It is actually one of the nicest places I have eaten in for a long time. The resultant itself is on top of a hill really out of the way, the scenery is breath taking and I bet it looks great in winter if snow has fallen. You could order a 2 course meal for £10 each and the portions were fairly generous and very nice. We were sat by a table beside a nice coal fire. It was a really nice atmosphere, the fire was a big bonus for me it really gave the impression of home cooked food. The staffs were very nice and brought the food fairly quick. I am even thinking about ordering Xmas dinner here.

It was a weekday night but there were still a fair few people in. Its odd that they close pretty early Monday to Wednesday but it musn't be worth staying open. I'd be surprised if most people actually come in here for a pre- or post- play drink as might be assumed by its close proximity to the theatre but I think we're talking about different circles here, different crowds. I'm sure it gets a lot busier at other times - as such clean, modern, relatively characterless pub-bars do. Prices were fine but we only stayed for one. Better when you're with a big group I'd say.
