust. Highly recommend!
