What a great facility. We brought our father ("Humpty Dumpty") here after a fall, and Harmar staff are putting him back together. It takes a special person to work with elderly and infirm. Harmer is full of these special people. Today we learned our OT therapist is a wide receiver on a professional women's tackle football team in Pittsburgh. Our attendant's father in law was on Iwo Jima. The nurse said helping people like my father was her life's wish. We are blessed that such wonderful people found their way to Marietta Ohio and my father's bedside. read more

The service is great and the employees genuinely care about the work they do. Tailoring- I had a pair of jeans brought in from loose fit to athletic/skinny. They did a 5 star job. I've also had several shirts done. My neck size is 17.5 which usually puts me in an XL. I typically wear mediums. They've been able to tailor my shirts giving them all a much cleaner look. I highly recommend both these teams at VS.

The problem is the inattentive staff who really don't care if you buy anything or not. We walked in and were basically ignored by all staff. Too busy on their phones and just standing around shooting the breeze. Felt awkward as soon as we entered because of this. Tried to strike up a conversation with one of the staff but was just meh. Was going to buy a suspension fork, crankshaft, and whatever else I could for my new bike build but we just left because it didn't feel like our business mattered. As much as I'd prefer to support a local business, I need that business to care just as much about me and its own business as I do. Sadly, I doubt we'll go back. No real reason to drive 25 to 30 minutes to be ignored. I can get the same level of customer service online since it was hands off, impersonal, and cold. Sad to have to leave such a bleak review because I was hoping to build a relationship with a bike shop near my new hometown.

From the number of times we were lied to at this facility, I must believe that it is not only condoned by management but encouraged. The staff will not communicate with you via phone. My family member's oxygen became unhooked and we had to call several times to get someone into the room to get it hooked back up. Then they lied to us and said that her oxygen was fine and she needed something else. Additionally, there is poor building design where some room call lights are recessed into the doorway and the nurses can only see them if they happen to be on that end of the hall.

Audiology Services offers good deals to US Veterans, which is terrific as we are a military family (Army, Air Force, Army Air Corps, Marine Corps, Army Corps of Engineers). The receptionist (from Mineral Wells, WV) was very kind, patient, and informative. Thought I would have to drop them off and come back, but Dr. Squires himself was there. Came out with a smile, and said he fixed me up on the spot...all under warranty except for a minor part. Sweet! Now Pops can hear the TV. A.S. of W.V. is O.K. by ME.

This company should in no way be trusted unless everything they tell you is in writing. They totally mislead me on the phone before I made the appointment. Update, the comment from that company does not apply to what I was told before making the appointment. I explained that I could not afford any co pays and was advised their would be none. I have been to others providers and have not had to pay any copays. I even asked if they would accept my insurance for the test and hearing aids if needed and was told yes. I then was advised after testing that my insurance did not cover hearing aids though them. I ended up having to make an appointment with another company and be retested as they needed my test results for hearing aids. This other company also waved the fees for giving me the retest. Again, I do not recommend this company without getting everything in writing first. As far as contacting their billing department, I did that before making review and got nothing but bs from them also. I will also be making a complaint with my insurance company regarding Audiology Services of West Virginia practice.
