A few years back the amusement arcades in Llandudno, Colwyn Bay and Rhyl used to have 'Who Wants To…read moreBe A Millionaire' quiz machines. Being a bit of a trivia buff I could quite often win the £40 jackpot on these. It's the only gaming machine I've ever known on which I could make a profit more often than not. These days the only remaining Millionaire machine I know of is in this dump, although unfortunately it's usually out of order. It seems to me that whilst other arcades update their machines nothing ever changes here. The machines don't appear to have been changed, or even moved, for many years. It's almost like a gaming machine museum. It also appears that no one has been around with a duster and polish for many years. Rhyl's arcades by and large aren't the most appealing of places but this one is by far the most dismal and depressing of the lot. It really needs a good clean and a bit of redecoration wouldn't go amiss. For the sake of your own sanity avoid this place at all costs.

Do not go! Rhyl has very much gone down hill over the past decade or so. The arcades are in an…read moreawful state. On playing pool some of the tables were ripped and the cues in poor order. You will find loads of arcades along the front and they just feel dirty and cheap. Avoid!! Go to Llandudno instead much cleaner area and less of an eye saw!
