Holes in the linings, and it's all concrete. I don't think it would kill them to update it more often than once every 20 years. Other than that, I like it ! I've had the food before, and when I got home, my house smelled like farts.

Pay play was pretty quick because not many people were golfing early November. It was pretty chilly and a little windy. A pretty nice track and layout as far as challenging for a golfer, but the conditions of the greens the leafs everywhere which I understand it's not their fault leafs fall, but the sand traps were terrible shape. What surprised me most was all the homes and townhomes built right on the course. You could miss the fairway by only 30 or 40 feet and put it into somebody's barbecue on their patio a few holes Pricewise it was only $42 to play which is pretty reasonable off-season rate, but I don't know if I would come back unless it's premium conditions spring summertime

They make use of the space that they have and is owned by the same people that own the big dog that is Majestic Springs, but the stakes are much lower. A large dip splits the course in half and can be a sticky situation if you're not great with your clubs yet, but a good drive can send you flying straight over it. The people golfing here and just looking for a good, fun, 9 holes. They're not here to get in and out before their wives find out, which is always great. I went with a group of three and took a short break at the club house before going to hole 6 to grab more drinks and a group of two ended up catching us, we let them play ahead of us and ended up talking to the older gentlemen briefly and they were incredibly friendly and easy going. You might not find the most serious people here, this is definitely a small, "screw it lets golf" on a whim spot to golf. The fairways are tight and bend often, leaving a big room for error for beginners (I've seen my own friend slice so bad it crossed two fairways), but without challenge you will never grow, so if you can keep it straight and accept the embarrassment, it's worth the play, but can get boring/old after going so much. If I had to describe it, "it gets the job done" when golfing. Not my first choice by any means but if I'm wanting to golf and I don't want to go far? Here I come.

My group of 8 golfers play hamilton county courses throughout the year. We avoided Sharon Woods…read moremost of this year due to bad course conditions. After being told by staff at another county course that conditions were greatly improved, we booked tee times on Friday, November 14. The course was still in extremely poor condition with most of the greens having numerous bare spots all over them. Tee boxes and areas around the fringes were also very poor. The most outrageous aspect of this experience was that we were charged the full $47 high season fee to play on this mess. For a group of players who have been loyal to playing Hamilton County courses for many years, this was extremely disappointing to say the least.

No driving ranges but 2 putting greens by each 9. i like that they use flag colors for front middle and back pin positions. They have a small pro shop and restaurant. Have not eaten there. This is a hamilton county course. You need an annual car permit that is 10 to 16 dollars based on your county residency. Sand traps are decently maintained. You can walk but it is a challenge. Back 9 is harder for walking.

I attended a wedding here last Saturday, and it was a very nice venue…read more My fiance was in the wedding party, so we got to check it out Friday, for rehearsal, as well as Saturday, for the wedding. I was shocked when the bride told me they let her set everything up on Thursday (no Fri. wedding there that week) - for our venue, we only get to start setting up about 2.5 hours before, on the day of! Food was very good but apparently was catered (not from the venue), I heard. The venue itself was very charming, as others have said on here, and looks like it would be a nice place to play golf - they have a restaurant too, and locker rooms (my fiance said the groomsmen got to get ready/hang out in the locker rooms before the ceremony). Their ceremony was going to be outdoors, overlooking a waterfall/water feature, but unfortunately it rained that AM and they held it indoors instead - the reception room/ballroom is large enough that this was no problem, and I guesstimate that they had about 80-90 guests, including the wedding party. It was rather windy out that day too so I was glad it was indoors. Overall, a very nice spot to hold a wedding.

I have completed 12 or so lessons and here are my experiences and I think what you can expect - and…read morewhat I would maybe do differently 1) I do well with the instant video feedback, more often then not I don't realize how jacked up certain parts of my swing are but when you can see it in front of you it makes a huge difference - I feel like Chris my coach was able to pick up a key or two in my swing to fix every time 2) The overall package prices are steep - no doubt about it, I picked up golf later in life after I finished residency/fellowship but certainly I wouldn't have been able to afford it prior to that. I didn't ask/enquire about financing or other payment options but I'd imagine that maybe is an option for some. However, if you factor in what I paid per lesson plus the 'free' 90 minutes of bay time a week it actually isn't a bad deal. 3) for me I took advantage of several of the fittings as well (driver, hybrid, woods) also they do have demo clubs of all the latest models so before I did my fittings I tried all the latest ping, taylormade, callaway, mizuno, titleist clubs during my practice sessions. 4) I would say you should have a good idea of what you actually want to work on - my mistake was working on irons every lesson for my first 7/8 lessons, I wish I would have sprinkled in a driver lesson earlier as I'm only really working on it now. 5) My kids are a little young to be golfing but I do see families come in where a teen is getting a lesson while their (presumably) parent is in the bay next door getting practice in which is also pretty cool - not sure how many places you could do that. There is some downtime typically when you are waiting for a bay if you get there early but the putting green in the main area is great so I generally just mess around there. My pro (chris) is great and certainly a lot of fun to work with would recommend him to anyone visiting.

The beer was cold and the food (typical bar food) was good and delivered quickly. Overall, consider this place to be an upper end indoor facility that was very comfortable. We will definitely return. Recommend for those crummy weather days when outside golf is scratched or just it's not pleasant to be outside.
