Talked to Detroit, who shot straight with me from the get-go. He said that the crack was too far gone and would keep spreading, no matter what we did. Told me to come see him when I was ready and that he'd give me a fair price when I did. Fast-forward about 1 week, and that crack had spread clear across my windshield (just as they had predicted!). I knew it was time to do a replacement. Even though I live on the North Shore, I came down to Gentilly to get the repair done because I had appreciated them being up-front and honest with me. I called ahead, gave them my VIN #, and asked if they had my windshield in stock (which they did). Drove over to their shop (not a flashy place; no bells & whistles; what you see is what you get). Sat in the shop while Dante replaced my windshield. I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. New windshield looks great, and the price I paid is the one I was quoted (which was very reasonable). Service was extremely polite and professional from start to finish. No frills at all, but make no mistake. These guys clearly know what the heck they're doing over there!

The employee answering the phones was very professional and knowledgeable. We set up an appointment time for the technician to come to our home to do the replacement. We were given a service appointment window of 8:30 AM- 12:30 PM. The day of our appointment our technician, Eddie, arrived at 9:45 AM. He promptly got to work and our entire windshield was replaced in one hour. The work was quality, Eddie was friendly and professional, and our vehicle was left clean. He gave us instructions to avoid a car wash (which was fine because it was getting ready to pour down rain that day!) We felt the price we paid was worth what we received and are very pleased with our experience. We would absolutely recommend Service Plus Auto Glass and would use in the future if needed.

My fiancee took our car in to have the rear windscreen replaced and I don't think I've ever known a worse experience, both in terms of the job done and the customer service. When she picked up the car, there was a number of large scratches on the paint work (photo of one included) that were absolutely not there when it was dropped off along with the repair itself featuring a number of wrinkles and kinks (see photos attached). When she flagged the issues, the repairman became very quickly incredibly hostile to a degree that left her incredibly uncomfortable and upset. His language and tone immediately aggressive, including swearing and accusing her of 'nit picking' and lying. He claimed the scratches on the car were already there. In an attempt to prove this, she was provided a photo of the car in the workshop before the work which is zero proof as when she left, the car wasn't in the workshop, so it had clearly been moved and the damage occured after she left. She was offered rushed, shoddy fixes on the issues she flagged as a solution to those. I cannot stress enough, do not, under any circumstances take you car for work with this shop.
