So good we had to come back twice while visiting the island. This establishment is located in a business park toward the back. There is outdoor seating and limited parking. One sure sign I knew this place was going to be good was the amount of phone orders they were already receiving at opening for pick up. I ordered the pork tinono and my mom ordered the steak. Everything was flavorful and well cooked. I really enjoyed the sauce that came with the tinono. My mouth is watering just remembering it. If you're in the area, I highly recommend this place!

Harley's is one of my favorite places to eat local food, my favorites are the pork belly and the Kalbi beef, some of the best I have ever had in my life. The owner Tez is a great, she gives off the island vibes that I love. Can't wait to come back. Warning, they only open Tuesday-Friday,10 AM-6 PM.

Off the beaten path...a must try while on the Garden Island! The best Hawaiian barbecue I've ever had. If I knew of this place in the beginning of our trip we probably would have eaten here every night . Great service, good pricing for the portions and the flavor is amazing. The meat is so tender it melts off the bone. Mac salad is a must! Ample outdoor-seating.

I got the bbq pork ribs with fries and mac and everything was fire. The ribs were juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The fries were crispy, the mac was creamy, and it all hit the spot. Super satisfying meal. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in the area.

The food was AMAZING! Well seasoned and fresh. The service was great! The owners are very sweet as well. My boyfriend and I have been wanting more ever since we had it. We talk about this place often lol We will definitely be back when we go back to Kauai.

This was bookmarked for our last Kauai trip. We've been to Kauai several times so it was my mission for our last trip to try places we've never been during our past trips. I ordered sautéed mahi mahi with white rice and hubby ordered bbq beef ribs with fries. My fish was yummy and piping hot. Loved the mushroom cream sauce with capers. Hubby's ribs were ok, a bit on the sweet side. We were comparing it to Matiki's from back home in Cali and it's not a fair comparison. Nevertheless, we were not very impressed. I did enjoy the fries, though. My fish was 4 stars and hubby said his ribs were 3 stars for a total of 3.5 stars. The service was meh. The cashier wasn't the friendliest. I'm Asian so that doesn't deter me if food is worth it, but their famous ribs were meh, too. So, I'm rounding down to 3. It's a shack and there are a few tables outside. We were able to snag a table. They were busy with to-go orders.

The waiter was top notch, great recommendations, we did not need a reservation, but if it gets busy I would assume it would be ideal. 10/10 recommend if you want to have a nice dinner or brunch, it would be a nice place for a special occasion also! It was pretty high waves after a nearby tropical storm so that was fun to watch. The photo ops are incredible here. They have wonderful seating overlooking the water. Would be great to come here just for drinks. We started with an ahi sashimi appetizer. We pretty much get ahi sashimi at every restaurant in Hawaii. It was good. The hawaiian painkiller drink was nice. Not too strong. For entrees, I picked Kampachi which came with bok choy. Although the portion looked small, it was a good size. Very flavorful. I had a hard time picking between 3 fish entrees. This one worked out well. My wife had a shrimp farfalle pasta. She enjoyed it. When we went to order dessert, they brought us out a lava cake like dessert with happy anniversary written in chocolate on the plate. Complimentary and such a nice touch! It seems like they do pay attention on the reservation. The place was semi-busy but not packed. Bar looked huge. Great service as well.

From the moment you arrive, you know you're in for something special. Complimentary valet parking, breathtaking views of the ocean, beautifully manicured golf course, infinity pools, and even a distant lighthouse create an unforgettable setting before you even sit down. We started with the Lobster Tempura and the Grilled Octopus, and both were excellent. The cocktails were beautifully crafted and the perfect way to begin the evening. For our entrées, we ordered the Kampachi (the first fish on the menu) and the Filet Mignon. After sharing both dishes, my husband and I completely agreed--the fish was the clear winner. It was absolutely outstanding. Every element on the plate complemented the others perfectly, creating one of those dishes you remember long after dinner is over. The filet mignon was very good--perfectly cooked and flavorful--but if we returned, we would order fish again without hesitation. In fact, we'd probably try the other fresh fish option as well (I believe it was Opah). Dessert was the perfect ending to the meal. We enjoyed the warm chocolate cake and the Hawaiian-inspired banana split, both beautifully prepared and delicious. This is the kind of restaurant you choose when you want to celebrate a special occasion or simply treat yourself to an exceptional meal. The combination of stunning scenery, attentive service, creative cocktails, and outstanding cuisine makes it well worth the visit. It's easy to understand why Hualani's has earned such an outstanding reputation. This was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Kauai, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

Unless FIFA introduces a salary cap for Brie consumption, I'll be back hopefully before the next tournament. One clutch tip before you try your own championship run: reserve a table. This place stays packed harder than a World Cup final because it sits in the middle of a gorgeous Lihue plantation where you can ride trains, sample rum, and wander around pretending you're the captain of your own national squad. If your afternoon turns into a highlight reel after a couple rum tastings, sub in your phone and lock down that reservation before you're left watching from the sidelines. The Macadamia Nut Crusted Brie and grape salad deserves its own Golden Boot. The warm, crispy bread delivers perfect assists while the sweet grapes and creamy cheese play tiki-taka so beautifully they'd make defenders dizzy. Then comes the creamy portabella mushroom pasta, which doesn't need chicken, shrimp, or any superstar signing--it carries the entire squad by itself and wins the game in extra time. The staff treats every guest like they just scored the winning penalty, and if you really want the championship experience, request the patio garden. Dining out there feels less like lunch and more like lifting the World Cup trophy in paradise... minus the confetti, plus way better food. Oh BTW there bar and cocktails are to die for!!

They have signs on the ground floor telling you to look up. Too funny since i parked on the street and was looking for the place when a worker said it was upstairs. The best place to park is along Koloa Road and take the stairs up and to the left. When I entered the place I liked it right away. The restaurant was so clean and crisp looking. Something about it , was really neat looking. It was Asian ruined. I liked the music they were playing too. A little techno but that soon changed to country ugh. heheh. We were greeted right away and also seated the same. There were only a few tables taken up at this time since it was only half an hour since they had opened. The staff was really friendly and explained the specials and the favorite menu items. There was so much i wanted to try but there were only the wife and I. The wife got the pigs in a blanket. She said the eggs were cooked perfectly, nice and soft. Liked it I started with the special banana bread bites which were yummy. Then I got the pork hash and fried rice. It looked wonderful and tasted great. Loved it. I knew this was the place to go for a fantastic breakfast. We loved it so much we came here , I think 3 or 4 times during our stay. If we lived here they would call us by name. Next time we got the All about the Bennys. The wife got it with pork belly and it didn't disappoint. so good. I had to try the pancakes so I got one Lilikoi It was so yummy and flaky the wife didn't care for the roasted macadamia nuts but I liked them roasted. Had to get the Loco Moco your way. So I got the shaved prime rib. Wow so perfect. Loved the flavor and it sure hit the spot. Next day the wife got the two eggs with bacon and a crispy shredded potatoes which were amazing. Loved the crunchy potatoes. It was her favorite. I got the crispy pulled pork sandwich and it was just ok , it was kind of dry and I had to ask for bbq sauce to get it down. Won't get that again. And of course another Lilikoi pancake. Last trip the wife got the two eggs and bacon with the crispy potatoes. I got the Loco Moco with the beef patty this time. Of course another Lilikoi pancake. Till the next time we are back in Kauai. We will be back. Funny now the staff welcomed us back because we went there so many times. Love the food. A most stop at place.

Our wait was maybe five minutes, and a quite friendly maître d' took us to our table, asking about us and our vacation so far. Upon being seated, another brought us water and was also very friendly, followed by our waiter who reviewed the menu and discussed some frequently asked questions. The menu itself had a nice variety of appetizers and dishes. There is also a tasting menu option with multiple courses. Bread was brought to the table in the form of a basket of ube rolls that were quite nice. My wife chose the Filet Mignon, and I the Seafood Tagliatelle. Her steak was presented well and she enjoyed it. My pasta was quite well prepared as we'll, and featured a couple of roasted prawns that had me initially believe it was a split lobster tail. Dessert was a macadamia nut-topped crème brûlée. The nuts and berries went wonderfully with the custard. My notes: Nothing served was exceptional. Very fine quality, no doubt, but none of it was a reason to choose here over any other fine dining restaurant. The wine list was rather boring - a selection of the most popular varietals from a few regions. Nothing specifically exciting or well-paired to a specific dish. If you are looking for an exceptional meal, I'd start elsewhere. It was very good - you're just not going to remember it later. The draw here is the ambience and the view, which for my purposes was the focus of the evening. It's spectacular. One you *will* remember long after. One final caveat: We dined here about four days after they had reopened following a very powerful hurricane that struck causing extensive damage. It's very possible things in the kitchen are not back to 100% so my review may be an exception. It's testament to the staff they did as well as they did while the island is still recovering.

Our waiter was also so sweet and made the experience even more special. He offered to take pictures of us together throughout our time there, which I really appreciated. Everything we ordered was delicious. The ube rolls are still something me and my husband talk about to this day! You really can't go wrong with this restaurant. I mentioned that we were celebrating a special occasion, and they referred us to their bakery department for a cake. My husband loves carrot cake and cheesecake, so we decided to go with a carrot cake cheesecake, and WOWWWW. It was honestly one of the best carrot cake cheesecakes we've ever had! I had no idea how the cake was going to turn out since I'm not a local, had never eaten at this restaurant before, and had never been referred to their bakery/restaurant. I kind of went into it completely blind, but I couldn't have asked for a better experience. They seriously blew me away!
