Double Charged and No Accountability: BEWARE…read more Please make sure to check your credit card statement if you shop here. I was charged twice for a single transaction totaling $227.63-and the way this was handled was incredibly unprofessional. I spoke with a woman named Christina, and rather than taking ownership or even offering a basic apology, she immediately shifted the blame to the credit card processing company. She told me they were closed and the issue would be addressed the following morning. Two days later-no update on my card, no call back. So I followed up myself AGAIN. Christina did not even acknowledge she forgot both to follow up and to handle the issue. Still, no apology for the oversight. Then, to make matters worse, she told me she couldn't credit the full amount and proceeded to argue with me that the store only charged once. She said she has to call their credit card processor for the remaining amount and sounded annoyed. This mistake should have been handled promptly. It's been 6 days, and I have yet to receive my credit back. Mistakes happen, I understand that. But the complete lack of responsibility, professionalism, and customer care is what prompted this review. Make sure you receive confirmation that you were only charged once for your transaction before you leave. Christina admitted it has happened before.

I said "we're together" and she said "ohhhh okayyyy" With a very sarcastic and condescending tone. I told the lady at the counter who said "maybe she was trying to see if she needed help". If that was the case she would've asked "do you need help" AND she would've ask the rest of us as well. This is what day to day racism looks like! It's not always slurs, it's assuming people don't belong because they're brown, and it's also people trying to justify others comments to be anything other than what they are: discrimination and racism.
