She refuses to prescribe or even REFILL life-affecting medications. She rolls her eyes at patients when they have concerns and is overall rude, mean, and disrespectful. Your hippocratic oath is to do no harm, yet making your patients cry and refusing to refill medications they've been on for years is damaging to your patients mental health and physical health. Shameful.

:: DRUM ROLL, PLEASE::…read more This award is going to the doctor with the best "Bedside Manners". Give it up for Dr. Proddatoori!!! Yes, honey, YASSS! Dr. Proddatoori has exceeded ALL.OF.MY.EXPECTATIONS! This woman is an Angel. In order to receive the award of good bedside manners, you have to: 1. Listen to your patient 2. Find your empathy 3. Empower your patient 4. Talk in plain language. I don't know what those jargons mean for my damn test results. That's for a doctor to explain. 5. Not act like you know everything. You're not God. The patient is their own best doctor. (Repeat Step #1). Yelpers, if you are looking for a fantastic woman doctor, please look into Epic Care, specifically for Krithika Proddatoori. I've been a patient now for almost 4 years and this place has NEVER disappointed me. My experience all began with Dr. Titov; Ahh, that handsome man just makes me smile every time I think of him. Okay, I'll stop lusting over Dr. Titov! I have slowly transitioned in seeing Dr. Proddatoori for almost 6 months now, and every time I see her she is always so pleasant and caring. A very soft-spoken doctor that takes time to listen to all of your concerns and tries to address them. What REALLY made us connect more is my health scare this February after a wonderful 5-day vacation. I had a terrible allergic reaction that took weeks and weeks to cure as the doctors tried to find out what was going on. Dr. Proddatoori was with me every step of the way. I remember walking into the doctor's office without an appointment and she was shocked that the front desk allowed me to wait so long to be seen. She informed me next time I make a request to be seen sooner. Times where I needed to make an appointment emergency to see her; she would always fit me into her busy schedule. Dr. Proddatoori has NEVER treated me like a number. She answers all my questions, explains my blood results with me, and when she doesn't know what's going on with me, she simply is honest and says, "Go to the ER". Epic Care is very limited on what they can in their office, but she understands that paying for an ER is not the first choice for me as dishing out $100 is no fun, but health comes first. I remember I always said to myself I would never want a woman doctor because they make assumptions on how you feel based on their own experience. I was sad when I transitioned from Dr. Titov, but Dr. Proddatoori has proven herself to me. She cares and it shows. I am so happy that I met someone that I can be honest with about everything! Thank you Dr. Proddatoori! I love the reassurance that I'm in good hands when I feel that life is giving me too much to handle! Epic Care is lucky to have you all the way from New York!

I was taking my son in for a follow-up post ER visit after having several focal seizures and was going to request a referral for a new neurologist. Long story short, Dr. Cheng became UNHINGED when she looked at her computer schedule. The appointment was noted on a different day, but when I told her the scheduler gave me this date and time she began yelling at us that she needed to see the new patient first and we would have to wait (mind you, we're already seated IN her office). When I told her that we had another appointment and that we couldn't wait, oh, she really got confrontational! I told her it was very unprofessional of her to react that way in front of my son who wasn't feeling the best. I had to calm him down in order to avoid causing another seizure. We left the office without the care he needed and felt very shocked, disheartened, and discriminated against.

(Literally impossible over the computer). Which meant when I received a real well woman's visit that I'd been waiting for, my insurance wouldn't cover it. The mistake wasn't discovered until after they billed it to insurance. Leaving me 300$ to pay out of pocket. When I called the office to fix the visit I received a "too bad so sad. And general we do not care attitude. I will never be returning online here and am warning everyone of my terrible experience.
